We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Our room was as advertised, exotic, and very high-tech. We loved the design of the common spaces (hallways, bar, dining room). The front desk service was exceptional. One young gentleman assisted us at length to find our wallet, which we had lost on the train into town. Wi-fi worked perfectly. We had drinks in the bar […] off of the lobby, which was pleasant. The only negative was the restaurant service. Some of the waiters seemed either untrained or just unprofessional. The food was creative and very good. However, we were served dishes with many varied ingredients with no explanation as to what they were. One waiter appeared to be very disgruntled and seemed to take out his unhappiness on us by abruptly placing our plates on the table and disappearing.The restaurant also is a bit pricey. Read more

The hotel is in a very good location. We walked to the square, found a very nice restaurant on the way to the Guggenheim Museum. Our room is very spacious and smells good. The bathroom is very clean and lots of room to move around. We had a very pleasant stay.

Location is good for walking around downtown Bilbao, but not to arrive driving; we had a hard time looking for the hotel because of traffic, and because you have to drive into a pedestrian street to get to the car entrance. This was our first time in Bilbao and we picked this hotel based on other people's reviews. We were very happy with our experience. The location was central, the staff spoke English and were very friendly and tried hard to be helpful. The room was modern, spacious and very clean and the shower was excellent. A very modern hotel, but just a bit too much form and not enough function, especially in the bathroom. The shower was modern in design, but there was no lip on the shower floor to retain the water, so there was quite a bit of spillage on the floor. Otherwise, this was a good choice in hotels.

Dining facilities in hotel limited. Room service is pretty much the only option for dinners. Business hours for the restaurant in the hotel is unpredictable. Very difficult to control the temperature of the room. It is somehow restricted for adjustments.

This hotel is unbelievable value for money. Everything looks like new. Fab location. Rooms are well sound proofed, and easily the comfiest hotel bed I've ever slept on. All for the price of a Premier Inn. Only complaint is the aircon/underfloor heating is set at minimum 17deg C., the hotel staff couldn't change it, so your room is like a Bangkok sauna. […] Our party had 4 rooms on 3 different floors, and everyone had their windows fully open all day and night ..... can't be very economical for the hotel's energy bill ! Didn't eat there, we prefer to be a bit more adventurous, but heard breakfast is fine. Oh, and as for the Guggenheim , just walk round the outside, it's great with really nice atmosphere. Loved everything about this place. It was a relaxing, calming experience. The outdoor lounge was really comfortable and secluded. The indoor underground parking was appreciated. This is a charming, up-market and very comfortable hotel close to the Golden Mile, the railway station, major shops and restaurants, and despite the handy location, it remains quiet and private. The staff could not have been more helpful and I was sorry not to be staying longer. I will definitely book this hotel again.

All in all a decent hotel in a very good location for most things Bilbao has to offer. Only downsides being the Wifi coverage is very patchy with quite a few blind spots and breakfast is a little overpriced. But would use again.

The hotel is very central and only a 10min walk to Guggenheim. There is a supermarket on the corner in the department store. The hotel is exactly what you would expect for a 4 star hotel and the staff are very friendly and happy to help. Only no kettle in room for tea or coffee. Overall had a great stay in Bilbao.

Hotel room was very modern, comfortable, clean and, surprisingly, being on a main road in the centre of town, was quiet. Staff were all very helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was not included. Location was just off the main drag and a leisurely 10 mins walk into the old town / 15 mins walk from the Guggenheim. We took a look at the gym (were only there […] one night and were not seriously thinking of using it, but just in case it was raining for something to do). it was down in the basement and a little bit pokey, so we were not tempted. When we arrived (mid-afternoon Saturday) the car park was already full, and we were advised to park in a street opposition which was free for the rest of the weekend. Luckily we found a space, but I would imagine during the rest of the week, it would be a lot busier, spaces would be harder to come by and would involve charges. Read more

It might be stretching it to call this place 'boutique' but it is certainly a tastefully done, clean and comfortable place to stay. Lovely new hotel, but felt more like a posh premier inn, no tea and coffe in rooms, had to pay 4.50 euros for two cups! Great free wifi a real bonus, staff at reception very helpfully and recommended a day trip. Breakfast is 16.50 euros, I would personally skip at that price. All in all a great hotel. Well done all the staff !!!

HOTEL IS IN THE MIDDLE OF A GIANT HOUSING ESTATE, SURROUNDED BY FLATS.A 15 MINUTE BUS RIDE INTO THE TOWN CENTRE EVERY HALF AN HOUR AND THEY CHARGE 14€ TO PARK OVERNIGHT IN THE HOTEL CAR PARK. Very clean, efficient, business-class hotel close to the train station, the old town, and to the Plaza Mayor (the latter handy for shopping and for catching a bus to the airport -- the bus stop is in front of the Ritz). The Guggenheim is about a 15 min walk away (towards the waterfront), where there is a lovely running/walking path. hôtel bien plaçé : lez chambres sont agréables (grande) ainsi que la SDB. Bonne isolation, ce qui fait que l'on entend rien du tout des bruits extérieurs et intérieurs. Le service est correct.
