This hotel is a find! The rooms up top are spacious and clean with marvelous views. Irena (I think!)- the owner- offered us homemade wine and offered to cook us dinner for 20 euros each. It was worth it! There is a path from the hotel to the water and being in quiet Vela Luka was completely what we envisioned.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent Location, Fantastic View"
Owners made us feel very welcome. We stayed for a week, and loved it. Weather was perfect, room was spacious with balcony overlooking the sea. Walked into town and back most evenings, good choice of restaurants and bars, only 20 mins each way.. We also enjoyed a BBQ at the villa which we would highly reccomend . Hired a boat for the day to visit other […] islands nearby, hired a scooter, and went round the whole island, Verukula worth a visit. Took a picnic to the nearest beach within walking distance and swam from the steps at the villa. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great location and very friendly owner, small room"
There is a very pleasant access to swim in the sea (from rocks and a platform) right by the villa and a pebble beach with beach bar, pedalos etc. 200m away. There is also a water taxi service every 15 mins to the centre of Vela Lucka (2 minutes by boat). If you like running or walking, there is a nice walk of about 2 miles towards the end of the harbour […] and 1 mile to the centre of the town. The car ferries come close and are loud but there are only a couple a day and they dont run overnight so this isnt a major problem. The proprieter is very friendly and helpful and made us a lovely breakfast and a fantastic (and very good value) dinner. However, our room was quite basic. (Although it had two rooms, one of them wasnt very useful because water from the air conditioner leaked into it.) The bedroom was OK but cramped for 3 of us. There was also a TV and fridge, Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great place for a relaxing getaway"
We had a great week staying at Villa Telenta. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay I highly recommend Vela Luka. The owners were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast (and dinner, if you pay extra) is served outside on the balcony/patio overlooking the sea. You can swim right by the place, just go down about 20ish steps to the water... bring […] swimming shoes though as there are lots of sea urchins! Air con and wi-fi plus a fridge in our room and a drying rack on our patio Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
A lovely spot on the water. The taxi boat into town was very convenient and regular... Much cheapler than a regular taxi. Our host was very helpful and provided a generous breakfast each morning. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. The only downside was the wifi was very intermittent and not reliable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had a lovely stay at Villa Telenta. It was very hot and sunny and the air conditioning in the rooms very welcome. We were upgraded for the first 3 days and that gave us a top floor apartment with a fantastic view of the estuary. Irene and Mario are lovely welcoming hosts and it was a memorable holiday. The economy room was small but I loved it with […] it's rustic terrace. There is swimming just below the hotel from the rocks, the sea is amazing. Food in the restaurants in Vela Luka is good value. The water taxi is delightful - a great place for a relaxing 'away from it all' break. Cannot wait to go back! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Overnattet der i 6 netter.
I Made the riservation expecting to find a small family hotel. I found a small studio in a tipical croatian apartmant. Far from the village but...not far enough. if you are looking for a secluted place, better find something different. Boats and ferries sailing very close....nice and kind owner.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had a very pleasant stay at villa telenta, the couple running the place was super friendly and helpful with everything, the villa is right on the water, internet connection was not good and the bedroom had no AC or fan but it didnt bother us too much since everything else was perfectGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fantastic sea view"
Vi had originally a 5-day stay planned, but added an extra night because we loevd it too much. Vela Luka village is so relaxing and Villa Telenta is perfectly located up the hill overlooking the habour and village. The hosts are friendly and speak adequate English. We recommend booking one of the two 'seaview' apartments. Complimentary breakfast is […] included. Only negative is very squeeky beds. Would go back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Uusi talo rauhallisella paikalla"
Todella siisti, uusi talo, jossa monta huoneistoa. Rauhaa rakastavan unelma. Emäntä ystävällinen, […] mutta etäinen. A nice hotel close to the center by a taxi boat. And the cheap taxiboat is an extra flavour for this nice hotel.. Beautiful view over the bay from almost all rooms.
"Hyggelig opphold i Vela Luka"
"Great, quiet place."
Villa Telenta is a pretty new, nice, quiet apartment guest house situated 20m from the water front in Vela Luka. Vela Luka is a small port town with all necessary shops on the harbour front. Villa Telenta is run by a very hospitable, generous and service minded couple. The apartments are clean and functional and have outside spots with table and chairs. […] The breakfast is served at a set table and has a set menu, but the hostess is eager to please her guests' small change requests. It is easy to feel welcome at Villa Telenta. We were a family of 4 (parents and kids of 10 and 13) visiting for 14 days. We wanted a relaxing stay away from the stress of the tight time schedules, and got exactly what we wanted. It is indeed possible to have dinner at Villa Telenta, but it has to be agreed on the day before. The hostess is a good chef, and the food is tasty and prepared in a efficient way to get the most from the ingredients, which are fresh and local, some of them even from the estate. It is Korcula home made cooking at its very best. Most visitors to Villa Telenta are adult couples, and due to some unsecured staircases we think that it may be difficult with younger children. Other than that, the place is warmly recommended and if we visit Korcula again, we will surely come back to this hospitable place. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Clean rooms, nice hosts. However the suite is quite not you'll expect: small windows, tiny rooms and the sea view is nowhere to be seen.

