This hotel was clean with a very modern decor. The service was excellent - the staff was very helpful in helping us find the town and get us from place to place around the area. You can stay here if you are planning to visit Gibralter or just passing through to other areas in Spain. There isn't much going on in the town of Algeceries (we were there for Christmas and nothing was open). My biggest problem was payment. I prepaid through hotels.com - but the hotel did not have any record of my payment so I had to pay again.

What a great place just outside of Tarfia. Staff excellent, very accommodating. Restaurant food excellent. Would recommend this little inn any time.

Check-in was a breeze, and the hotel itself is very clean, modern, and refreshing. However, the area is a generally abandoned and desolate industrial/commercial zone and it isn't near much. The staff gave us a map of restaurants in the area for dinner and upon visiting one of them we encountered extremely rude staff and overpriced food. Despite two of the people in our party being fluent in Spanish, they were very condescending. The beds in our room were very firm, as well, especially the roll-out bed for our triple room. This hotel works for a quick stopover on your way to Cádiz, Málaga, or a tour to Morocco, but I would not recommend a long-term stay here as it was the least pleasant part of Spain we saw during our two weeks there.
