My family stayed at this hotel for three nights. We were pleased with the room; it was clean & comfortable. There was plenty to choose from at the continental breakfast. However, because we have small children we always look for a hotel with a pool. There is an indoor pool at this hotel, but it was unheated. The hot tub was also "out of service". The front desk were efficient and friendly. (When I thought I had lost something at a nearby restaurant I asked for the phone number but they called over to check on it before I could!) In general the public areas were very attractive and clean. My room was attractive and clean but very cold and I adjusted the air conditioning easily. The spa had an […] excellent temperature but not all the jets were functioning and there was a residue of gravel on the floor. (Recommend cleaning and adjusting.) Friendly staff and easy checkin and checkout processes. Didnt like that they sell you missing or forgotten items. Didn't care for the popcorn. Breakfast was good. Plasticware too weak for the buscuits, omlete and sweet rolls.

This hotel was clean, very convenient and the front staff was super friendly. Our king room was large and comfortable... and had a refrigerator. We came in quite late, but the staff was kind and helpful. All-in-all, the good night sleep and decent breakfast the next morning got us off on our way in good shape.

The hotel was ok, they were definitely working on overall hotel improvements. The rooms needed to be updated. We were more disappointed in the area. We planned a week long vacation in the Black Hills and were hoping we could use this location as a "home base". The area was not what we wanted. Hotel is brand new. The pool is not easily accessible but in a separate building. The rooms were clean but small in comparison to other similar hotels. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was readily prepared.

We had a police escort, thanks to the fact our GPS couldn't find it, and there was no telephone number on the reservation. On the outskirts of Hot Springs, which is already a very small town. Hotel was adequate, but nothing more. Front desk employees were in the middle of a personal conversation which they didn't feel any need to stop, interrupt, or […] even pause upon our arrival. Problem with our request for a pet friendly room, so we ended up being put in a regular room, which was fine. We had a 3rd (top) floor room, but we still heard lots of noise. This was one of those places that I wasn't quite sure about when I booked it, but the reviews were good. I was very pleased with the hotel. It was clean and quiet. The breakfast was sufficient and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

It was awful hot tub smelled like sewage and seemed unsafe for anyone to even be in and amenities in room were broken...hotel staff didn't seem to care when notified. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

This is a newer hotel with spacious rooms. We had 2 double beds and a pullout sofa sleeper, so it was great for our family of 5. We pool was nice, and our boys spent a few hours there swimming. The hotel is right next to the Mammoth Site, which was our main reason to visit Hot Springs. We ate downtown at Bumpers, which has great pizza. Room and bathroom were great, everything looked new or recently updated. The one negative was that we had a room looking out to the courtyard and we could clearly hear the loud talking of other hotel guests in the courtyard around 2 or 3 AM.

If u r wanting to take in Custer and the surrounding parks this is a true Jem. We were a little Concerned as the USA hotels are usally really run down. This was our only option in the area, but turned out to be outstanding. Friendly service, small town atmosphere and very clean rooms and hotel overall. We absolutely loved this place. Just down the road from the Mammoth Site (a must-do!). Great people, great rooms, great breakfast. We really liked the patio area out back where we could sit and enjoy a cold beer (bought on-site) with some popcorn! 10 hotels in 10 days and the only one that topped this one was a Westin!

The USA Stay Hotel was a good place to stay a night. Not all outside doors locked, so no security there. The pool is strange, as it is only 2ft deep at shallow end and 3.5ft deep on deep end. Overall, the hotel was very nice. The Pool was under construction but was still able to be useful to us. We spent most of our time site seeing and going to the water park, but overall I would recommend this hotel if you wanted or needed to stay in Hot Springs.

The room was quiet and comfortable and the AC worked well. However, the hot tub by the pool was broken, and I can't leave the pool to go to the other hot tube while my children are swimming. The sauna by the pool looked nice, but didn't work well, and there was a radio system in the sauna that I couldn't figure out how to work. The carpets in the hotel […] are fairly filthy - see carpet in elevator. There was very little air conditioning in the common areas or elevator. The grounds were a complete mess with weeds everywhere and trash in the water fall outside and in the back of the hotel. The area where food was served was okay, but there was only one person working in there on a very busy holiday. Overall, it is obvious that they either ran out of capital or the original owner sold it to a person who just wants the revenue with little concern about the details of running a competative hotel. The hotel was conveniently located by the Mammoth Site in Hot Springs, but nothing else. It made driving back through town to find a place to eat inconvenient.
