This was our first trip to Asia. That being said, I chose this hotel because of it's good reviews and it's price. The hotel is extremely clean, the rooms are very small yet modern. We ate in the restaurant, which was good but very expensive. $20 per person! As budget travelers this was a little pricey but very nice

I got a deluxe ocean view room but the room was tiny. There isn't enough space for two luggage, so we had to stand them when not using. Waste of money. Worst location for a business stay. It took me 30 minutes to locate the place with a local taxi driver. No western food anywhere around. 1.5 elevators for 30+ floors hotel. I waited for 15 minutes to go down to the lobby. The room size is about 3 meters x 3 meters. No where to put your things. When I checked in they told me that they […] must transfer me to a "sister" hotel in a different part of the city because the room was flooded. The Room what I got was extremely tiny and tight. I only had a backpack but if I had both of my luggage (I left them at the airport on purpose) I would have not been able to enter the room. The elevator was annoying. It took forever to get up or downstairs. Otherwise ok, if you just really spend a night there. I knew I'd only get there late night, sleep […] and leave. We wanted to stay in Central, but this hotel was so much cheaper we stayed here instead. HK is a very easy city to walk and it ended up being easy to get to Central and other parts of the city. Either by walking, Metro or cheap cab rides. The room was super small, but the free daily breakfast made up for it.

The room was a decent size and very clean. The front desk was courteous. The free breakfast was an extra treat. The hotel is a good 10-15 minutes walk from the Sheung Wan MTR. With luggage, it can be an ordeal.

The Harbor View room is so tiny it's uncomfortable. The air condition wasn't working properly we felt like suffocating, so we complaint twice. The door lock was jammed and we couldn't get out. After our complains, the hotel upgraded us to a deluxe harbor view room. The room is a little bigger, the air condition was working properly but the electric […] curtain was stuck, the press-open drawer next to the mini-bar was broken too. I was so disappointed! The hotel is 15 mins. walk from the nearest MTR station, but if you can figure out how to catch the electric tram, then it's quite convenient. By the way, the water in the toilet was very murky too. This is the fourth hotel I stayed in Hong Kong, and I travel to a different country almost every year, this is the worst I've experienced. But to be fair, this is the only non-five star hotel I stay in, it's hard to compare a 3 star to a 5 star. Read more

I loved the hotel. Breakfast was on the house with vouchers..and it was good ! (Have it or you can have coffee at any pacific coffee house..which is like a starbucks..). Anyway, When we first got there, i was surprised that the wall dividing room from bathroom was glass from waist up. So, as you're sitting on the toilet, you can see whats happening in the room and vice versa (no there was no way to cover it..or it wasnt a dark glass). So we called service and they put up a curtain..which was better. So, problem solved. (Except for bathroom door entrance.it too was glass..but it didnt matter bc it didnt face the room..so as long as hubby didnt walk past it while i was in there, no problem). When I got to the hotel, the porter did a mad dash to the cab to pull out my luggage and led me to the 1st floor check in counter... received a free upgrade to the deluxe harbourview room! Queen sized bed, 42 inch LG TV... room was a little small... but on vacation... how often are you gonna be in the room anyway? the tea, biscuits and next day's weather […] was a nice touch... Okay... yes its kinda far from Sheung Wan MTR station (about 10 min walk)... The rooms are tiny - but I was travelling alone so I didn't mind. I had a good size window over looking the harbor which was nice waking up to. It has all the necesseties and the rooms are well planned... Since it's a new hotel it was very clean - even the housekeeping did a great job of keeping the room very clean. Only a 7-min walk from Sheung Wan MTR station, and a 10-min walk from IFC I. Got free upgrade to the 32nd floor harbour view room, but took forever to get to the ground level since only one of the elevators in service on the night that we stayed.

The hotel is still doing construction and only one elevator working at this time so waste lots of time waiting for elevator. The hotel is not easy to locate and about 15 mins from a MTR station. More signage needs to be used at MTR station and streets in that area to show location and distance to hotel.
