"A fine hotel with seaview"
We had a very pleasant staying at Villa Telenta. The owners did almost everything to make sure that we would enjoy our time at: Their hotel, Vela Luka and Korcula. And we truly did. So it is with no hesitation that we can give our wamest recommendations to the hotel. Thanks again Patricia and Klaus

"Lovely apartment, nice owners, Recommend"
We arrived in Vela Luka by Ferry, the hotel is a short water taxi ride away at a cost of .40p per person (though they only run every 30 mins). It was a little tricky to find, but we got there in the end. The owners are very very nice people and the apartment was comfortable and spotlessly clean. It also had a very nice balcony with good views. As we arrived on a Sunday everywhere was closed, however they made us a beautiful barbecue dinner served on the veranda. We decided not to stay in Vela Luka for the duration of our visit as it was a little quiet for us, so we moved onto Hvar, however if peace, quiet, sunshine and rest is what you require - this is the place for you.

"Lovely Villa Telenta!"
We had a great 2 weeks in Villa Telenta. The villa is as described, easily accessible and very close to the sea. Our bedding and towels were regularly changed and the food was some of the best we had. We had a lovely shaded patio from which we could hear the comings and goings in the harbour. The villa owners were really friendly and helpful. The weather was perfect and Korcula is beautiful

"Lovely place close to a great town."
Vela Luka is a beautiful harbour town on the island of Korcula. The villa is situated on the entrance to the harbour and was an easy 20 min stroll into town or if you are feeling lazy water taxi's are available to take you across the harbour. There is a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops in Vela Luka and is well situated for trips to the islands of Proizd and Vis and the blue caves which are spectacular. All in all a very pleasant introduction to Croatia and looking forward to visiting this lovely country again.

"Excellent Location, Fantastic View"
Owners made us feel very welcome. We stayed for a week, and loved it. Weather was perfect, room was spacious with balcony overlooking the sea. Walked into town and back most evenings, good choice of restaurants and bars, only 20 mins each way.. We also enjoyed a BBQ at the villa which we would highly reccomend . Hired a boat for the day to visit other islands nearby, hired a scooter, and went round the whole island, Verukula worth a visit. Took a picnic to the nearest beach within walking distance and swam from the steps at the villa.

"Great location and very friendly owner, small room"
There is a very pleasant access to swim in the sea (from rocks and a platform) right by the villa and a pebble beach with beach bar, pedalos etc. 200m away. There is also a water taxi service every 15 mins to the centre of Vela Lucka (2 minutes by boat). If you like running or walking, there is a nice walk of about 2 miles towards the end of the harbour and 1 mile to the centre of the town. The car ferries come close and are loud but there are only a couple a day and they dont run overnight so this isnt a major problem. The proprieter is very friendly and helpful and made us a lovely breakfast and a fantastic (and very good value) dinner. However, our room was quite basic. (Although it had two rooms, one of them wasnt very useful because water from the air conditioner leaked into it.) The bedroom was OK but cramped for 3 of us. There was also a TV and fridge,

"Great place for a relaxing getaway"
We had a great week staying at Villa Telenta. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay I highly recommend Vela Luka. The owners were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast (and dinner, if you pay extra) is served outside on the balcony/patio overlooking the sea. You can swim right by the place, just go down about 20ish steps to the water... bring swimming shoes though as there are lots of sea urchins! Air con and wi-fi plus a fridge in our room and a drying rack on our patio

"Fantastic sea view"
Vi had originally a 5-day stay planned, but added an extra night because we loevd it too much. Vela Luka village is so relaxing and Villa Telenta is perfectly located up the hill overlooking the habour and village. The hosts are friendly and speak adequate English. We recommend booking one of the two 'seaview' apartments. Complimentary breakfast is included. Only negative is very squeeky beds. Would go back.

"Uusi talo rauhallisella paikalla"
Todella siisti, uusi talo, jossa monta huoneistoa.

"A Room with a view"

We have just return from 2 weeks staying at Villa Telenta. We stayed in room 4 which consisted of a large double bedroom, shower room with wash hand basin and toilet, a large area of the hall way which has a table and a fridge. Outside was a very large patio with table and two chairs. The patio overlooked the port although had so many trees it was a great escape from the heat. Our first week was hot and this last week we were grateful for the winds however when the winds died down the temperature was in the middle 30's.

"Nice villa with rackets day long - krásná vila ale rámus po celý den"
08/12/15 Vladimir S
EN: Villa Telenta is located on the outer side of the bay Vela Luka over the city beach. For bathing we definitely recommend to go a little farther west, where there are beautiful places with shadows of pine trees. Not far from the Villa Telenta is the hotel Posejdon and here you can take a taxi boat, which takes you to one of the number of beautiful bays and small islets, where you are completely alone. The villa is clean, new built with terraces overlooking the entire bay, or the beautiful own well maintained garden. The rooms are acceptable, clean and altogether good furnished. The bathrooms armatures call for decalcification and maintenance. In the kitchenette there are kitchenware and utensils which were absolutely insufficient for serious cooking. Perhaps it is an intention how to get guests for breakfast and dinner in their own restaurant. Breakfast can not be called breakfast, it is simply poor and rationed like in a student hostel. Two principle minuses: 1. Racket and noise - the reservation for 8 days stay we did in June. It came only a confirmation but the owners somehow forgot to tell us that directly across the bay there are ongoing heavy construction works. It seemed us they perhaps build foundations of a new port and every day, including Sunday there from 6 am to 7 pm thunder heavy excavators and hammer. It's absolutely disqualifying for people seeking relaxation. To conceal such an circumstance is in the serious tourist business unforgivable. 2. WiFi – from the beginning we had no connection during the whole stay. The owner exchanged the router but this did not work as well. From his side no more endeavour to remedy the situation what was unacceptable. I have solved the problem by myself and this is maybe a recommendation for such cases : to buy an own Croatian SIM card for some 11 euros und you can get 7 days of flat surfing at 4G speed and really up 75 Mbit/s !

