Our B&B hosts have recreated the splendor of early Moosejaw. Perhaps just a bit more promotion of Moosejaw itself -- what to do in the winter and in the lovely park areas just below the B & B -- would add to the experience. We loved our stay and would definitely return.

The entire B&B was very quaint and lovely. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the service was wonderful. We will definitely be back for a longer stay at some point in the future. Sadly for us it was just a quick over night stop this time. I look forward to the next time.

I only stayed here one night, and arrived late and left early before breakfast, so have only a fleeting impression of the place. The owner was friendly and helpful, and reduced my rate as I would not have time for breakfast which was good. My room was clean and comfortable enough. However, the main problem was there was no central heating in the room, […] and the only source of heat was a 1970's era imitation log fire electric heater which was both extremely noisy and brightly illuminated, which made leaving it on whilst trying to sleep out of the question (apart from the risk of causing a towering inferno!) so I spent a pretty cold night - it was mid November and well below freezing outside. Also the curtains were pretty inadequate in terms of blocking out light from street lamps or even preserving modesty! To be fair the owner said they were undergoing renovation, but I don't think they should offer rooms if the heating is inadequate. Read more

We understand your concerns and just want to clarify the situation so future guests will know we keep a warm house and do indeed have central heating throughout. The day you arrived a new boiler was being installed. The plumbers did not inform us of the exact day they would be doing this. The plumbers did not get it totally hooked up until after your departure. Upon your arrival you should have been informed that a new boiler was being installed and to use the electric fireplace in your room which is very safe and would have kept you warm. We wish you would have informed us of your concern while you were here so that we could have given you another type of heater to keep you comfortable. We are so very happy with our new boiler which keeps the entire house warm and toasty. Also you may not have noticed the thick blinds behind the curtains in your room. They have always done a great job of keeping out any sort of light. Thank you again for posting your concerns and please feel free to contact us about this matter if you wish to discuss it further.

In a historic home on a bluff overlooking the river, this B&B couldn't be more scenic. Room was very comfortable, internet worked good, breakfast was very good. Highly recommended
