I really enjoyed this hotel. As you can see from the pictures, the rooms and overall hotel decor are quite modern. My room had plenty of space, and the wifi was free with a strong signal. It has nice, secure parking. We checked out and toured Lux City and then drove to Trier. It was nice to have access to the self parking in the back of the hotel. It was shopping Monday when we were there...quite an experience! The room was quiet and the bed was good.

Checkin was easy and the staff was friendly. The room was nice and looked down on the street. We chose to have breakfast at the McDonalds next door. It was a lovely walk to the tourist bus tour that we wanted to take, with lots of pretty things along the way. The staff recommended a wonderful Luxembourg style restaurant.

The fact that is was an American chain (we are Americans) and somewhat upscale was my rationale for selecting it. We were coming from a week in Amsterdam and several days in Brussels. Our hotel in Amsterdam was overpriced and dreadful, the one in Brussels was cozy and reasonable. The Park Inn was very modern but very sterile and lacking charm. The location […] was noisy, we had the window open a bit and all night long, the street people hanging at the train station were hooting and hollering and the police dog assigned to the train station barked nonstop. We were not explained by the desk clerk that we should consider buy the breakfast option when we initially checked in or the cost would increase 40% if we bought breakfast on the same day. It was not worth the $22. Luxembourg is not really a place needing a long stay, its really a day trip however since we had not been there before, it was a learning experience. We would not probably stay in Luxembourg again and definitely not at the Park Inn. Read more

The hotel is accessable via lift from main road.The internal lift is a little confusing if you haven't used these types of lift before! You have to walk in swipe your door card then select the floor that you want to get to. To be honest they did mention this on reception but I was still in shock about the free room upgrade they had given me!

Great stay overall, though I'd be cautious about paying for breakfast. If it's not included in your room rate, you won't discover until later that they charge 19 Euros for it. A good spread, but all the hot items were cold (eggs, sausage, bacon). Next day we spent considerably less at the McDonald's just outside. :)

Great hotel. Great location. The manager was excellent. The girls on duty weren't very helpful though, and the girl serving breakfast was quite sullen. Initial impression at reception was very good. Tom (?) was helpful and offered to keep our luggage as we arrived early and the room wasn't ready. He also volunteered helpful information about the city and places to eat. Room was large, bright & clean, as was bathroom. No noise from neighbouring rooms or corridor. Excellent breakfast buffet. Great location. Friendly staff. Problems with breakfast details via Expedia booking, which was promptly sorted out. Great breakfast selection with fresh orange juice. Over all Hotel was good apart from unable to turn off the Air con in the bedroom, and the staff in reception/bar didn't know how much a beer was from the tap, didn't offer to find out and had to buy a bottled beer. Tables in lounge were messy, had to wonder how long the mess had to be around before it was cleaned up.
