      This hotel is about 40-45 minutes from Odawara station and the road is kind of too small and narrow for a driver who used to driving in California cities. Many time drivers from opposite directions have to share lanes. There are lots of standing traffic mirrors installed along the road going up and down hills. The hotel itself is kinda old and the bathroom feels like a toilet on the plane.

      We felt this was an amazing, quiet, older Japanese hotel/ryokan with stunning views of the Lake. My two regrets were that we only booked one night and we did not have our meals in the room--we so wished we had ordered the breakfast and dinner in the room, but they need at least 3 days advanced notice. The dining room/restaurant on the property next door was mediocre at best. This property is in a somewhat remote location, but that is part of its charm and there are ample buses which can take you into the busier parts of Hakone. We loved our stay here!!!

    スパの施術は独特でしたが、身体の疲れはずいぶんと癒されました。また行ってみたいスパです。 エレベーター内に多少他のフロアのたばこのにおいが入るほかはたいへん快適でした。

    Väldigt fint och lyxigt hotell i typisk japansk SPA stil. Sköna sängar och härliga rum. Dålig engelska hos personalen, vi var de enda västerlänningarna. baren har bra urval av viner och mysig stämning.
