The room was lovely, comfortable, and scrupulously clean. Service was awesome! Many restaurants were nearby offering a varied dining experience. They also had a great workout worm and pool! The Wingate in Frisco was close to all main roads and shopping so it was very easy to get around. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, especially the bed. Housekeeping did a good job of cleaning the room everyday & supplying fresh towels everyday. We have stayed in other hotels at higher rates that were not as comfortable as this room & hotel.The […] area around the hotel looks like potential development didn't occur and its not exactly an attractive spot. Also, the hotel needs to do something about signage. The hotel is set back from the road and there are no signs on either side to help you spot it. The worst thing for me at this hotel is that it was extremely warm through out the entire building so I kept my AC on but maybe that is just me. I was disapointed that they said they discontinued their afternoon cocktail and snack service. This was one of the reasons I picked this hotel for over a weeks stay with my husband and two kids.
