      The hotel was in a nice area of town and fairly close to all of the area attractions. I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms. They looked great in the photos and exceeded my expectations. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were large, and the in-room spa was AMAZING. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend the Tuscany Villas to anyone.

      This Holiday Inn is one of the nicest places in town. The town can smell like sulphur as you are located on a geothermal sulphur springs area. The major problem with hotels in New Zealand is that they charge for everything! Local calls, wifi, breakfast, parking, etc.. My wife and I were on our Honeymoon from the US there and we enjoyed it. Rotorua had lots of fun stuff to do and this hotel was close to many of them.

      Staff was more than pleasant and helpful. Felt rooms were outdated but very clean. Enjoyed the private grottos below the hotel.. Had jets and waterfalls.. Very cool! Would stay again!!

      Beautiful views from the rooms. (not lake rotorua). Breakfast is a little pricey. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

    Pretty good hotel for the price. Not fancy or luxurious but decent, clean and comfortable. Has a small jacuzzi and thermal pool, and was walking distance to lake rotorua and the town centre.
