      After a few nightmare nights at other hotels, Alma Di Alghero Hotel was such a comfort. Room are clean & furniture style is unembellished but spacious with nice storage, designer shower, and balcony has chairs and narrow view of ocean. Parking lot costs 5 Euros/night but plenty of street parking for free. Beach location could have been noisy, but our room was very quiet. Service very friendly and helpful. Breakfast variety wasn't huge, but tasty, complimentary fruit also in the room.

      Mario really made us feel very comfortable. Alghero is a nice relaxing spot. with awesome seafood.

      In the heart of Alghero's old town, a charming place to stay. One suggestion is to turn off the heating unit at night, as it was abit noisy! Pillows were hard, but we probably could have asked for others, as the host was very accomodating!We will definately return and recommend the place to our many friends. Host was very generous with the breakfast items and this room was truly a delight! Excellent value, as we went in the off season!

      The Angedras (whose name we had a hard time remembering until a cabbie pointed out that it's "Sardegna" spelled backwards) was a fine choice for an Oct wknd. Friendly, patient front desk staff. Comfortable bed. Ocean breezes. Spacious bathroom. A two-block walk to the water. Even English-language cable. Just two negatives: the breakfast was pretty thin, and the weak, old shutter locks made it hard to keep the windows open during the night because the wind would slam them closed -- a real shame in a town known for beaches.

      The family that owns this bed and breakfast lives right across the hall, and was very helpful. Very sweet and understanding people; accommodations are basic but clean, safe and conveniently located. I recommend this b&b very much!

    Well maintained hotel with 2 great tennis courts and a good pool. Room was a decent size. Excellent food (only brekkie and dinner served off peak) Need a car as it's about 4km into town/the beach. The silver lining is we rented a bright pink Fiat 500 as a result - very fun! Also - I found it quite strange that they do not serve food throughout the […] day and the staff had a right cob on when we brought out own from the local supermarket (just snacks) saying it was a hotel and not a residence (which if it were the case you would presume served food during the day). On a similar point - they also offered no ironing facily in the room which was quite frustrating when you are in a rush to leave since you are forced to send your clothes away just to have them ironed. Again - the staff were not very accomodating in this instance. I would however recommend this hotel as a lovely retreat in spite of the above (just be prepared). Read more
