"Would Stay there again !"
First time visitor to Key West. Stayed for four days. the hotel was just right. More time was spent sight seeing than being in the hotel. It's a smaller hotel, very quiet and located in teh Southern part of the Island. Very close to Duval Street. The hotel service was good. I would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great place for a quick getaway. The service was friendly and room was clean. The only disappointment was the condition of the room, the bathtub was worn and the room dated. If it wasn't for the price paid I would have found these conditional items acceptable. I would stay here again and would recommend to a friend, would only hope they improve some […] of worn items in the guestroom. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"loved the people"
I loved the people working their. the rooms are small, very small. I set up the ironing board for a cosmetic and clothing stand. Work well. Breakfast is OK, bar is OK. price was the least at the time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Had a wonderful stay. Thank you"
Perfect vacationGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This is the first time we visited Key West. We only needed a room for a night and the Pearl was the perfect choice. Great location, outstanding customer service at the front desk and very clean. They could do better with the rooms but highly recommend if you're just looking for a nice, cozy, clean bedroom to drop off your luggage and sleep. I wish we […] would have stayed an extra night. "Very clean- small rooms, great property"
Rooms were very clean, although the room we were in was tiny. Just a bed with dresser and nightstand and bathroom. The property was cool, it had a bar, and 2 pools, and a hot tub. Very close to the Duval St fun. Nice continental breakfast in morning. We were in a building with 4 units and it had a "shared kitchen" which I wasn't expecting. We had our […] own bathroom though. Overall a great place! Would stay again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Pearls Needs a Shining"
The staff was very good and did the right thing, which was to upgrade us after our complaint was made about the noise coming from the bar late into the night. However, the facility beyond the entrance needs a good facelift: new rugs, new tiles and decking. The place looked generally tired. I missed the hot breakfast as well.Genuine Expedia guest review
we stayed at the Pearl for the weekend I was disappointed to not be able to park my vehicle and had to pay for street parking , the hotel is clean and tidy and the staff was friendly, the breakfast basic. overall not a bad stay but not something I would repeat.Genuine Expedia guest review
we had a great stay, we loved it there and would definitely book our next trip to key west at their resort.it was very clean and well maintained. the staff was friendly and a pleasure to deal with. and the location was ideal. thanks, hope to see you again next year!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"GREAT TIME AT PEARLS"
STAYED AT PEARLS FROM 4/04/2014 TIL 4/12/2014. HAD A GREAT TIME. ROOM WAS EXCELLENT, BOTH POOLS WERE VERY NICE. HOTEL STAFF WAS VERY PLEASANT. WOULD DEFINETLY GO BACK AGAIN.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was great. We arranged for two rooms - the first had a great balcony with two lounge chairs and the second was a suite with a a pool right outside our door. Did we luck out. The staff was helpful and the on site restaurant had a menu of Italian and Asian cuisine. It was conveniently located to the Most South Point of the City.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Pros....Clean. Just off Duval. Pool was nice. Front desk person was nice. Cons....EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. It is more like a Motel. Carpet was filthy and stained. I didn't walk around barefoot. The room, bathroom, and furniture was old and beat up. The view outside the window was of a trash heap. The shower head was level with my neck so I had to bend […] way down to wash my face and hair. I am 5'10". I've stayed and way nicer hotels for quarter of what I paid. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Disappointing for Price"
