近くに良いレストランが沢山有り、ビーチも近い。前回はホテルに泊ったのですが、今回のヴィラのほうが広くてキッチンもあり開放的で住んでいる様な感じです。また、ホテルのプールやレストランも使えるので便利。Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Vacation time in Del Mar"
We exchanged into the Villa L'Auberge on a timeshare and stayed in the villas. The view was awesome. The nearby beach was great. The two resturants on the beach were wonderful. The cleaning people were great. Everything about the timeshare was excellent EXCEPT they allowed smoking on the balcony. The unit next to us smoked CIGARS at sunset on the balcony. We view the sunset inside 3 nights, then went to the resurants on the beach for the other nights. The walk thru the hotel property down to the beach was beautiful. The hotel itself was beautiful. Very well done for eating, outside and inside bar, and the pool. I would go back in a heartbeat.
"Nice Music and Close to the Beach"

The location is the very best. You are just steps from both the beach and high end shopping. It is across the street from a complex of stores, bars and fine dining. You can also walk a short distance to the iconic Bully's steakhouse and bar, which I recommend. This is within walking distance of the Del Mar Race Track too. Please be aware that the Amtrak runs through town, and you will most certainly hear it until it stops at a given hour at night. Call the hotel for details on the train. You can even take the train to this spot, which is lot's of fun.

Beautiful City, Lovely Well Maintained Resort, Excellent Service - walk to the Beach, walk to Town - highly recommend this location. As noted by other people - this is very close to Train tracks for the Surf Rider - several trips per day. Suggestion - BEFORE YOU GO ON VACATION CHECK A MAP FOR WHERE YOU ARE STAYING AND WHAT IS NEARBY... very helpful and will avoid disappointing trips. We will be going back and are considering a purchase of a unit there. Thank you - happy Travels to all..!!

The property, the setting, location and the time of the year that we were able to enjoy the resort was perfect. The access to management was horrifically horrible. We have called management about two problems that we encountered and still haven't received a call back. The bed was so hard that we were compelled to leave a day early, we simply could not sleep well at night. The grout around the bath tub had some very large long cracks. This will undoubtedly prove to be very detrimental for the structure in the near future and a serious health issue. Mold and other forms of bacteria will form shortly.
"Great Location - Especially if you like trains at night"

We stayed in one of the timeshare units north of the main hotel. It was tastefully decorated, but a little tired in my opinion. It has the "bones" of a first class unit, but again, it is starting to show its age and some of the replacement pieces definitely look "low cost". For example, how the very low end phone was barely mounted on the wall, the bedroom fan that rotated out of round, the closet built-in that didn't slide properly.... not big ticket items, but enough to say that the overall quality is headed in the opposite direction of the very upscale hotel portion of the resort. All that said, the unit and the resort as a whole is located in close proximity to the railroad tracks. This means that you will witness multiple train passings during the day and even throughout the night. We stayed for 3 nights until we decided that we needed a vacation from our vacation and headed home for a good night's sleep. I think the resort has done whatever they can do to mitigate the noise, but its just a fact that when a long line to train cars passes at 2am, you are going to hear it - no doubt!! The Hotel itself and the ground, lobby and restaurant is beautiful and very upscale. I think that experiencing the resort for an event is great, as the service and view are top notch. However, our extended stay turned into more of a battle to hang in there than a relaxing vacation.
"Big Disappointment: Beware"

Brought my family to SoCal for a week long vacation thinking we would spend time on the beach nearby and visit Sea World and Legoland. Was expecting some quiet time a this place, but experienced the complete opposite. The place is small and overpriced, we had a 650 sq/ft one bedroom, I was told it could accommodate 4 people, it was barely enough space for 2 adults and 2 kids. For $400 per night I had higher expectations. Like the other reviewers, we had trouble with the trains which run right in front of the property. The windows and doors are thin so you hear it, especially when a freight train goes by. The trains run all day, seemed like there was one every 30-45 minutes. The last one goes by around 10:45pm and the first one in the morning can be heard at 5:30am. We didn't get any sleep and all of us were tried the whole three days we stayed at this place. By the end of it we were looking forward to leaving. Some other things that were annoying were the front desk wanted to charge us for every little thing, there was four of us and I asked for an extra blanket and they wanted $25, for that money I can buy a new blanket. Also, there isn't room service every day so you have to clean up after yourself and keep the place tidy, hard to do when you have a 1 year old and a 5 year old. There are other amenities, such as the restaurants, beach, and the quiet town of Del Mar, but none of these make up for the train noise and other issues with Villa L'Auberge. I will not be staying here again. Great disappointment!

My husband went here for anniversary for the weekend. We loved it! The views were amazing and the resort is in a great location for walking around the town of Del Mar. The condo was very nice - vaulted ceilings and tastfully decorated and the bed was really comfortable.

Twelve time share units are adjoining the L'Auberge Hotel. We had a one bedroom unit that looked great at first but had lots of hidden surprises. Great bed, great view and great amenities. First there were a few maintenance issues that took three days to get fixed and then the TV went out. Then I have to mention the train that starts at 6:30 AM and continues until late at night. And no, you don't get used to it. Yes, the management worked hard to manage our issues and offered a generous credit for our maintenance issues but I actually expected a quieter week away. The hotel attached is great and so many wonderful restaurants in walking distance make it hard to not return to this place but alas, I must look elsewhere next time.
