"very convenient and good value for money"
07/17/14 Arshad M London, United Kingdom
This lovely villa with five bedrooms and two shared bathrooms was very convenient, extremely clean and good value for money. We paid only 70 euros for a quadruple room. We were worried about the shared bathroom being occupied but that was never the case. For s short stay this place was perfect. There is a lovely garden outside with tables and chairs and a swing seat to relax on a balmy Tuscan evening. Another great advantage of staying at this place is it's location from the Pisa airport - just five minutes walk so you don't have to worry about missing your flight! There's also a piano for the musical people out there. Luca and his father were very helpful. We arrived very early in the morning and they were happy to let us stay in the room. There was a moment where I thought we didn't have any towels as on our return from a day out in Pisa in the evening, we didn't find any in our room. I sent an email to Luca and within the next few minutes, our towels arrived. The only issue is that it is far from the Leaning Tower of Pisa - at least a 30 minute walk. However it's quite close to the railway station - no more than a 10 minute walk or you could catch the Lamrossa bus for 1.20 euros heading towards the airport and get off after it crosses the railway bridge. I didn't quite understand whether or not we could use the dining room in the evening or whether or not we were not supposed to eat the supplies of food except for breakfast. We brought our own dinner and sat to eat in the dining room with this notice and found many other residents also doing likewise. The breakfast was wonderful with a range of cakes, fruit, croissants, yoghurts, juice, milk, cereals, bread and even eggs plus cheese and jam. We ate at 4 am and the kitchen was unlocked. There seemed to be a number of people staying at the B&B but no one got in each other's way and it was still quiet. The residents oozed with a bohemian and relaxed style. I thoroughly recommend this place if you do visit Pisa.
"Affordable, friendly, nice rooms and garden."

We stayed here for one night and loved the place. Its just a ten minute walk from the airport. The house is in a friendly street and the host Luca is very charming. Rooms are clean, big, comfy but simple and the shared bathroom is huge and clean too. Breakfast is good and self service. Enjoy it the nice garden. The house is lovely and the breakfast room has a nice atmosphere. Really great place to stay in Pisa.
I know this is not a 5* hotel, but I have given it a 5* review. it is a hostel/b&b but a very good one. I chose Pisa as a base for my trip which was to see Florence, Pisa being 50 mins on the quick train from Florence but far cheaper and, having researched on TripAdvisor , more appealing. I can't speak highly enough of Pisa itself, what a delightful place. Far from being just about the leaning tower and very safe and welcoming to a 30 something year old female solo traveller. anyway I digress. . 1) location. A five minute walk from the airport and the station. so no transfer costs. from the airport arrivals, follow the natural pathway through the car park to a roundabout under a flyover. keep to the right for the pedestrian crossing. cross the road under the flyover and you are on via delle aeroporte.continue down this street until you see a left - just after to your left is branch of Banca toscana. This is where you are turning left. It's the next street parallel to the via delle aeroporto about half way up on your right. lucca will be waiting for you. I landed at Pisa airport at 7.50pm and by 8.05 I had checked into room and left for a wander!! I fly often and couldnt believe how quick I got from runway to accommodation. The train station is a similar distance in the other direction. ask lucca for his "short cut" to the station. 2) the room - I was in the first room next to the entrance. A very large (for a single)room- 25 euros a night. It had a single bed (as expected) a wardrobe, 3 ac outlets, a large desk, chair, and a large bookcase with some books. no tv, but again I was not expecting one, nor desired one. The bed was comfy, even though I found myself falling out of it, not being used to a single bed. It was clean and towels and linen provided. I was surprised that I was not awoken by noise of other guests arriving, nor of any planes being so close to the airport. (i think there are no night flights). i was aware at the time of booking it would be a "shared bathroom" and was apprehensive. absolutely no need. There was never a queue, I do not know how many rooms there are but I suspect it was shared between 3 rooms. It was large, clean and fully stocked including toilet rolls, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and liquid soap. shower was a delight after a long day sightseeing. 3) amenities. a) quick reliable free wifi - tick - no problems whatsoever. I'm still here and using it now for this long review! b) garden - tick - not massive but lovely to relax, read and have a drink after a long day seeing the sites. c) breakfast - a selection of cereals, bread, pastries (prepacked) and sweetbreads (prepacked) cheese and ham. coffee maker (sorry cant review as I don't drink it), tea, juice and water. self serve - better imo than a hotel continental breakfast. The fridge can be used to store your own food/drink. This was more than expected at 25 e a night. d) living area - a cheerful dining/seating area with a couple of lounging chairs and radio. lucca the owner was around regularly (although I wasnt) on check in he offered to change my room if it was too loud being next to the door. (I think he was confused as I am called nicola which is a male in italian). he was friendly and gave me a map and directions to the tower and station without prompting and told me to call if I needed anything. For me, it was fantastic. I hopped onto the train to florence, lucca, viareggio. and spent a lot of time in Pisa. I will definitely come again. A perfect base and I unexpectedly fell in love with Pisa, after being very disillusioned with Florence.
"Perfect location for the airport"
05/27/14 AshaHope90 London, United Kingdom
Lovely room in a beautiful house! A great location if you need access to the train station or airport, but the town centre and attractions are a half an hour walk! Considering it's neighboring the airport, the noise is minimal. Breakfast is lovely and well stocked.
"Great value for money and a good location"
04/30/14 Disneysg1 Leeds,
This little B & B is in a great location in Pisa. It is a 10 minute walk from the airport in a quiet and easy to find street. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and for a 1 night stay with easy access to both central Pisa and the airport you could not ask for more. It is about a 30 minute steady walk from the B & B to the Leaning Tower or you can catch the Rosso bus just around the corner for a couple of euros. We did not sample the breakfast due to an early morning flight but previous reviews describe this as very good. For the price and the location, the quality of this accommodation cannot be faulted and I would definitely recommend it as a cheap and cheerful place to stay whilst in Pisa. The owner was very welcoming and friendly.Even though we have previously stopped at another B & B in Pisa which was also excellent, I would probably stay at Lucky House again first due to it location and cost.
"Great value for money!"

