The hotel was fine but the location was not the best for us. We were going to the ski resort everyday and we should have chosen a hotel downtown.

This Hotel was great, the staff were extremely helpful and I had no problems whatsoever. I rented a car so I was able to get around town but if you are just looking to stay close to the airport and need a nice, clean, new hotel, pick this place. I understand what people say about not having much near the hotel but there are places if you look. Safeway […] is right down the road and with the kitchen in the room, it's nice if you are staying more than one night. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. Read more

The location of this hotel is very convienent. Walking to airport just less than10 mins(walking to crest street, then turn left, then turn right on ).Taking a taxi is less than $6. There is a bus station at Nugget mall(walking to there less than 10 mins). The bus going to Downtown Juneau(about 40mins, the stop is near Public library) and Mendenhall […] Glacier(get off the bus, then walking about 30mins to entrance the Forest where the sign is "trail of time, bear activity" or walking another 10 mins to visitor center. The bus fare is $2(adult), $1(under 18). There are several restaurants and one deli at nugget mall. BTW, Canton house is an America-Chinese restaurant and overpriced. Read more

Thae accomodations and room cleanliness were great. However the staff appeared inexperienced in hotel service guest relations. We found them to be testy, distracted and put out when questioned about the hotel.

No one came to clean my room the whole time I was there. I was there for almost 2 weeks. Not happy with the front desk staff had nothing but problems with them well never stay there again. Size of rooms might be great but customer service is Bad they need better training.

The hotel is very nice. It need a shuttle because it is about 15 walk from food and shopping. Not all local place will deliver there also Pizza places yes.

Overall, my experience was great. The only thing I can say that was different was the door to the bathroom, a slider, didn't give much privacy and there was no fan in the bathroom to help with the steam from the shower. However, everything else was Nice. Also, they do not do daily housekeeping, rather only do it 1 time per week. This is good and bad... […] You can take your linens/towels to the front desk with the laundry basket provided and exchange for clean towels, etc if needed. This hotel had just opened up on June 1. Our reservation was for June 3. Its a very nice hotel. Nice spacious rooms. The only downfall is the hotel doesn't have a shuttle service from the airport. Some flights come in later in the evening. A shuttle service would be wonderful. They do have a security guard on duty during the late evening to early morning […] shift. Very nice would stay here again.Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Only had minor problems, one was with the business office printer. Curtains blow up away from the window when heater is on. Lights at the bedside are not shaded enough.Brand new hotel though.

We booked this room because it had a kitchenette. The hotel is brand new and shows well. On arrival the front desk staff, who seem to do all of the work in the hotel on there own, explained to me that this hotel was different in that there was no maid service, etc....and was suited best for long term business clients. This didn't really bother me because […] I like my privacy anyhow. What did bother me what that when I entered the room there was grease stains all over the bedspread and what looked like a cheddar cheese dropping on there too. The cheese had gone through the bedspread onto the duvet sheet, which indicated to me that the sheets had not been fully changed between guests....gross! I called to the front desk and the front desk clerk arrived to change them out. I had realized at the time that the disposal box spring cover also looked like someone had puked on it or I would have had him change that too. I'm sure this doesn't happen all the time and overall the hotel was nice, but do not expect service like in a regular hotel and do not be surprised when you hear planes take off since it's next to the airport. The hotel is close to the airport, but some distance from the city. As there is no restaurant it is almost essential to have transport of your own. They made a mistake with my reservation, said I had booked for different dates until I proved I was right. Couldn't check out when I left as the receptionist was locked out of the office and I had to leave […] to catch a flight. Still haven't received my final account.