"nice location but poor services"
08/09/14 orsola58 Rome, Italy
The structure and location are not bad, but quality is not worth the price. the management tries to make the most money with the less services...some examples: the internet connection is very poor (very weak and continously disconnecting you) in the appartment I stayed sheets were too small for the beds and toiletries scarce and.. on request!; breakfast was meagre and we were served only one cup of coffee per person (if you wanted more you had to ask and wait...just to receive in the end a small additional cup). Also beware of the in-house restaurant: prices are really inflated and quality is below the Croatian average. I stayed more than a week and I will come back or not recommend the place.

"Beautiful location overlooking the bay"
07/15/14 Sirieerin Gloucester, UK
We spent 4 nights at Villa Telenta. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooking the water on the top floor was huge. We had plenty of room to stretch out and sunbathe, eat together, watch the sunset and even get some washing hung out to dry! The kitchenette was good but basic, a couple of electric hobs, a sink and a fridge. The addition of an electric kettle would be wonderful. Also the bed was a little uncomfortable for anyone over 6 foot at it has. A footboard which doesn't let your feet hang over the edge.. The bedroom itself was wonderfully cool during the hot days but would be massively improved by a newer and more substantial bed :). Our hostess was very helpful and ran a small restaurant in the evenings.. If you tell her what you want and when you want to eat, you will find your food prepared promptly on the warm terrace at the front of the villa. She was also good enough to arrange a taxi for us when we needed to catch an early boat. All in all a wonderful accommodation, with a couple of updates it would be perfect.

"Vela Luka"
07/02/14 Emkay0 Vancouver
We shared a 2 bedroom apartment with friends, including a kitchen and sitting room. Lots of room for 4. The location is far enough from town to be peaceful, but too far to walk. Fine for bikes, or arrange a taxi. We enjoyed the fish dinner (20E each), and the included breakfast on the terrace. The owners were attentive without being intrusive. We biked up to the Vela Spila cave. Great views, but a steep, hot ride. Ask for the key from Tourist Information in town, for access to the interior of the cave and the display. Order ice cream from the shop at the end of the harbour for a little entertainment with your purchase.

Excellent service, very clean, peaceful and beautiful. If you want to enjoy sea and sunshine this is the place to go. About 20 min walk from the centre of Vela Luka, but it is worth the walk, the property is beautiful and the owner is a very kind person, he even offered to use his own car to take us to the bus stop to Dubrovnik at 5am. Overall an excellent experience.

This was such a great little place to stay. A short drive out of the centre of Vela Luka but well worth it with the view you end up with. Was so gorgeous to sit out on the balcony and watch the sunset over the water. The gardens are beautifully set with grape vines and olive trees all set on the hill leading down to the water, was so lovely to eat breakfast amongst the garden. The hosts were really lovely and took great care of us, will definitely stay here again when we return to Vela Luka.

"Lovely hostess, lovely villa, lovely town"
09/30/13 jimmy_shovels Reading, United Kingdom
We stayed here for 5 nights, hoping for somewhere to relax after a similar amount of time in the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik. We got exactly what we wanted. The Villa was of a good size, with bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, hallway, small TV room and a nice balcony. As for the location, getting down to the Adriatic cost was a minute's work down the steps (maybe two minutes coming back up!), and you were quickly amongst rocky coves from which you could get in for a swim (but I'd recommend some kind of footwear to protect you from the rocks and spikey anenomes). The walk into the town was around 35 minutes as you had to go right around the bay, or 5 minutes walk and 5 minutes on the water taxi, which was a nice way to get around. Only really lose one start as it wasn't outstanding value, and being a tall man I can't stand beds that are shorter than me, but have head and footboards permanently attached!

"Great location, pleasant surroundings, hostess"
09/15/13 J. H. N Snowmass Village
The location was perfect for us! It was quiet, on a walking path under the pines that had a nice sea breeze with access to good sunning/swimming places all along, and restaurants/bars in the other direction. We sat under the olive and lime trees for breakfast; one night I enjoyed our hostesses grilled fish dinner (excellent!). On the last night we discovered a good restaurant a few buildings down from the dive school where they opened a little early for us for a delicious dinner. We had a double room, whose underneath (the patio above and the trees) location and small windows kept it cooler (and it was air-conditioned, oddly enough with unit in the attached room, not the bedroom) but restricted light. (So I read and painted outside, no problem!) Good bed, small 'office' area with frig for drinks, etc.
