It was a pleasant, clean and modern place to stay before we left Italy the next morning. The free shuttle service to the airport was a nice perk. The evening reception desk person was very friendly and also gave us great advise of a good place to eat in the area.

All in all a great little B&B. Only small annoyances location on main street a bit loud, internet when it did work: it was very slow. Housekeeping only available before 12pm. So if you are not out of your room by then you won't have toilet paper, fresh towels etc. Good perks free snacks and and drinks.

You can reach him via phone at other times however. Good location to most sites but the Colosseum & Forum areas (about 25 min walk to those). Included breakfast is adequate - some cold-cuts and cheese plus cereal, bread, yogurt, etc. Really good Rick Steve's recommended restaurants on the same street. the first impression, the street entrance, doesn't do this little gem justice... you walk in thru a drab door, into a drab hallway, up some stairs, then, thru the door.... as soon as you enter, though, you know townhouse Spagna is something special... staff was very helpful, it was CLEAN!, room was modern and CLEAN, bathroom was modern and CLEAN, A/C […] worked great (and we could control the temp and the fan), location was GREAT, a block from the spanish steps, 3 min walk to the Trevi Fountain, endless shops right around the corner. We had a lovely stay at Town House Spagna. Paolo the owner was very welcoming and gave us great suggestions for the area. The town house is in a perfect location for seeing all the main sights of Rome. It is located right off the main shopping street and also very close to the Spanish Steps and the metro station which is so easy to use to get to all […] the main sights. There are lots of nice places to eat in the area but stay away from the restaurants in the centre of things – these tend to overcharge and you can get much nicer if you search down the side streets. The rooms are small but very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was nice and had everything we needed. Paolo arranged a taxi to the hotel which costs 40 euro which was worth every cent – saved us lots of time and the taxi driver showed us lots of things on the journey. I would highly recommend Town House Spagna for a visit to Rome! We would most definitely go back :)Thanks Paolo Read more

Fikk mail fra hotellet ca 1 uke føre avreise, med forespørsel om de skulle hente oss på flyplassen. Pris 45 Euro. Dette er greit når resepsjonen kunn er betjent når gjestene ankommer. Udemærket sted. Rart sted at bo, hjælpsomt personale. Der kan godt strammes op på morgenmaden. Italien er moder for pølse, ost og skinke, så nytter det ikke at der er spam-skinke, pakkeost og vacum-pølse på bordet. Brødet var også særdeles kedeligt og kaffen kun lige drikkelig.

We stayed at the Town House Spagna in a delux room for four days. We were greated by the owner who gave us great tips on restaurants, coffe places and so forth. The room was very modern, had a small balcony facing a courtyard but did not have a minibar. However the room was very clean and a bit small. They offered free wifi in room which worked very […] well. The breakfast was very basic and they did not offer a lot of options. Also note that the hotel is situated on the first floor and there isn't an elevator so your luggage will have to be carried up some stairs. However we really enjoyed our stay at the Town House Spagna as it is very centrally located in a busy but safe area and also due to the owners great service. Read more

Apesar de não ter a estrutura de um hotel, não deixa nada a desejar. As chaves de todas as portas são entregues ao hóspede, o que dá muita liberdade. O quarto amplo, bem decorado, a cama é ótima., o wifi funciona bem no quarto. O café da manhã é básico, mas suficiente. Os donos, Paolo e Emanuele, são muito gentis, prestativos, e costumam estar presentes […] na recepção. A localização é perfeita, em uma rua charmosinha, cheia de restaurantes, muito perto da Escalinata e do Metro Spagna. Normalt synes jeg at slike anmeldelser blir veldig varierte og pleier derfor ikke å se så mye på de, men jeg ønsker å formidle min opplevelse av dette hotellet da jeg synes det var helt fantastisk. Allerede en uke før ankomst ble kontaktet av hotellets eier med forespørsel om å bli hentet på flyplassen av hotellets pick-up service. Dette kostet knapt […] mer en taxi og det var meget behagelig å slippe taxi kø utenfor Roma flyplass (fiumicino..) Mottakelsen på hotellet var førsteklasses. En hyggelig italiener som først viste oss hotellet og hvor vi skulle bo. Deretter brukte han mye tid på å vise kartet av Roma og hans favorittsteder og Piazza'er med anbefalinger. Hotellet ligger så sentralt som man kan få det i Roma for en langweekend. Et stenkast fra Spanske trappen og et hav av muligheter for shopping som min forlovede absolutt ikke klaget på... Det eneste jeg kan sette fingeren min på med dette hotellet er at det var litt lytt, men ikke til det plagsomme. Read more
