Excellent place to stay. Friendly staff, nice rooms. Fuse blew out in our original room right before we checked in from the previous guest and they upgraded us to a bigger room and also waived the resort fee for the inconvenience.

The staff helped us with tour booking and transportation. The price is a bit steep, but the location is well worth it. Less than 15 minutes from the airport by car and only a couple of blocks from ocean blvd and south beach. The best surprise was how quiet it was relative to the neighborhood.

I booked this room specifically because the bed was incredible. With all the partying day and night, the bed is all I really cared about. The room was clean and modern. The only problem was there was no hair dryer and to use it from the front desk you had to sign for it and wait sometimes. We just got back from a wonderful stay at Villa Italia and still have big smiles on our faces. This litte gem was just perfect for our stay in Miami - very clean and comfortable rooms with a 40" lcd tv, and felt like brand new. We stayed in a superior room, and couldn't be more pleased! High quality towels, bedwear and shower products all around... Staff […] was amazingly service minded, both before arrival with tips on where to spend New Years Eve and local info, as well as on arrival and during our whole stay. Smiling, friendly and relaxed - which is how we prefer it to be. Yes, there is no full breakfast - juice, bagels, yoghurts and cereal plus coffee - but that was never an issue for us, as we like to go to different places and try them out. And for a lighter breakfast on a lazy day, it works just fine. No pool, but the beach is just two blocks away, so who cares? Location is great - a little quieter than most of Washington Av. and still within walking distance of everything. The SBL bus stop is right outside the gate of the hotel and for a quarter you can ride around SoBe to your hearts delight. We'll be back next year! Read more

Stay at Villa Italia for 1 night last week. It is a small but nice and clean hotel in South Beach. Excellent service and convenience location. Bus stop is just in front of hotel, and only 2 blocks from the beach. Beach towel is provided without charge. Overall a nice stay.

The staff was genuinely friendly and professional and did their best to get us reservations and make suggestions of places to eat. This is the first time I have stayed at a "Green" hotel, and to be honest, I appreciated […] their dedication to conservation once I understood how to work all of the systems in the room (card key needed to activate electricity). Shops, Restaurants und der Strand sind in max. 7-8 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Hotellet er nesten helt nytt og er meget pent. Rommene har moderne interiør og de som jobber på hotellet er utrolig hjelpsomme og imøtekommende. Stort pluss for rene rom og meget god daglig rengjøring. Skal jeg tilbake til Miami er det ikke tvil om at jeg skal bo på dette hotellet igjen!

Les points négatifs sont l'isolement entre les chambres et les étages : La porte de la chambre avait un jour sur le bas, qui laissait passer la lumière mais […] surtout le bruit du couloir, et le claquement des portes de autres voyageurs et surtout de la porte d'accès a l'extérieur. Le plus gênant était le planché entre notre chambre et la chambre a l'étage. Le moindre pas était très gênant. Certaines nuits ont été très courtes a cause du bruits. Die Lage ist gut und recht ruhig. Zum Strand 400m. Die Zimmer einfach, modern und sauber. Das Frühstück (zum vergessen) sehr einfach : Kaffee ausm Automat und Plastik Geschirr. Kommen Sie mit einem grossen Auto sonst ist das Parken teurer als der Leihwagen (28$). Aber dennoch Hotel GUT und Personal hilfsbereit und freundlich.
