There were lots of world travelers here so I liked that. But leaving from Via Imero was a crowded line! Mulit-lingual staff and good information available. I was surprised that there is hardly NO signage directing newly arriving guests to the hostel. At night, It's even harder to see a small IYHF sign onthe compound fence. Geez, most IYHF sites have […] good signage. 20 mins or so bus time to hostel from center but bus service available very late into night. I took the four-person male shared room option. Although it's a shared 'dorm' or hostel it's much better than that in reality - very spacious and the beds weren't on top of one other like in most other hostels I've stayed in over the years (separate single beds on four corners of the room). The room was extremely spacious and the washroom was well-maintained […] (not perfectly of course (it also depends on how clean the other people staying at the time are), but the supplies like tissue papers and hot water etc. weren't lacking). I went with low expectations and even though this is a basic place I was to a very large extent comfortable. I don't know how far exactly it is from major places in town, but it seemed very close based on my experience with a friend picking me up in her car. I had a wonderful time here and I met some really nice people. The room was lovely and warm and I enjoyed a comfortable stay. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and had a good command of the English language. I would definately stay here again; it felt like a home away from home. For what it is, it is brilliant. Thank you.

Esta fue mi primer experiencia en un hostel y fue realmente mala, el primer día llegue a la habitación compartida con otras tres personas (a una de ellas no se si le cabe ese nombre) y ni siquiera pude encender la luz para acomodar mis cosas, al no tener luces individuales por cama, la unica opción es encender la luz general y eso melestó a uno de los […] ocupantes con el discurso que al otro día se tenia que levantar temprano (me dió la impresión que estaba alojado en forma prolongada). Para usar el baño no había problemas siempre que pudiese aguantar el inmundo olor a orines que había, parece ser que solo limpian los baños una vez al día (y no estoy seguro que fuera así) entiendo que eso es inaceptable en un lugar en donde comparten un baño, al menos, 20 personas. Por otra parte el baño estaba permanentemente mojado. La última noche tuve otra pesima experiencia con el mismo sujeto que la primer noche, porque estaba usando INTERNET con la luz apagada!!!!!, la agresión no llegó a lo físico porque yo y otro de los que compartíamos la habitación no respondimos a sus agravios y medió la presencia del encargado. El encargado tuvo una buena actitud, ya que se dió cuenta que no estaba haciendo nada indebido, y nos trasladó a otra habitación para dos con baño privado. En resumen una experiencia mala..
