We really enjoyed our stay at the Whale View Manor Guest House! This bed and breakfast is very cute and nicely decorated, the staff was friendly, breakfast was great, and we really enjoyed the decor of our room (each room is different, we had room 2) and the view of the ocean. We were only here for 1 night, but would have liked to have stayed longer!

I travel more than 100,000 miles per year and have done so for the last 20 years. During that time I've stayed in all types of hotels, good, bad and unbearable. This was the first time I've ever stayed at a Guest Lodge. The property is lovely, the room was clean and as advertised. The owner went well out of her way to accomodate everyone staying there. Breakfast cooked to order, providing transport to some of those who needed it and she was fun to be around. Her enthusiasm and zeal for her business and country is obvious and enjoyable. I had a rental car and it was necessary for me to get from the property to the convention center. Taxi would not have been an option. It was living in your own house while on business, maybe better because someone else was cooking you breakfast and cleaning your room.

Everyone was extremely helpful kind and considerate. tandi was amazing and went above and beyond to see that everything was perfectly organized. A shuttle was at the airport which helped me feel more settled.

Accommodation was spacious, well appointed. the tower room was big, had plenty of cupboard space but a very small bathroom, just a shower basin and... toilet. Although positioned in a suburb, the road noise was excessive during rush hour. They actually have a great pool entertainment area, I wasn't told about it and discovered it just before I left.
