This hotel didn't come up on our GPS but believe me you can find it! Look for Klink strasse. The streets are all one way, so be aware! Great hotel location!! Really enjoyed our stay!

The building is quaint and well maintained. Service was excellent and had a family-run feel to it. The location is close enough to walk to everywhere, but not in the center of town and quiet. No hassle parking. Only disappointment was that internet was soley via a pay WiFi in the lobby. Otherwise perfect hotel that we'd gladly use again.

I loved the location and the breakfast. Hotel was clean all was fine. BUT, the hotel consists of several buildings. They booked me in the Forest Haus. This building was more remote than the others. You had to drive your car to it. I would recommend a different building. Also, no internet in this building and the Sauna in this building was out of order. Schöne Umgebung, etwas überlastetes Personal, Pech mit der Aussicht aus dem Zimmer: dunkel und Blick auf einen Schuppen, was man bei einem Schlosshotel nicht unbedingt erwartet. Frühstück in Ordnung, aber keinerlei Variationen.

4 Sterne Schlosshotel mit Pool und Wellniss. Nach den Fotos im Internet hatte man ja eine vorfreude!Doch leider: Das Zimmer glich einer Dachkamme sehr Geruchsintensiv ( ? )und dunkel. Das Bad war eher was für Akrobaten.Der Dachboden war sehr lebendig! Wir tauschten das Zimmer!Ging fix!War gut, aber im allgemeinem ist die ganze Innen- wie Ausenanlage […] sehr runtergekommen und wirkt daduch "Schmuddellig"und ungepflegt.Das Essen hatte 4 Sterne. Det er 4 eller 5 gang jeg er på schloss Meissdorf, og nok ikke sidste. Sommer og vinter er der mange tilbud. Skøn natur, mange gode ture og seværdigheder + ski om vinteren. Hotellet er upåklageligt på alle områder.

Sehr freundlicher Service. Angeboten wurde das Hotel als 4-Sterne-Hotel, untergebracht wurden wir aber im 3-Sterne-Bereich. Abzuraten ist vom Zimmer 160 im Chalet Ludwig. Der Toilettenbereich ist nur etwas für Kinder, Kleinwüchsige oder Akrobaten, aber nichts für ältere Personen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend, bei einem mehrtägigen Aufenthalt […] aber etwas langweilig. Hotellet er for dem som gerne vil have stille og ro, og ikke har noget imod at skulle køre igennem det smukke Harzen for at komme til seværdigheder. Restauranten er ikke noget specielt, men af OK standard.

Doch noch Glück gehabt! Unsere direkte Nachfrage an der Rezeption nach einem freien Zimmer wurde kurzerhand verneint. Also setzte ich mich vor dem Hotel auf eine Bank in die Sonne und nahm mein Handy zur Hand. Der Anruf bei tripadvisor ergab einen netten Kontakt mit einer netten kompetenten Mitarbeiterin die uns prompt ein Zimmer reservierte zu einem […] guten Preis. Zahlung per Kreditkarte, alles ganz unkompliziert und am Telefon. Dann nach einem Spaziergang wieder in die Rezeption zu einem verdutzten Mitarbeiter rein. "Guten Tag nochmal. Wir haben ein Zimmer reserviert". Alles lief glatt, denn die Buchung lag mittlerweile per mail vor. So kanns gehen und wir brauchten nicht nach Haus zu fahren und konnten spontan eine Nacht im Schloss Maisdorf verbringen. Vom Hotel her nicht möglich, aber wie auch immer dann per Internet ! Vielen Dank nochmal an Hotels.com und großes Fragezeichen an die Zimmervergabe und Rezeption des Hotels. Read more
