Everything is as expected. Great staff, clean and comfortable room although no view in our room, overlooking a wall. Location is great. If driving, be aware pay parking is available at discounted price in nearby public multi-level car park if ticket is validated at reception. Wifi signal is strong on the 2nd floor. Check-in and check-out was hassle-free. Beds are comfortable. Pillows are soft and towels are clean. Room temperature can be adjusted to your liking. Worth your money but do factor in the pay parking which currently costs £8 per 24 hours.

Ask for a quiet room! The higher floor the better.I had room 514 and it was ideal. There were big roadworks on the Main Street outside and at 8am Sunday morning they were drilling like crazy so I'm glad I had the quiet room.

Great hotel in all aspects. Only downside is no proper hotel car park. Nearby NCP is pricey. The hotel cap the car park charge down to £8 (which is good for overnight) but not good when coming in and out a few times in the day as the parking charges add up! But once again, worth the price and rooms are nice and fresh.

Good location, central and easy to walk to from the train station. I chose to eat in the hotel and ordered a burger without onions. Unfortunately the chef sent out onion rings with the order as he thought that I didn't mean no onions at all. The burger was raw inside and I sent it back asking for it to be well done, after I had to send it back a second time for the same reason, I gave up. The waitress was fantastic, very apologetic and didn't charge me for the chips I ate - thankfully! It was a shame they didn't offer an alternative at no extra cost. The rooms are clean and well kept but not great if you are a light sleeper. The first room I had when I arrived was an accessible room - which I didn't need - and was on the corner of the hotel, next to a main road and above the hotel bar. I couldn't sleep as it was so loud so asked to be moved which I was promptly - the staff were fantastic. I was given an "inside" room which faceed the back of the hotel. This was much better but I was still woken at 1am by someone shouting outside - take your earplugs!

I have stayed in Ramada hotels before and never have I received the standards I met in this room. There were dirty marks all down the shower glass in the bathroom aswell as water marks around the sink. The toilet seat had a chip in it. There was dirty marks on the bed side tables, similar to to that of tea or coffee spills. Two lamps in the room did not work and sheet was inside out on the bed. I had wrote all of this on a piece of paper and left it visible in the room.

Could have been cleaner eg around plug hole, and we both didn't sleep well in the bed and room wasnt sound proof enough not like another chain. But suppose that's why it's pretty well priced.

A basic hotel in a good situation for the mainline rail station and city-center shops and eateries. The room was adequate for two seniors such as ourselves,and the wet-room/ washbasin/loo facilities were a nice change from some of the 'shower-in-the- bath' hotels that we have experienced in the past. Breakfast was a haphazard affair- poor service in clearing tables on the first day, and no fresh fruit or pastries left by the time we got there at 8.30. The next morning was a bit better, and we felt that we had better value for the £10 each that we were charged. We would stay there again, but probably find breakfast somewhere else.

Wooden flooring was dirty and the bed had wheels so it kept moving forward. The tv connection was bad. The service from the staff wasn't that great as the food took along time to arrive and the waiter just took our food away without asking how it was. The hairdryer button had to be constantly held which was a pain. The noise in the hotel was also a problem compared to other hotels which are quiet. You also had to pay for parking unlike when I stayed at premier inn where the parking was free

I have stayd here twice and on both occassions it has been great. The staff are very nice and helpfull and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Excellent location for pubs, bars restuarants and the curve (1 minute away) and parking is only £8.00 for 24 hrs + in the ncp if you get your ticket validated at the hotel. I will be booking again.

This is a venue for party goes, hen groups etc... Leicester's nightlife is on the doorstep and on the streets till the early hours... so for those that like to party and shop excellent. In which cade great value. Could improve by putting more teabags that don't burst open in the room and removing the dust from under the bed... had fun sneezing. Room can take a while to warm up. Boringly bland staff lack sparkle.

Very noisy people in next room who woke us up at 3am. Poor sound proofing. City centre location OK, but again noisy at night. Shockingly expensive breakfast was not good value, but obviously the downside of a cheap hotel. Would NOT recommend.

Unfortunately, the Hotel cannot control the noise levels from people in the City Streets , although there are areas of the Hotel where this may be less of an issue. Our breakfast Price is £12.95 for full English and Continental Breakfast, which is very competative. However, when bought as part of your room rate package, it is greatly reduced. I stayed here as I am studying distance at De Montfort Uni. I have stayed twice before during the week and come back as during the week its quiet and the rooms have a good desk and all facilities are great. Staff are really nice and friendly. This was the first time i had stayed over a weekend. It was very noisy in the street but there is a bistro live just down from the hotel that was very noisy and music played until 1am and I could hear it word for word in my room which wasn't good when I had an early start the next morning. I would stay during the week and if I stayed at a weekend I would ask for a room at the back of the hotel as its not their fault the street noise is there. Overall I would recommend it but just at a weekend as for a room at the back.

