Bay Gardens Inn - Gros Islet

I traveled as a single (mostly couples and a few families) (there were only 4 singles the week I was there) and the staff was so accommodating and took extra care that I had a great vacation. And I did.

Our stay at CBV was a good one. We rented a car which came in handy to drive around the island to visit different beaches etc. Our villa was spacious and clean. My wife and I had the fortunate luck of occupying the entire villa by ourselves. The front desk was fairly quick to respond to our requests (circuit breaker broke, couple other minor things). The amenities are great. Everything on the compound, pool, beach and front desk, is all within walking distance. The location of the hotel itself is a bit hidden, but locals are more than willing to help with directions. We found locals to be very friendly. Overall, CBV is 4.5 out of 5 stars.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Chocolat! We loved our beautiful room with a view of the Pitons every morning! The food was incredible and the chef infuses chocolate in many of the recipes. We only worried that we would not be there long enough to try all of the entrees. The staff was so friendly and we really enjoyed touring the chocolate plantation and making our own chocolate!

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Our room had a balcony overlooking the water and Pitons. It was gorgeous. Beds weren't the comfiest, but certainly clean. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Nice hotel, staff friendly and always professional. Met at check in with rum punch. Food was good at the restaurants, one buffet style, one snack, and three more that say finner dinning( these three need reservation). Make reservations at the other restaurants early as they book up. Kayaks, hobie's, water ski, all included. There are many excursions available that will pick you up from the hotel. We rented a car and did some stuff ourselves, caution drivers! roads are narrow and have many sharp turns around the island . So the bad now: this was a working vacation for me, there is no business center or access to a printer. I had to print some confidential paperwork and was told to email it to hotel so they could print, obviously not acceptable. In these modern times everyone has a computer/tablet/cell phone there was only two spots on the whole resort that had connection to the internet. By the pool bar and the lobby. Problem was when more than a few logged on the internet slowed to a point that it didn't work, so many guests were having problems that it was obviously a huge problem. So overall I would recommend this hotel and the price here on hotels.com was great.