I stayed one night at the Pearl the end of April. I realize it was "in season" at Key West, however, for the price, I was very disappointed. When I first entered the room, I thought it was going to be "OK". The room was old and small and seemed relatively clean. But when I turned down my covers, I found a small dead bug on the sheet. My room was located […] so far away from the main building, I could not access the "free wifi". The room looked out on the street and located next to a door that led to the street so every time anyone went in or out, I could hear the door slam. The shower head was an old, small garden hose type hole which resulted in a very poor shower. There was a pedestal sink so there was no place to even put a toothbrush. There was no bath mat. The three windows only had blinds (no curtains or drapes) so when the only two small lights above the bed were turned off, it was not dark in the room. I tried leaving the Air Conditioner on to drown out the street noise, but it made squeeking noises so I turned it off completely. I tried to use the room phone to call my cousin who was in another room, but it didn't work. (I ended up using my cell phone.) In the morning, right next to one of the windows, a landscaper was doing work which woke me up. Two bottles of water and two beach towels were provided. The flat TV was appreciated. The hotel was walking distance to Duval Street. Parking is available for an additional cost. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, Nice Service, Rundown facility"
Unfortunately, Pearl's is a bit old and rundown. I don't mean that in a charming way. I mean it in a "this place needs some work" kind of way. Overall, things were okay at the hotel. The continental breakfast was average, the room was VERY small and didn't even have a closet. It seems our room was what used to be a house that was converted into 4 hotel […] rooms. The staff was very nice and seemed to do the best with what they had to work with. The location is right off of Southern Duval St, which is great. There are about 4 parking spaces for the hotel, so be advised you will need to find parking or pay for it (as my wife and I did) on the street for about $20 a day. This was the official word from the hotel staff. However, on the SW corner of United and Duval (1/4 block from the hotel) is a moped and bike rental place that will let you park for $10 bucks a day. That would have been nice to know. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We were a little disappointed with the condition of the room. We had a great time, and the pool area, and spa were nice. The rooms however really, need to be updated. The lamp shades on bedside tables were cracked and gave off poor light. The bedside tables were very dated and in terrible shape. Air-conditioner was very loud and made it hard to hear […] the television. For the rate we paid I think the amenities could have been better. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good Location but Overpriced for What You Get"
Hotel was pricey for what it offered. A bit faded and the rooms are very basic. Too basic for the $300/night price that we paid. Bathroom was dorm-like and had no amenities. Not dirty but there was a dampness and mildewy smell that shouldn't be in an establishment that charges $300/night. Also, no parking so we had to hunt for street parking nightl […] y. "Pearl's is a wonderful place to stay!"
My daughter and I stayed here last week and loved everything about it. Abby at the front desk is a sweetheart and Chin was always there making sure we had everything we need. We will definitely stay at Pearl's next time we visit Key West.Genuine Expedia guest review
"great place for group hangout"
a group of 9 friends met here for the weekend. we thoroughly enjoyed our time by the pool and the laid back atmosphere of the hotel. it is close to everything, yet away from the buzz.Genuine Expedia guest review
We stayed only one night had to write off the other two nights, moved across the street to the Southernmost hotel, far superior, no comparison at a similar priceGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very comfortable room."
We enjoyed our stay at Pearl's very much. The room was very comfortable and clean. The pool area is very nice. Quiet and near some nice sights like the Butterfly Conservatory. Parking was not an issue, although you do need to pay for the all-day rate.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The location was great, otherwise there's little else that's positive.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Long walk to action"
I liked the hotel room for the peace and quiet, but it is a long walk to the hot spot on Duvall. We tried getting a taxi at the end of the day to get back to Pearl’s and they just passed right by us. The pool area was nice and tropical, but on Monday afternoon they pumped up the volume on techno music, which is definitely not my cup of tea. Parking […] is an issue as Pearl’s only has 3 spots, and we were lucky enough to get one of them. One night someone parked in our spot and the night manager put in extra effort to clear up the situation. She deserves four stars! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect low key place to stay !"
