Wonderful experience. We parked on street a block from hotel to avoid 10Eu per night. Never needed the car for three days and enjoyed the walks. The inn keeper said the hotel was formerly a nuns convent. The convent moved next door and our room overlooked the grounds of the new convent.Very quiet except when a bus load of college students arrived. Hotel […] manager quickly got contol of them. I really appreciated the staying at this hotel.It's right in the historical city, near Prate della Vale market, not far from the train station. The staff was very friendly. I would stay again if I had another trip to Padova. The room is small, but this was not a problem. The view was great:)

Room was very modern, well-appointed (if a bit small). Location is in a nice neighborhood and close to Prato della Plaza (sp?). Breakfast was good, but not included. You can also borrow a bike. A long walk from the train station, but doable.

We stayed at M14 for 6 nights; the best of it is its location, close enough to Prato della Valle and the very nice tram system which gets you at the train station in 10 minutes, but in a quiet street. The building seems to have been designed and used as a dorm, and thus the premises are not particularly appealing and the rooms are quite small (ours […] overlooked a nice garden though). The hotel seems to cater specially to tourist groups in buses (school youngsters, groups of senior citizens), which may result in some more activity than what you would like around. It's clean, cheap, and kind. Most of all, you can use bicycles free! Though the hotel is far from the railway station, it costs less than 10 euros by taxi, and tour of the city by bicycle was fantastic!

10 minute tram ride from train station...then a 3 block walk from tram stop. Had free WiFi in room...breakfast was 5 Euro and worth it considering you would have to pay 3 euro for a croissant outside. Staff was extremely friendly. Pavoda is a great alternative to staying in Venice...about a 30 minute train ride costing 4 euros.

Room was clean, but there was toilet running 24/7 in our room. Staff was extremely helpful at all times. It's located around the corner from Padova's sights and tram stop so it's easy and cheap to get to railway station.

A newish modern hotel - very clean and up to date. Room more than adequate. Quiet neighborhood; deSpar market very close by. Don't be fooled by the map - the tourist stuff is all an easy walk; even the train, at the other end of town, is only a 35 min. walk.

We loved the neighborhood in which this hotel is situated. The hotel is situated in a quieter part of Padua, which was perfect for us. We were a little confused about finding the hotel, but a staff member responded to an e-mail request within an hour and provided the information we needed to get there. The hotel loans free bicycles, with a $100 euro […] refundable deposit. Unfortunately, when we wanted to use the bicycles, we ended up sitting around in the lobby for close to an hour--the two young ladies behind the desk seemed confused about our request and then we had to wait for another employee to pump air into a tire. He warned us that he was worried it would flatten again (but all the other bikes were checked out at the time). Sure enough, it flattened after about 30 minutes of riding. Despite the flat tire, I thought the bicycles were a nice service because the city is nicely suited for bicycles. The rooms are tiny. TINY. There is barely space between the bed and the wall to walk around. However, we were pre-warned about the space issue by the other reviewers. We did not spend much time in the hotel room anyway, so this was not a big problem, and the space that was there was utilized efficiently. And the balcony was a nice bonus. I definitely recommend eating breakfast at the hotel. We hadn't included breakfast in our original reservation, but it was definitely more convenient than finding breakfast elsewhere. Finally, the wi-fi service in the hotel is the best we had during our entire 3 week trip. It is the only time our laptop didn't lose its connection. Read more

The service at this hotel was infuriating. The first problem is that they only have one person working at any one time. If I was asking for help and somebody walked in for a check in, they would interrupt me, and interrupt me. The management was only slightly less clueless. The only let-down with m14 was that our bathroom smelt very strongly of smoke. The bedrooms a re quite small, but for a two night city break it was fine. The location, just off Padova's main square is perfect.

Dont come to M14 if you want a posh hotel where you dress for dinner, it's not that sort of place. Hotel M14 with its funny name was a pleasant discovery. The hotel provided all my needs - comfort, accessibility to places important to me, cleanliness, reasonable price. Its operations seemed uncomplicated so the guests needs were addressed quickly. I found it convenient that there was breakfast available, although i would have liked to have some substantial […] foods available - even just sandwiches - for the rest of the day too to facilitate a quick lunch or dinner, so there would be no need to make a special trip just to get food when one is tired or has to rush to an activity. The elevator also was often occupied and there were instances i just decided to take the stairs after waiting too long, but i think the food and elevator issues are minor. Another minor thing: I thought the room"s lighting could be improved - perhaps an additional desk lamp or a higher bulb wattage could improve the lighting a bit - but maybe when its time to repaint the rooms, brighter colors might make a big difference. Anyway, having mentioned those details that could make the hotel even better, I can say that I really liked this hotel and enjoyed my stay there. I was delighted with this hotel. It's location is great - right next to Prato della Valle and Via Roma and just a 5 min saunter to the centre of the city. The rooms are small but well appointed, with modern furniture and very clean. The air conditioning is included and there is also a small balcony. It is also possible to use bikes for free (deposit payable) which is fantastic for sightseeing round the city. There is limited parking (separate charge) which you need to book in advance however cars are in a secure locked car park. Breakfast is great value and plentiful. Certes loin de la gare pour se rendre à Venise, mais le tram n'est pas très loin au square. L’hôtel, sans réel charge reste accueillant et très calme. Il faudra rajouter pour le petit déjeuner par adulte et le parking dans l'enceinte de l’hôtel. très difficile à l'extérieur.
