This was our first stay at the Ambassador. We were impressed. The hotel itself was fabulous. The decor is very beautiful and elegant. Service from employees was top notch, restaurant food was wonderful. We arrived a little early, so they had to rush to get our rooms ready (they had them booked incorrectly). So our room was not completely clean, needed vacuuming, and glass was smeared. But overall the room was tidy and very nicely furnished. I am a light sleeper, so the worst part of this hotel was the noise. Although the location is convenient, there was much loud banging about every hour or so throughout the night. I was awakened at least 6 times during the night. There is construction going on next door, so I don't know if that was the cause for the noise, if they were working through the night. The street noise was also noticeable, especially when semi-trucks went through. But I would give this hotel a second chance, as I felt like I was staying in New York and not Wichita, based on the atmosphere of the hotel. Very posh and comfortable. Perhaps the noise will be less on our next stay.

And the bed was hard as a rock! But the price was right, and the room was clean. It worked good enough for visiting the family in Augusta, and we weren't in the room very much.

Generally ok, but the bed was very hard. Çleanliness was ok and the breakfast was just standard quick stuff which doesn't work if you're diabetic.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful--I can't say enough about him. He was even kind and patient as we asked for directions. The room was clean, and the cleaning service during the day was excellent. The location is very good, as 400/Kellogg turns into a freeway just a little ways west of the motel. And of course, the waffles were great!

The comforter had blood on it but bed was completely changed. The shower curtain was moldy but again was changed when brought to the managements attention. Second day they took the hand soap at the sink and did not leave a new one. Thankfully we had one in our travel bags so we could wash our hands.