Overall I we enjoyed our stay at Pearl's. Location was perfect. Easy bike ride to beaches and quick ride to the action on Duval street. My only complaint is that the hotel changed ownership during our stay. New owners were very nice and tried to please. What was a great poolside bar with good drink selections as well as food choices, turned into a bartender […] that hadn't a clue how to make a simple drink. We were also told that nothing on the drink or food menu was available because of the ownership change. They were apologetic but did not appear to have any food/bar tending experience at all. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and I would go back again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The pool areas were lovely; especially the lush tropical plantings. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful but there was something strange going on with the adjoining bar "Pearl's Patio". The day I arrived, there was a friendly and competent bartender there and I enjoyed a couple of well-made drinks and some pleasant conversation. Subsequently, however, […] there were no more bartenders and the hotel staff manning the area behind the bar apologized for being unable to figure out how to make drinks. This went on for two days straight. There may have been a turnover in personnel or ownership going on but it seems to me there must be no shortage of possible substitute bartenders available in Key West. "Close to Duvall St, Southernmost point"
The room was nice, bed comfortable, could use a little updating and maintainace, my room needed counter space in bathroom. The only parking was on the street and two blocks away. since Key West is not a driving town, once I found a spot it was not a problem. However finding a spot caused some anxiety.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Room at a Good Price"
Hotel was clean and priced extremely well for the area. Its a 2-3 minute walk away from southern most point marker. If you take the conch train tour they drop you off by the five guys restaurant which is about a five minute walk to the hotel. The hotel offers two pools and a hot tub open 24 hours. Their is a free breakfast in the morning with cereal, […] hard boiled eggs, muffins, and bagels. It was the best price I could find in the heart of Key West. We found it to be quiet, and a safe easy walk to the bar area on the East side of Duval. The only thing we didn't love was the bed, which was a little uncomfortable. "Nice hotel and people, clean, 1 block from beach"
Outstanding experience, hotel employees very generous, nice and helpful, clean rooms, 2 pools, free breakfast, multiple restaurants in area, located on the Atlantic side yet close enogh to activities....really can't say enough about how welcome you feel.Genuine Expedia guest review
The location is nice because you're right by Duvall. But the room is incredibly small. The bar area wasn't open a lot. We came back on Saturday night wanting a nightcap (it was only 9) and they were closed? The staff was great though - very very helpful!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is really a B&B not a hotel. The staff is very friendly but if you're over five feel tall, ask for a room not on the 3d floor with a sloping ceiling. The sloping roof ceiling makes it very hard to navigate the room which because of only one tiny window is very dark too. And expect to park on the street. But the location is good, the place is very […] tidy, and the breakfast is okay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Close to Duval Street - on the southern side which is not noisy. A bit of a walk to the main action on Duval. The main problem with our room was a noisy air conditioner that had one speed - high. Other than that the room was good and we liked the location.Genuine Expedia guest review
This is our second stay at Pearls Key West. The location is good, at the quiet end of Duval St. The hotel is older, and could use an update. The rooms are small. On the other hand, the pools were small but well maintained. The small restaurant/bar area was convenient. The staff was attentive and helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good pick for Key West"
Awesome staff. Great location with a fun atmosphere.Genuine Expedia guest review
"close to Duvall Street"
It was very expensive. We had a 3rd floor room, which was ok. We don't mind climbing stairs with luggage, but the room was hot and stuffy. I came looking for Jimmy Buffett's laid-back vacation, but I didn't find it. The gal who checked us in seemed annoyed with us, even while being very friendly to someone who came in that she knew and she chatted up […] with. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pearl's is a real "Gem""
Great location just off Duvall St., beautiful pool area, right next to great little French cafe. Pearl's even had bikes to rent so I was able to get around Key West easily. Friendly staff who went out of their way to help. I would definitely stay at Pearl's on my next trip to Key West.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"First and Last Time Here"
My wife and I read many of the reviews and thought that the size of the room was the biggest concern for most but we figured since it was just for the wkend it wouldn't be too bad. The rooms are small not a big deal if it's not a long trip, except the shower, toilet area, and ceiling on 3rd floor. My head was close to the ceiling due to the slant of […] the ceiling, "i'm 5'11". showers and toilet area are small, no space to move around. The place runs on central air so no way to control the temperature and no way to close the vents. So it' was about 65 outside and the rooms were even colder. So we didn't sleep very well due to rooms being so cold and blankets not being heavy. Building is smoke free but they have these decks on each floor that people can smoke on so needless to say we woke up to our room smelling like smoke (were both none smokers and hate the stuff). Hotel only has 4 parking spaces and they charge you an additional fee/day to park there which we did not know before we booked this place. They tell you where there is free street parking but don't tell you there are only 4 spaces of free parking so your forced to pay the fee/day or park on the street for $2/hr for a max of 10 hrs at a time. The hotel is right off Duval St so its close to everything but on the south end so it's a nice walk to sloppy joe's and they other hot spots. (i'd guess1/2-3/4 of a mile). We would not suggest this hotel for longer than a wkend. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Thanks goodness it was just one night."
