Hotel Ibiza Playa - Ibiza

The hotel is old and amenities are average at best but the location is great. This was the first time I've been to Ibiza and found that the location this hotel is in is very mellow compared to Playa d'en Bossa and Sant Antonio. You don't get the raucous crowds or the excitement but then again if you are staying in the hotel you are probably looking […] for some rest. The hotel is right in front of the beach which is extremely convenient. I rented 3 different rooms and they were all very similar in their condition. My room had a very moldy shower curtain which drifted in and touched you when you were in the shower. The other rooms had glass doors in their showers. I resorted to leaving the curtain outside the tub which caused a lot of water to pool up. Afterwards I would mop up with an extra towel. I realized that my strategy wouldn't work bc the maid service would take two dirty towels and leave only one. They did this multiples times during my stay. I'm assuming it's a strategy to get extra tips which I did provide. The beds were very hard but I didn't mind them too much. The hotel provides free internet but only in the lobby which was a bit of a hassle. All in all I got what I expected. I'm not sure if I would stay there again but it wasn't a terrible stay. The only good points for this hotel are that the staff is very friendly, and it's right by the beach. I booked a single room, and paid almost as much as my friends who got a room that was three times the size of my room. If you are staying by yourself in a room, I recommend getting a room that's for two people since you will probably pay just as much […] either way. I've traveled to Europe several times, and don't mind the small size European hotel rooms; however, this room was just TOO small even for a petite person like me. The shower was not pleasant. There's nowhere to put your toiletries, and there's no holder for the shower head. If you leave the water on while lathering up, the water will splash everywhere since there's no place to put the shower head. There's a musky smell in the closets, so I had to open the window to let air in. They do have a very powerful a/c unit in the room though, if you are going in the summer, it's very helpful. Positives - 1. Beautiful view over the sea & beach from the balcony. 2. We booked a triple room and were expecting a pull-out sofa but we actually got 3 beds - perfect! 3. We had to check out at 10.30am but our flight wasn't until midnight, so they gave us a spare room later on in the day to get changed - for free! 4. Great choice of buffet at breakfast. […] 5. Cleaned well every day and always new towels. 5. Next to beach, restaurants and shops. 6. 24hr conceirge. 7. Nice and quiet during the day. Negatives - 1. Quite a 'locals' area, which suits some people but not great if you want to meet fellow Brits abroad! This does mean it is more peaceful than other areas though. 2. Had a strange problem with our ceiling panels moving when the balcony door was open (looked like something out of the xfiles) but maintenance was quick to come up to look. Read more

Nice location on a private beach. Paid a lot and the first night had a tiny room on the side of the restaurant so in the morning you could here all the plates slamming by the staff cleaning so I could not sleep. The staff were lovely and moved me to the other side of the hotel were unfortunately the air con didn't work but again the lovely staff had […] this fixed the next day. The was no fridge inthe room which could have been helpful. Breakfast was included which was a nice buffet but there were many surrounding restaurants. The walk to town was only 15 mins and to playa den bossa only half hour. The hotel has its own small beach at the back and a lovely balcony with a bar web you an also order cheap meals if you don't want to leave the hotel. Read more

The reception staff at the hotel were immediately very friendly and efficient when we arrived. We had requested a sea view and a room on a high floor. The receptionist had the details of the request and we got both the view and a high room. It wasn't very clear whether the large sea water pool was still there or not. It isn't! The staff are asked about […] this on a daily basis, so the hotel should make this clear on their website. There is a small pool but the hotel is right on the beach so we didn't use it at all. There is a decent buffet style breakfast with a good selection and what we had was perfectly adequate. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. The room was cleaned to a good standard on arrival and was kept clean during our stay. There is air conditioning in the room which helped on the very hot days. What detracted from the hotel was the amount of noise from groups of young lads staying in the hotel. Lots of doors slamming etc. that was quite annoying in the evenings. The standard of fittings in the room was adequate as it looked like it had been replaced in the last couple of years. Some of the communal areas though could do with some attention. There were a few glass tiles broken etc. that brought the standard down. The hotel was close to beach bars and restaurants - we particularly liked Fusion for the happy hour cocktails and they do a decent paella. Tres bien. Pas loin de l'aeroport et de la ville de Ibiza. L'hotel est de 3* mais tres correct. Wifi gratuit dans le lobby mais cher si on veut l'avoir dans les chambres (15 EUR pour la semaine ou 10 EUR par jour !)

Lokatie perfect. Zeer klein zwembad met weinig bedjes. Ontbijt sober. Kamer aan zeezijde zijn goed. Ze hadden ons eerst een kamer zonder balkon aan achterzijde gegeven. Na ons verzoek een andere kamer aan voorkant gekregen.

Fijn hotel met een gunstige ligging net naast Ibiza stad en direct aan zee. Prijs kwaliteit is top. Het is geen luxe hotel, maar alles is aanwezig en het ziet er netjes en modern uit. Vraag om een kamer op een wat hogere verdieping, want het kan zijn dat je anders wat geluidsoverlast ondervind van het restaurant/de discotheek.

Het hotel is op loop afstand (ong. 15 min.) van oude centrum van Ibiza-stad. Vriendelijk en behulpzame medewerkers. Ook de buurt is oke. alles vlakbij: supermarkten, geldautomaten, restaurantjes (wij hebben er niet gegeten), taxi's, bussen Leuk klein druk strandje voor de deur, waar ligbedjes en parasols te huur zijn ook nog. Si no fuera ibiza seria una mala eleccion, pero teniendo.en cuenta q esta bien situado, es una buena opcion para dejar las maletas y ducharse. No es un hotel para dedicarle mas tiempo. La habitacion podria ser comparable a la de un hospital. En cualquier otro sitio no deberia costar mas de 30€\noche.

Hotellet ligger vid stranden och har en underbar utsikt över viken men stranden är väldigt liten och lukten från vattnet är inte fräsch. Vi badade inte för det såg inte inbjudande ut, då vattnet var smutsigt, tråkigt för att anledningen till att vi bokade detta hotell var att den låg vid stranden. Kvarteret inte det bästa men det gick att promenera […] till stan fast det var långt. Frukostbuffén av ganska dålig kvalité. Dubbelrummet var stort med stor balkong och fin utsikt men det var bullrigt utanför hotellet och inne i hotellet långt in i natten så det var svårt att sova. Read more

Vi var nöjda med vår vistelse på detta hotel. Ett minus för sängarna där man kände spiralfjärdrarna från madrassen samt att vi tydligen fick det enda rummet som hade en balkong som täcktes av stor palm. Plus för storleken på rummet, en trevlig personal och en fullgod frukostbuffe.

Net hotel op een ideale locatie, direct aan het strand van Figueretes, op loopafstand (10 min) van Ibiza stad. Schone kamers met een goed werkende airco. Badkamer is prima, alleen de douchekop was aan vervanging toe. 't Hotel zou hier en daar wat verf kunnen gebruiken, maar over 't algemeen ziet 't er goed uit en werkt alles naar behoren.
