Surprisingly charming little hotel by the river. A little difficult to find at first but once you are there, you are transported away from the hectiness of Chiangmai.

Spent and enjoyable 2 days at Baannamping towards the end of an 8 day cycling trip. I found the staff to all be very accommodating and happy to help. A nice place to relax and unwind.

If you are looking for peace and seclusion this is the place. It's a beautiful little resort on the river. The staff are wonderful, the food great, and the ambience so peaceful. The downside.......there is nothing at all within walking distance. You must call a taxi to go anywhere.

The owners were very welcoming on our arrival and staff were very nice. Reading the other reviews most guests seem to have had a similar experience. The bungalows are very spacious and clean. The garden is well kept and I love the proximity to the river. The food on the menu is very nice as well although maybe a bit pricey. If I want to stay objective […] I need to point out the following: A one way journey into town will cost you 400bath. A similar journey in Bangkok might cost you 100 bath. We had dinner at one of the market stalls for 2 people with drinks for 110 bath and bought a large rice paper umbrella for 70 bath to give you an idea about the taxi fare... Although the main asset of the hotel would be the remoteness we did not experience the peace and calm we expected. Across the river a house/building is under construction. I had a banging headache by the time the builders left the construction site. Some people in the area also felt it necessary to increase the volume of their music during the day. After 6PM it became all quiet though. Although I love the hotel I don't believe it would suit everyone. Read more

Its an excellent hotel located 25 minutes away from the downtown. It has a nice pool, a great restaurant with thai and international food, and the staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very nice and quiet. The hotel staff is very friendly and attentive. The biggest negative to us was the location as it is about 2km from the edge of the city. You can borrow a bike to ride to the local market. We spent 1 night here and enjoyed our stay, but would have preferred to be closer to the city.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Man muss sich halt nur vor Augen führen, das die Anlage ca. 18 km von Chiang Mai entfernt ist. Aber mit einem Motorbike oder Auto ist das kein Problem. Die Anlage ( Umgebung ) entschädigt das vollkommen. Es ist eine sehr schöne Anlage mit mehreren Bungalows direkt am Fluss unter uralten Bäumen. Die Bungalows sind so ausgerichtet, […] das jeder Blick auf den Fluss hat. Das täglich Frühstück ist ok. Der Betreiber der ANlage und seine Frau sind sehr nett, sowie auch alle Angestellten. Fahrräder oder Kanus können kostenlos ausgeliehen werden und wie gesagt mit Motorbike oder Auto, können alle Attraktionen bequem erreicht werden. 酒店离市中心30分钟车程，靠近TAWAI 手工艺品市场。小河边上，周围都是芭蕉树和稻田，人烟稀少。如果去清迈的目的是旅游看庙，就不要住这里了。进城每趟TAXI费就要400泰铢。开摩托也要40分钟。客房都是独立小木屋，各种虫子很多，蚂蚁爬到床上很寻常。晚上蚊子多，空调很老旧，好在网络还可用。风景真的不错，早餐简单舒适，服务很热情，适合不赶时间，不喜欢城市夜生活，会享受田园风光的游客。

아마 이곳을 이용하는 한국인은 매우 적을겁니다, 그래서 잘알려진 곳이 아니기도 하죠,치앙마이 공항에서 택시로 한 40분 정도 떨어져있으며 자연경관이 매우 아름답읍니다, 강가주변이라 푹 쉬기도 넘 좋구요, 특히 아침에 강을 바라보고 먹는 식사란,,,리조트 분위기는 한적하면서 조용합니다, 조용하고 한적한 자연과 함께하고픈 분들에게 딱 어울리는 곳이네요,