We needed a hotel for one night to cover our early arrival in Key West, so picked this place off the internet knowing it wasn't a four star hotel but thinking it must be an OK place to be able to charge $350 a night for a queen. Another lesson learned! My lack of research got me into a place with no available parking and a room barely larger than the […] small queen bed it contained. The room was clean but shabby. The hallway carpeting looked like it came out of a train station. The staff was courteous and let us store our bags the next day until our other accommodations were available, but, other than that, the only positive thing about this experience was that it only lasted one night. "Nice place to stay in Key West- LGBT Friendly"
I have stayed here before about 13 years ago. It was a LGBT, mostly woman's establishment. I expected it to still be - I was wrong. However, still a nice and friendly place to stay. Expect to be around older straight couples, but expect to be accepted as nobody blinked an eye with me and my girlfriend being ourselves. I still feel a bit pricey for what […] you get - but hey - it's Key West ! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice room, nifty little bar by the pool"
Room was comfortable, convenient to duval st. Their was a scooter/electric car rental place less then a block away so we could plug and park overnight. Otherwise parking can be difficult. Nice little bar with drink specials each night, nice place to relax before we hit Duval st.Genuine Expedia guest review
Really liked Pearl's. Very quiet with no kids. Only the street noise and early morning trucks caused some annoyance. Great pools & hot tub. Nice, big, clean room & bathroom (had the King Suite). Other friends had a standard Queen room, and were disappointed in the size of room & bath. Rates via Hotels.com were fair & competitive. Rates still outrageous […] overall, but were no worse at Pearl's than other nearby places on KW. The continental breakfast was simple and basic, and the same every day (we stayed 4 nights). But they have very good coffee. Only real complaint was the bar/lunch grill. Food was OK, service was terrible. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Overpriced with terrible service"
We stayed one night on March 27. There was no parking spot and we had to pay $25 and feed meters to park in the street. No one offered to help us carry three large bags up a narrow staircase to the second floor. The room was a large suite in the front but the air conditioning was going full blast and could not be adjusted or turned off from either thermostat […] in the bedroom or sitting room. The temperature was set at 18C (about 65F) and the woman at the front desk said she would get someone to check it while we went to dinner. Nothing had changed when we got back and she admitted it could not be done as it is all centrally controlled so she offered us extra blankets. My wife still woke up with a headache and sore throat. The tiny backyard with pool and bar hardly justifies the rates. On the plus side, the neighborhood is quiet and safe albeit somewhat far from all the action in Key West. There must be much better choices for the money. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Pearl's was great except for one thing - the mattress was really lousy. Very soft.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not bad for the price"
Stayed two nights. Woman who checked us in was a new employee, not knowledgable about the hotel services (wake up call?) or things to do. Room had a queen bed, and just enough room to walk around it. Pools, hot tub and decks were nice. Breakfast okay. About a mile walk from the tourist area.Genuine Expedia guest review
The room was on the third floor and you couldn't stand up in over half of the room because of the eves. My walk in closet is bigger. It was difficult for two people to move. Bed was noisy and uncomfortable. Beware if you need to park as they charge per hour for parking.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great adults only place, very relaxing."
Ryan the bartender was fantastic!! Had a wonderful time, not the biggest rooms, but who cares, you're in Key West you can sleep when you get home. Continental breakfast was great to get you through the day. Definitely will stay againGenuine Expedia guest review
