This new modern hotel is located in the center of Bangkok near the JW Marriot, a nice neighborhood. The nearest metro is about a 15 minute walk, but the hotel provides a golf cart shuttle service to the main road which is just 5 minutes from the Phloen Chit Metro Station. The free breakfast and wi-fi was exceptional. The hotel caters to middle eastern travelers and does have a lot of kids, so if either of those bother you this may not be the hotel for you. I was completely tricked w/all website pictures and ratings, I made a reservation for tree bedroom for my wife kids and her family on 12/5, first impression she got the room need an urgent upgrade, a/c noise all night, sofa got white spot everywhere, mold in the bathroom, floor tile wasnt clean well, worst thing my wife found under the bed a red female […] underware that means Cleaning lady's never clean under the bed, clothes hangers hanging on pictures walls, breakfast was terrible is a guy in the restaurant got bad attitude with my wife because she was asking for high chair she ate at the hotel only one day of tree days stay. According to my wife the only good thing in the hotel was a friendly front desk people that's all. We enjoyed the place. Their breakfast is something you will look for - they serve a lot different dishes. The hotel stay is comfortable because they provided kitchen and the best is having a washer and dryer that you won't miss home at akk. By the way, they also provide safe box that will give its guestsa peace of mind!

Throughout our stay at the hotel, we were very comfortable. The hotel was located a little ways from the Sukhumvik Street on Soi 2, but they compensated by providing a free, timely shuttle to the Sukhumvik Street, The hotel provided a very good breakfast with friendly waiters and a very good omelet chief. The hotel front desk personnel were very nice […] and eager to assist you with what ever information you may need to enjoy Bangkok. The room was always clean when we returned from shopping and every day two complimentary bottles of water were provided. Although they provided a nice size safe in each room, you can't put everything in it. The only problem we encountered at the hotel was my wife suspects that four (4) new pairs of women underwear, a new bathing suit and a older bathing suit was taken from her suitcase while staying at the hotel. We did not know the items were missing until we arrived home, she unpacked her suitcase and found them to be missing. Because of the items missing from my wife's suitcase, I can not recommend the use of this hotel. Read more

I enjoyed my staty. The hotel staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. I did have issues 3 times with hot water when I tried to take a shower, however someone came within 5 mins to fix it, and all was well. The complimentary breakfast is nice also. I would highly recommend this hotel. The room was big , clean, with a kitchen and a washer.The breakfast was killer, the staff was very helpful and friendly .The location was very central and close to the sky train .The hotel has security guards at both entrances and a Tuk Tuk that will drop you at the Main Street .

I stayed at the hotel for a long weekend. The room was spacious and the kitchen was very convenient; however, there were a few thing that would keep me from coming back: (1) The pillows smelled of perspiration and body odors, (2) some of the towels smelled musty, and (3) at checkout, the front desk insisted that I give them back their laundry bag or […] else they will charge me for it. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and have used the laundry bags for carrying dirty laundry back home. This is the first time where a hotel had made a big deal about a guest taking a laundry bag. I winded up having to unpack in the lobby and stuff my dirty laundry elsewhere in my luggage. If the hotel does not want people to take the cloth laundry bag, they should either put up a sign or provide plastic ones. This just leaves a very bad impression that the hotel is out to nickel and dime the guests. Read more

The entire hotel experience at Amari was exceptional. The room is spacious, housekeeping does an excellent job, and there is a restaurant on-site that is delicious. There is also a small convenient store on site. I feel in love with my room because not only was it spacious but it had a washing machine and awesome internet service. Breakfast selection […] was varied, an addition may be another western dish such as "French Toast," and a less-bitter coffee. However, don't discredit what I am saying, Moustache - the restaurant -was still superb. At first, I didn't know how the service would be at the hotel. I had requested someone to unpack my luggage and was told flatly - "No, we don't provide that service." So, at first, I was put off a little; but, needless to say, everything else was handled nicely and efficiently. The staff - from the Concierge, Reception, Housekeeping, and the Wait Staff were exceptional. There is also an amazing gym and pool and private his and hers jacuzzi area. Nice! The hotel is also right down the street from the Phloechit Center which has a pharmacy, an exchange, nail salon, and some small shopping. I will definitely stay here again. Read more

Hiring taxi at hotel lobby may be expensive as all the taxi come along have well connection with hotel employees. With 4 times of experiences, it is better to go out to main road and hire your taxi ont he way back to Airport.

stayed at 2 different hotels in bangkok, and the location of the amari was FAR superior to the first hotel. the staff is lovely, the room is large - laundry was a huge plus!, and the shuttle to the main road is SO convenient! LOVED IT! would highly recommend other stay here. great deal.

This hotel is an apartment building where some of the rooms are for the hotel and some presumably private residences. So you defintely get the home away from home feel. It is very comfortable, very clean and a good location - with entrances/exits on Sukhumvit Soi 2 and Soi 4. It is a 10 minute walk to the Nana BTS. The entrance on Soi 4 is very discreet […] - for those looking for that in BKK. There is a quite but good location on site and the kitchen is fully equipped and a washer/dryer included. The hotel was fine, everything clean and it was an appartement, so we had a washing machine, which was nice after two weeks on Phuket. :-) The location is ok, but could be a bit more central, as it is really a headache to find a taxi that brings you to the place you want without charging more or bringing you to several shopping locations. Taxi mafia […] in this area one of the nice taxi drivers told us. The hotel was fine at the end of Soi 2 in Sukumvit, so all the shopping and night life was around the corner. Only if you wanted to go to the city, this was a bit difficult as mentioned before. I can reccomend the hotel, everything was fine, the breakfast could need a bit of improvement, as it was really boring from the fist day. We tried the restaurant once and it was fine, but expensive compared to the food you gor around the hotel. The quality of the food was very nice. Everything was clean and if we needed something, everyone was helpful, just in getting a taxi the hotel was not helpful, as I think, the bellboys are part of the Taxi mafia in Sukumvit, as they always brought us to taxis that only offered city tour not going to where we wanted. What a great place! Very clean, newer facilities, beautiful rooftop pool, jacuzzi and gym. Great breakfast. Who gave this hotel/apartment complex 4.5 stars, it is at most a 3 star hotel. The property is old and in major need of remodeling.
