The condition of the barn was first class with spotlessly clean rooms and excellent breakfast. We were unfortunate to have no hot water to shower as other guests had used it, which was a big inconvenience as it ran off an emersion tank. So no shower after a long drive was not good. Although a small B & B, rather than a commercial hotel, this was delightfully relaxed. The "deluxe suite" turned out to be a self contained holiday home on the side of this historic and characterful building, with its own access. This meant not only a very comfortable double bedroom and an excellently appointed en suite bathroom, complete with bath […] and separate shower, but more importantly a very pleasant sitting room and a well serviced kitchen. It really was a wonderful home from home for someone who spends so many nights on the road in individual hotel rooms. I would certainly use it again. BTW breakfast was delivered to the suite exactly at the agreed time, with menu specifically as ordered the night before. As a bonus there is a pub/restaurant less than 200 yards up the road for an evening meal should you want one. A wonderful stay and I am actually looking forward to the next time I have to be in North West Kent for work. (Of course it would be equally suited to a longer stay for those on holiday!) Read more

We made the booking about 7pm of the evening we wanted to stay. Andrew and Leslie were very helpful in making sure everything was ready. The accommodation was fantastic and will be a real treat for anyone staying for one night or a week. The full English breakfast was perfect as well as the choice of breakfasts you could have. Everything was perfect […] and I cannot praise or recommend this little gem enough. We ate out at The Bull Inn, about 200 yards down the road, and the food there was another element that made our one night away truly wonderful. Great atmosphere, great beer and great food. Read more
