My impression of L'Atelier was average. In Europe things generally tend to be smaller compared to the United States however the corner room we stayed in was a bit cramped & the walls were thin. The double bed took over the space of the room & we could hear the metro in the distance. If one was traveling with large suitcases or happened to be larger […] or taller than the average person I think they would feel very uncomfortable. Apart from sheer size, the room & hotel were clean and the employees were very helpful and approachable. There was no coffee pot in the room however the receptionist gladly prepared a tray with coffee/tea & little cakes. The hotel itself was nice however the rooms were not well insulated from noise. Traffic/noise in the hall was disturbing at night ansd conversations from neighboring rooms were clearly heard. The bed was uncomfortable; My husband and i are in our early thirties and still had trouble sleeping. Had the hotel been closer to desirable/sightseeing areas […] the above issues would have been less disturbing. Almost every spectacle was a 45 minute walk or shorter train ride with frequent transfer. We prefer walking so had to plan accordingly. We loved our stay at this hotel. Just stayed one night but it was really cute and right down the street from the metro station. Neighbor good...a few really good restaurants nearby, the cemetery nearby as well (can walk there). We had to leave for a flight in the morning so did not get to try breakfast, but it looked good. Our room was tiny, with a tiny shower. Unfortunately, we had trouble turning on and off the shower, we needed to grip it with a towel to do so. They said they would fix this, but they didn't. I was here for work at the nearby Institut Pasteur, very convenient. small but nice rooms that had everything needed. Hotel rooms in Paris are VERY small compare to the US, but everything worked. THIS WAS AN EXCELLENT QUAINT HOTEL SITUATED IN THE HEART OF MONTPARNESSE AND A 2 MINUTE WALK FROM THE NEAREST METRO LINE WHICH MEANS YOU GO ALL OVER PARIS FOR LITTLE EUROS. THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND ATTENTIVE. ON REQUEST THE RECEPTIONIST NOMINATED A BEAUTIFUL LITTLE FRENCH RESTAURANT TO VISIT WHICH WAS 2 MINUTES AROUND THE CORNER. L'atelier was perfect for our overnight stay in Paris. Very comfortable with nice decor, good service and a good location for our night out in Montparnasse and Saint Germain. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Paris and could highly recommend this hotel for a short getaway.

Hôtel agencé bobo à la va vite, mais bonjour le cache misère... Tuyauterie de douche défectueuse. Une fuite à l'étage du bas et arrêt momentannée de la douche... Sérrure à clé pas pratique, et surtout bien tirer la porte vers soi. Derrière des commodités à revoir à fond, des couleurs, une déco de bon goût, disposition de meubles astucieuse, literie […] sympa. Je n'ai rien à dire sur cet hôtel. Accueil excellent. Déco super moderne et très agréable. Chambres propres et très agréables aussi.