"Great little property, loved the view."
11/20/13 ShaneGB Brisbane, Australia
This was such a great little place to stay. A short drive out of the centre of Vela Luka but well worth it with the view you end up with. Was so gorgeous to sit out on the balcony and watch the sunset over the water. The gardens are beautifully set with grape vines and olive trees all set on the hill leading down to the water, was so lovely to eat breakfast amongst the garden. The hosts were really lovely and took great care of us, will definitely stay here again when we return to Vela Luka.
"Lovely hostess, lovely villa, lovely town"
09/30/13 jimmy_shovels Reading, United Kingdom
We stayed here for 5 nights, hoping for somewhere to relax after a similar amount of time in the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik. We got exactly what we wanted. The Villa was of a good size, with bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, hallway, small TV room and a nice balcony. As for the location, getting down to the Adriatic cost was a minute's work down the steps (maybe two minutes coming back up!), and you were quickly amongst rocky coves from which you could get in for a swim (but I'd recommend some kind of footwear to protect you from the rocks and spikey anenomes). The walk into the town was around 35 minutes as you had to go right around the bay, or 5 minutes walk and 5 minutes on the water taxi, which was a nice way to get around. Only really lose one start as it wasn't outstanding value, and being a tall man I can't stand beds that are shorter than me, but have head and footboards permanently attached!
"Great location, pleasant surroundings, hostess"

The location was perfect for us! It was quiet, on a walking path under the pines that had a nice sea breeze with access to good sunning/swimming places all along, and restaurants/bars in the other direction. We sat under the olive and lime trees for breakfast; one night I enjoyed our hostesses grilled fish dinner (excellent!). On the last night we discovered a good restaurant a few buildings down from the dive school where they opened a little early for us for a delicious dinner. We had a double room, whose underneath (the patio above and the trees) location and small windows kept it cooler (and it was air-conditioned, oddly enough with unit in the attached room, not the bedroom) but restricted light. (So I read and painted outside, no problem!) Good bed, small 'office' area with frig for drinks, etc.
"The quality does not merit the price"
09/02/13 SKnez Prague, Czech Republic
We stayed in Villa Telenta for three days in August 2013. The rooms were comfortably big, the same applies for the terrace. However, the bed and the sofa would need to be cleaned properly (or replaced, as you can smell their worn-out). The kitchen was poorly furnished (no kettle). The food (we took only breakfast) was basic (it would correspond to 2-3 starr hotel). The landlady was not very kind, or sometimes even rude. The biggest problem with Villa Telenta is the price, respectively the value for money. In comparison to other apartments and restaurants....on our Adriatic road-trip, this was far the worst experience.
"Best stay in Croatia!"

After having disturbed the neighbour while gardening we were directed to the right house, so be careful, it is the left, big house! The reception was then wonderful with all the needed information. We got a free upgrade to the appartment as it was free. A wonderful appartment with balcony and sight to the sea. We loved it! We were asked if we wanted to eat there and accepted. The table was decorated with love and we felt really welcome. We thought there would be more guests but they made it for us only. We sat there, had a delicious meal and a great glass of wine. After the meal, we had a nice discussion with the owners and learned a lot about the family. As we had to leave early for the ferry, they gave us everything for breakfast so that we could picknick on the ferry. This was our favourite overnight stay! Thanks a lot and we recommend it to everybody!

Villa Telenta is a pretty new, nice, quiet apartment guest house situated 20m from the water front in Vela Luka. Vela Luka is a small port town with all necessary shops on the harbour front. From Villa Telenta it is easy to find a commercial beach with beds close by, as well as more private bathing spots. You can walk to the town center (2km), but most of the time we used a small, cheap ferry that reduces the actual walking distance to a few hundred meters. Villa Telenta is run by a very hospitable, generous and service minded couple. The apartments are clean and functional and have outside spots with table and chairs. The breakfast is served at a set table and has a set menu, but the hostess is eager to please her guests' small change requests. It is easy to feel welcome at Villa Telenta. "really nice place, amazing view and wonderful hostess"
08/01/12 Nora2012_12 Sao Paulo, SP
I was at Villa Telenta last April with my husband on an amazing vacation in Croatia. When we arrived, the hostess (I guess her name was Irena) came with homemade dessert and as soon as she knew we are wine nuts she offered us a complimentary bottle of the wine her husband produces. As we were off season, she gave us a superior apartment than the one we had booked for the same price. Everything was very clean, simple but very comfortable and we had three windows and a balcony with an extraordinary view of the Adriatic. Irena is a wonderful hostess. She also helped us with the reservation at our next hotel and with the ferry boat bookings as we don't speak croatian and it's no that easy when you have a car. Don't miss the trekking along the seaside. You just have to walk down the Villa Telenta stairs right to the water and then follow the trail to your right. I really recommend this place.

Got a great welcoming! Had booked 2 nights in the apartment Aragosta, but as soon as we arrived we just had to add on one extra night since Villa Telenta was a lucky strike! The apartment was very clean, you had everything you needed in form of kitchen facilities and the bathroom was very fresh! The terrace outside was for our use only and you could get both sun and shadow. There are plenty of places to swim just a few steps down from the Villa, but make sure to have swimming shoes since there are plenty of sea urchins in the water and almost impossible to come into the water otherwise. The taxi boat leaves every now and then, not according to any timetable during high season and cost apx. 5 Kuna. There is a sign just after the beach club that says "Boat taxi"...but keep walking and it actually stops on the pier with a sofa just after the hotel. The family that runs the place is absolutely fantastic, they do everything to make your stay the best.

If you want to travel more like a local and have wonderful dinners at an incredible price, this is the place. This 3 story home has clean, serviceable rooms and apartments, a lovely view and swimming access, but it is a long walk from town if the taxi ferry isn't running. Best to have a car if you are there off season. The hostess is delightful and working very hard to please her guests. And she is an amazing cook!!!
