The Cathedral Hotel is centrally located and the staff were marvelous. Our family enjoyed our visit to the town and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. There is no parking, which can't be helped because of the location, but they gave clear instructions on town lots not too far away. We had a good dinner and full breakfast at the hotel and would be happy to stay there again.

Immaculate, most charming, a long way to go from London but well worth it. We would stay there again, it is a total wounderful surprice. I would recomment it to all my friends.Love it!!!

I only stayed at Wisteria for one night, I was doing a short trip to Stonehenge, so I wasn't there very long, but I really like the accommodation. It is a little outside of town, but it is actually pretty easily accessible by bus, the 7x, which I did not realize when I came in so I took a cab. Do your homework beforehand. I had a single room, and it was a nice size and good shower/facilities. There is no TV in the room, but there was a nice lounge area with a TV, games, tea kettle, et al. Felicity made the stay very easy and I can't say enough about her: I left my phone in my room and had a very short period of time before I was going to be leaving London. She worked with me by phone and email to overnight the phone to my London hotel before I left the UK. Highly recommend!

We were so happy with our stay at Hunters Lodge, it is a bit off the beaten path if you are traveling to Bath or Stonehedge, but it is beautiful country in Wincanton. Hunters lodge was great, staff was personable, very accommodating and kind. They upgraded us to a larger room without charging, got us a crib for our 2 year old, and went out of their way to make sure our son was happy in their restaurant. The dinner and breakfast (included) was great, we couldn't have been happier. The animals were fun for my son to see, even in snow. If the weather was warmer their is a great playground for your kids! The best part was the great value!

"Good Quality B&B"
We stayed here for a one night stay after a friends party nearby and found it a good quality B&B. Our host Sue was very welcoming and made an excellent breakfast on Sunday morning, enough to keep us going for the long drive home. The guest accommodation (2 rooms) are at the back of the house with a private breakfast room and conservatory which was a […] very comfortable place to sit with a cuppa. The room itself was quite small but well equipped with most of the things a B&B room should have (plenty of clothes hangers, coat hooks for outdoor coats, hair dryer, plenty of tea & coffee, a choice of soft or firm pillows). Just a few slight niggles include the bathroom is quite small, the sink is very small, no soap (only handwash and shower gel) and the bed is very firm, OK if you are used to it but a bit too firm for us. "Good break"
The owner Sue was very friendly, provided a beautiful breakfast & one night when we were really tired even cooked us dinner. The B&B is a bit out of the way 10 ks south of Salisbury, however the rooms are on the ground floor and there is parking space.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Greenbank B&B"
Absolutely lovely little B&B close to Salisbury. There are only two guest rooms (both en suite) so it is very quiet. Beautiful sunroom off the breakfast area is a great place to sit and enjoy the garden. Stayed in king suite, had a large flat screen tv and free wifi. The owners are absolutely delightful, and went out of their way to write out driving […] directions to Stonehenge & Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey). Stonehenge was about an hour away.
