We enjoyed our stay very much!! We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and shortly after our arrival, the staff brought us champagne on ice with 2 champagne flutes which we enjoyed out on our balcony with our breathtaking view!!! Our room was clean, bright and airy, with some old world charm and elegance. The breakfasts were plentiful, staff were accommodating and friendly. Only downfall was that the hotel restaurant was pricey and limited so we only ate one meal there. We went into Porto Santo Stefano for dinner every night, which was not terribly far but had to travel on dark winding roads as the hotel was very remote. But we loved it at Hotel Torre di Calapiccola! The grounds were gorgeous, with views of the mountains and sea all around. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definately be back!

Nice quiet easy to find location with beautiful view of Scarlino. Rooms clean and dinner at Coldisasso good. Small shower in bathroom only negative. Small town perched on hilltop of Gavorrano nearby was wonderful to explore

The hotel has awesome pool. It is close to the beach. The hotel has private beach (surcharge for the beach chairs). We enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

La Caletta was a wonderful little hotel on the far end of the harbor with a great swimming and umbrella area. It has the advantage of being right on the wate, past the busy street with restaurants and shops. Ignore GPS and mapquest--you will never find it that way if you are driving. just drive into Argentario and follow the streets along the harbor edge all the way to the far end, passing the Coast Guard station. It is just past there. The maid service was the best I have seen in years--a spotless room, they give you beach towels but you must ask, the gentleman at the desk speaks several languages and is very very helpful and pleasant. The AC works well, not always the case in European hotels, the bed comfortable and not as hard as some in Europe. The decor is shabby chic, thinking 1950s Daytona Beach Florida, but spotless. The breakfast is a good spread, with the ability to get scrambled or fried eggs on request. Would recommend this as a lovely little place to spend a couple of nights.

We landed in Rome at 9 so we needed a stop, part way up the Toscany coast. This hotel was in the right geographic spot, and we arrived about 11 p.m. While the desk clerk at nights English was poor, we got everything we needed. Parking was easy, the Wifi was fine in the restaurant and the breakfast was good. Very nice room. I would definitely stop here again.

I did not expect much but it was even less. This hotel is a shame for the name hotel and service. There are always things that are satisfied and seems OK but if I go somewhere where I have to pay for than everything should be OK. The management is not able to motivate any of the staff memebers and the all of the lobby staff should be replaced at once. […] Disrespectfull persons that only try to hold on as long as the season will take. I am not gona spend much time by telling what is wrong about this place because it is a waste of time. My advise, there are much better places for the same amount of money or less in the same area and you should go there if you respect yourself. Better sleep in the car than this filthy place. I don't know why this is only a 3 star Hotel, the staff where so warm and friendly and helpful, much better than some of the more expensive larger hotels. Stayed in this hotel for two nights in May. Mostly the hotel is ok. About one km from railway station. The only complaints I have are related to sound insulation and shower (the room door was about 1 cm thick whereas the bathroom door was about 4 cm thick...). Breakfast was not the best I've had but not the worst either. Staff is helpful.

Très bon accueil, petit déjeuner très correct et copieux. Chambre correcte : la salle de bain aurait mérité d'être un peu plus grande (en particulier les toilettes). Hôtel bien placé près de la vieille ville que l'on recommande.
