Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Genuine Expedia guest review
Genuine Expedia guest review
初めての洞窟ホテルでの滞在でしたが、とても素敵で、蛇口からワインがでたり、なかなか楽しかったです。スパもプールがあったり、とてもよかったです。Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay in Goreme"
08/26/14 coatesgirl Auckland, New Zealand
We stayed at Anatolian Houses for 3 nights in mid August 2014. There were 4 of us, being 2 couples, me and my husband late 50's and our daughter and her partner late 20's. The rooms are very large and had everything you would need. No airconditioning, but fans and we didn't need more as being in a cave it stayed quite cool during the day although hot outside. Lots of steps but Ok if you are fit. The staff are lovely. The barman knew us and was very prompt delivering drinks to the terrace outside our room where we had a lovely view over Goreme and the sunset. Breakfast was fine and lovely to have on the terrace. The reception staff were brilliant especially when our agent had failed to organise a transfer to Kayseri. They fixed it up, simply brilliant. very friendly , very hospitable, what more do you want. The pool is small but very cold. It was 38 degrees and after our walks , simply magic. Free wifi in the outside areas as service didn't go into the caves.I would definitely stay at Anatolian Houses again.

"Full of character, definitely recommend it"
We were fortunate enough to be in a King triple suite which had a sort of mezzanine with two single beds above the bathroom. Our son slept here. Master bedroom had a raised circular bed and a jacuzzi bath in it! Bathroom had a double shower and sink unit. Note there is NO air conditioning, that may be an issue for some but we were comfy in August with windows open at night. Breakfast wasn't very exciting but there is an omelette station and a Nespresso machine somewhere! Staff were generally very friendly and obliging. There is an Indian restaurant on site which has just opened and they are very proud of. My wife and I had a Turrkish bath. Contrary to a recent review we thoroughly enjoyed this and thought the therapists were great. Only negative point was that during the massage stage we were only separated from the pool area by thick curtains. At the time there were children shrieking and playing with electronic gadgets at full volume which ruined the ambience. Not the fault of the hotel or therapists who seemed a bit annoyed about it also.
"Simply the best in Goreme"
I came with family to Goreme in a 2-day trip just for the hot air-balloon trip but the hospitable staff made me wish to stay longer! Sinan (Front Officer, Staff) was very professional and communicative. We got an upgraded room which was great! The location of the hotel is ideal. The spa is good and has many therapies. So is the breakfast which was included in the room price rate. Sinan coordinated the aiport-hotel-airport transportation along to the hot-air balloon trip. Although it was pouring rain all night before our trip but we enjoyed it very much. I recommend this hotel highly.
"Fantastic hotel "
We stayed at Anatolian Houses in cappadocia for 2 nights on 30th and 31st July 2014. It's a lovely property rights in the heart of Goreme. Very quiet and calm through out the day. The ambience gets better in the evenings. The rooms are decent sized. The front office staff is very sweet and helpful especially Mr. Senan. A must do when staying at Anatolian Houses is the visit to sunset point which is a short walk up the hill next to the hotel. Enjoy breakfast while sitting in the terrace from where you can see the hot air balloons as well. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay here
"Super nice Boutique cave-hotel, Horrible SPA"
07/17/14 travelisfunLondon London, United Kingdom
The hotel is located in the heart of gore me a very good location to stay in Capadocia, as this city is full of shop, restaurant, bar ... It's a boutique cave Hotel , with troglodyte habitation, rooms are clean, nice, very quiet and decorated in troglodyte style with antique object in each room. At the check-in , they upgrade us in a supposed presidential suite, which was not so good that the room we booked, and was not looking at all as the presidential suite you can see on the website... by reading review, i realize i am not the only one to have this trouble: be upgraded at the presidential suite means be downgraded and pay the same price. Good to know that before. Breakfast buffet is very poor and uninteresting. Kerim at the front desk was very efficient to help us to organize our journey in cappadocia and solved the big fight we had at the SPA. The SPA with it's super nice indoor pool looking like an antique roman therms give us the willing to have a Turkish Bath. We enjoyed to relax in this amazing pool, and having a hammam. When we arrive at the room for Turkish Bath we realized it was cold. We complaint to our therapist about that She had the nerves to answer that: yes in anatolia, turkish bath are cold during the summer ! . It drives me crazy, i ask her I asked her to stop treating me like an idiot. But she insisted. We go to the front desk, kerim the manager on duty came with us and realize how unprofessional the therapist have been, he immediately apologize "of course a turkish bath or a sauna is hot summer like winter " He proposed to us to have two others therapist and we had a very bad massage, the worst i have never been. So if you are tempted by the very nice installation of the SPA, just used the pool and the hammam, but forget definitely to have a massage or a turkish bath: therapists are so unprofessional, so rude, so incorrect, and have never been trained neither certified to do massage. There is other nice Turkish Bath in town, much much cheaper. This SPA is a pure scam, the owner built an amazing installation but don't pay proper therapist, so you would have a bad experience for sure. Keep your money to a balloon flight, the best experience in Cappadocia. This fight at the SPA ruined my stay at this hotel. I have never been treated so rudely in a good standard hotel.

Had a great experience. Very close to the main market. Close to a great Indian Resturant. Very supportive staff. I will rank it higher then much hyped CCR where we stayed the first night. Paid around 220 liras for a 8 hours taxi.. Nice experience overall.
"Great room, very nice surroundings"
07/07/14 RLente Zwolle, The Netherlands
Very nice room (standard cave suite). 4304 has its own private terrace and is a very decent size. This room has a nice view and is quiet. Try to get a room in the (afternoon) shade, it makes a difference in the inside temperature during the day and evening. Some rooms can get a bit stuffy, opening the door and window(s) helps. Hotel is on two sides of a local street. This street can get busy with vans and touringcars. Hotel in itself is quiet. Staff is fine, could be a tad more hospitable. Not feeling comfortable when speeking (or trying to speak) English probably plays a role. Swimming pool is nice but is hardly used by guests. Might be due to its location: it's overlooked by the reception area and passing staff. In my opinion this is a good choice if you like to stay in a hotel that's a step above (in luxury) a regular hotel in Göreme.
"Stunning Hotel, Poor Hospitality"
07/01/14 Cinnamon2121 Victoria, Seychelles
Our family was thrilled to arrive at the beautiful Anatolian Houses. After we were shown to the Quadruple Room Suite we had booked, we realised it was more of a double-triple room suite. "So, so sorry madam! We have double booked your room, we will upgrade you to the Presidential Suite!" Um, this next room has no windows, no balcony, no...hang on! This is nothing like the beautiful suite we booked in the pictures. Guys! it is very easy to double check these details. Then, more lies, massive protestations. "Ok we will GIVE you $500 Euros/day!" (ha ha!! still waiting!) And finally led to a beautiful suite, just like we had booked, very ungraciously. "We didn't show you this room because it gives people claustrophobia" Ha ha! And the room half the size with no windows doesn't? I would expect this kind of dishonesty from a carpet seller, but not a 5 star hotel. Quite exhausting. On a positive note, this hotel is in the best location in Goreme and is visually stunning. It lacks a few of the finishing touches (no coffee or tea in the room, not enough towels) but if you are prepared to fight for your rights it is a cool hotel. Go to the Hamam in town, much less expensive than the spa here and a fantastic family experience.