I stayed just one night with a friend. We had a room with 3 beds instead of the twin one we booked. Basically, at B&B you get what you pay for, and this is a quality. Rooms are clean and warm while beds are confortable enough Self service (and self made) breakfast. You may find: milk, fruit juices, water, coffee, different kind of cornflakes, croissants, cookies and cakes, yougurt, ham, and so on. They are not handmade, but remember that this is a B&B and not a luxury hotel. Bathrooms are shared with other customers, so their cleanness depends on the politeness of customers. Staff, even though not always present at the B&B, is very very kind and helpful. Luggage room is available.
"More like a hostel than BnB"
11/11/13 Liamaxwell Glasgow
This place is very basic. Which we did not expect from the reviews on booking.com website. It is more like a hostel than a BnB. You have phone the owners when you arrive, and if you need anything as they are not generally on the premises. Phones sometimes don't operate well outside the carrier country. Garden much smaller than it appears in photos. Our room was not very nice again not up to photos. The place is clean, but it's quite dark inside, and it smells bad, especially in one of the bathrooms. Also, you have to bring your own towel in every time you use the bathroom as there is nothing availble to dry your hands. We booked lucky house for it's easy access to the airport. And for this it is very good. We walked in 10 mins. Our flight was early, so we could not get any proper breakfast. But could help ourselves to yogurt cereal etc. The price was ok for what it is, but we were disappointed because photos and reviews lead us to expect better. I probably wouldn't stay again. But if you are just staying one night to catch a flight it's acceptable.
"I'll be coming back!"
I honestly only spent one night here. But If I come back to Pisa I'll be staying here. My flight got into Pisa late at night, at about 12:30am or so. Luca communicated with me constantly by email and I told him ahead of time about my arrival. It's a very short walk, but because I was alone, and it was late at night, I took a cab. I think it wound up costing me about 10Euros. I hopped out of the cab, and the BB is really nondescript. I didn't even notice it. But! Out came Luca who then gave me a quick tour, my keys, then showed me right up to my room. They give you a key for the gate, and for the main door, so it felt really secure in there. There is an area to relax outside, and a living area inside. My room was big, clean, and had a TV. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. The bathroom was adjacent to my room, and that was also very clean. The kitchen is self service and was stocked with pastries, milk, water, cereals, bread, jam, meats, cheeses and yogurts. I may be missing some things, but it had the essentials. The next morning, I left my bag behind the desk where the "reception" area is and took a walk down to see the sites. It was about a 20 minute walk to the Leaning Tower, and theres a lot to see along the way. I took the train from Pisa to Rome, and the walk was about 15 minutes at a slow pace with my backpack on. It was really easy to find. The neighborhood felt safe, and well taken care of. Over all lucky house was wonderful! They were helpful and accommodating. I never saw any of the other guests, and every one was quiet and respectful. If I make my way to Pisa again, I'll be staying here no question!
"Tango in Italia"

Eccellente, servizio cortese ed efficente....Exellent service and bording. The rooms very clean and comfortable. Breakfast...lots of choices and great coffee. But the main thing, no busses to catch because the Airport is about 10 away on foot. I'll be back, Vito.
Easy walk to train station. On a quiet street, clean room and clean shared bathroom. Comfortable bed. Very nice and friendly owners. Only down side for me was that the walls between rooms seemed thin as i heard conversations from other rooms and opening and closing doors very loud.