I believe this hotel was opened only last year (2012), so it's nice and fresh and modern. The room was relatively bright and airy and comfortable to be in whether you're just there to sleep or spending a whole day in. There was a good-sized TV, a comfy sofa, a swivel chair, a desk and, best of all, properly effective air conditioning. The main problem I had was with the bed linen. The pillowcases in particular had some very unpleasant marks on them. We came back one day to find that one of the pillowcases we'd been given had a huge brown mark across the edge. We placed it outside our room to indicate we did not want it but the housekeeping staff merely put it back on the bed the next day. In addition to that that day, the toilet had not been cleaned and rubbish was left in the bathroom. I wrote a note to the housekeeping staff the following day and was pleased to find my requests were then met. The only other downside of our stay here was our experience in the restaurant, as the staff were not very attentive and by the time I decided I ought to bring their attention us, they told us it was then too late to order the desserts we were hoping for. However, we were pleased with this hotel overall and would recommend it. We may even go back ourselves.

Stayed here to attend a family party at a restaurant nearby and was very pleased I chose this hotel rather than the cheaper option. The staff were very friendly which is always a bonus and I would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the ramada during my stepsons graduation and I have to say the staff were very helpful, the rooms were very comftable. I do hope that we see more of this hotel chain in the next couple of years as their prices are comparable to a travelogue or premier inn but the experience is more what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. I'm not usually one for writing reviews but this hotel exceeded my expectations.

Not very organised. On arrival we were told that there were no twin rooms left, which is annoying as we had specifically booked a twin room for two lads. We were offered a double room. Obviously we declined and they then offered us a room with a double bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was really uncomfortable and I didn't sleep well because of it. The room was clean and the bathroom was really nice even though it only had a shower. Laminate flooring in the bedrooms is a bit silly in my opinion though. The guy at reception was useless when we asked for directions to places. We asked where the Wetherspoons bars are, and he said he didn't know what we meant... We then asked about where the casinos are and got told, "there are many casinos in Leicester" - well duh, we want to know where they are! If you don't know, just say that! A nice local who was in the resteraunt explained to us how to get to Wetherspoons though :) Upon arriving back after a night out, the guy at reception this time seemed a bit agressive towards us asking to see our key card in a not nice tone. Fair enough, keeping it secure, but manners cost nothing. We weren't drunk so we didn't stumble in or anything!

Excellent hotel. Only down fall is some of the rooms have curtains closed but as you pull them back there is no window just a white wall. Rooms i have stayed in have nice views big glass windows really modern n fresh. Location is perfect for shopping eating n night life. Staff members are very friendly n helpful too.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. It is close to Leicester's theatres and on the night I stayed, I wasn't troubled by street noise. Free wifi and parking at the nearby NCP costs £8 a day. Would happily return next time I'm in Leicester.

The hotel is nice and rooms are comfortable. A certain event that happened that night with a staff member has made me rate this review at a lower satisfaction. But the bar and restaurant staff are great when needed.

Good location, walking distance to train station, shopping, dinning and clubs. Clean and tidy hotel with decent food available downstairs.

Good stay and near to the City Centre. The hotel was clean and nicely appointed. Only gripe is with Leicester's one way system - getting to the centre is a bit of a pain!

A premier inn hotel room looks nicer. Room is very cold looking with white tube light. But if you get this cheaper it's worth going for. Service and cleanliness was great .

Apart from teh design and location of the hotel I can find little positive to say...Our room was freezing cold and nothing couyld be done to imoprove it - all we got was a nother duvet literally chucked on the bed. The debit from my card for 'incidentals' which I was informed was not debited just ring fenced took 5 days to come back, despite being informed by the hotel it would be released back on checkout (and the bank even confirmed it HAD been debited and when advising the hotel, the staff member argued that I and mmy bank were wrong! Breakfast very average. Good location though and looked nice.....

heating not working in room and took surly staff ages to address the issue and give me another room. 2nd room not much beeter. Heating switched off aboutt 8pm. In the morning - 9am electics failed completely in room. A bill was put under my door though I had alrerady pre-paid. Receptionist was frosty and indifferent when I complained. Could not wait to get rid of me.

A good experience.Reasonably priced.Well appointed bedroom/bathroom.I had understood that newspapers were complimentary but I was charged.
