The location of the hotel is unbeatable. We could hear the bells of the abbey and look out to see the parade grounds. I was initially concerned that a BW may be a big box, but they have sensitively maintained much of the character of the wonderful old hotel while incorporating modern amenities like a full, modern, spacious bathroom. We opted for the breakfast inclusive package and found it to be robust and offering many options. We set out on foot and did the whole city from this great central location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which was in an idylic country town which afforded great access to local sites such as Bath. Family was an absolute charm with homey rooms with comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast.... Would definitely stay there again....

I booked the Alexandra for a business trip - my primary objective was to find a spacious, modern room in a country setting...not something easily achieved in the UK. I was really pleased - the room was perfect, the people were friendly, the restaurant and bar were really good - and we were minutes away from English countryside and beautiful sights.

We had trouble finding the Bath Hilton due to one-way streets and traffic congestion, but it is close to the Abbey, Roman baths and Pump Room, so it's worth the trouble. Two negatives: internet access was available only in the lobby and parking costs approx. $22 per night. Positives are the full breakfast in the restaurant with a fantastic view and, as mentioned, hotel's location.

Situated in Bradford-on-Avon, Still Meadow is close to Quoins Organic Vineyard, Iford Manor and the Peto Garden, and Avonleigh Organic Vineyard. Also nearby are American Museum in Britain and University of Bath.

"Still Meadow"
Wonderful place. Awesome Breakfast and a very comfortable room. The host was personable as was her dogs. Wish I could have stayed longer. I highly reccomend this place for anyone wanting a stay around the area but not wanting city headaches.

Sue and Ed really nice people, most comfortable bed and room with terrific breakfast selection. A bit off the beaten track but worth finding.

Highly recommended. I have stayed here for 2 days (19 - 21/12/2011) with my family. Warmly welcome and environment just like my home. However, the location is far from city (about 15 minute from Bath)
