The Inn at Hermannhof - Hermann

Vaulted ceilings of the upper cottage unit really limited the usable space. I would recommend the lower cottage unit or hotel for anyone taller than 5'-6". The location was great, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean...overall a good experience.

This is an excellent B&B. Rooms are very clean and very well decorated with no expense spared. It is downtown Hermann where you can walk to two wineries and one brewery. There is also a tolley you can take to the other wineries and the operator/owners are factanstic. The Amtrac station is located accross the street from the B&B so you don't need drive […] at all. Excellent facility. Courteous staff and very clean facilities. The main operation is located next to the railroad tracks. The suites are located away from the railroad tracks. Trains run all night long hauling coal. I would recommend staying in the suites which is where we stayed. The suites sit high on a hill and provide a beautiful view of the the […] town. The morning breakfasts are great. The eating area is very unique and interesting. In summary, the Hermanhof Inn was an enjoyable stay and the town of Hermann is a German settlement with a lot of rich American history. A very enjoyable stay.
