"Times Square Nugget"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.
"Consistency. You can depend on it."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.
"Affordable Quickie in NY"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
We had a very good time and the hotel was close to work.
""Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.
"Nice hotel in the theatre district"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Very nice hotel in the theatre district. Friendly and helpful staff. Basic room accomodations but very clean. Would recommend.

The landmark Brooklyn Bridge links Manhattan with the city’s most populous borough. Waterfront Brooklyn Heights offers superb views of Lower Manhattan. Renowned for its brownstones and leafy neighborhoods, Brooklyn embodies America’s “melting pot.” Italian, Mexican, Chinese, and Jewish communities add to the cultural mix. "Visit the Condor Hotel in Brooklyn"
This hotel was initially booked because if its location. In the future, I will be booking it based on the wonderful time and excellent service I received while staying there.
"Neat and clean in Williamsburg"
The Condor Hotel is a small hotel in the Hasidic section of Williamsburg. The hotel seems to have been recently refurbished, the rooms are nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast is ample (all offerings Kosher with documentation, for those extremely observant). The front desk attendant was extremely helpful in arranging transportation, […] getting directions, etc. This is a no-frills facility- no health club, restaurant, etc. If you have a family event in Brooklyn, or are interested in exploring Brookly or the Hasidic tradition, this is a fine place to stay. "Expected More"
The pictures on the web were a little deceiving. It gave you the impression of a high quality hotel in an upscale neighborhood. This is certainly not the case. Simply put, you are paying NYC price for a mediocre hotel, at best, in fair part of Brooklyn. We spent only 1 night in a room with a double bed. It was a very small room with twin size bed. Nonetheless, […] it was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again but not for an extended period. Read more
"Great Stay"
We really enjoyed our visit. We had a great time at the hotel. The staff was very engaging. The continental breakfast was great. The neighborhood was safe and clean.
Very happy with everything offered.
"Great Hotel.....Rough Location"
The hotel staff was excellent. This hotel is representative of new hotels cropping up all over Brooklyn, but more specifically within 10min cab ride to the new arena. Very nice, modern euro style hotel. The neighborhood, however, is industrial/residential and the home of the Hasidic Jewish community...which adds an interesting cultural element.
"Condor Hotel convenient and freindly"
we are already planning another trip to NY and staying at Condor. Clean, Friendly a few blocks from trains that will take you to Manhattan or Ferry to Manhattan. Mordy the GM made us feel very welcome and comfortable.
"Condor is a great hotel at a great value"
The Condor is a great hotel and really clean. It is also a great price for any hotel in the NYC area. The continental breakfast was not horrible either! The one problem with the hotel is the location is not that great. To get to the subway you have to walk a little bit. But, the hotel staff is very accommodating in getting cab service for you very […] quickly. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are needing to find somewhere in Brooklyn for a night or two stay. Read more
"Good less-touristy place to stay"
It was a nice place, I would stay there again. It's a short walk to a couple subway lines, and Andrew at reception was very helpful on giving us an idea of where to go beyond the postcard name places. The room and common areas were clean and in good condition. The street is grungier than I expected from the picture, but that's just because it's not […] in a hotel zone, it's on a fairly normal Brooklyn street, which I find a good thing. It's a short drive/taxi or decent walk to an eating area. Read more

"Nice Place"
A good clean place to stay. Simple breakfast was a plus. They just acquired parking across the street for $18 per day. Worth it in NY. Would definitely stay here again. Pretty safe area.
The hotel was five blocks from the underground train. Very long walk. There weren't many stores around the area. There wasn't enough hot water for my husband and me to both take a shower. The heat was turned off until we came back to our room. It took a while before our room was warm. We wouldn't stay there again.
"Okay if you are willing to use a bus to get to the"
If you use the buses you can walk just 2-3 blocks to access transport. One morning we came down to breakfast and there was a conference going on, over 100 people bustling around. It made it difficult to maneuver and at a certain point they closed items down because the Rabbi had indicated it was time to close. The meeting then started and then we had […] to listen to the presentation. I was not happy about that particular morning! It was a nice room and the folks friendly otherwise. Read more

"Condor Hotel - Excellent value, safe neighborhood"
We were traveling with my 79 year-old mother and wanted a hotel that was a bit quieter, but still a train ride from Manhattan. The Condor fit the bill. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a beautiful grocery store 1 block away for purchases of fresh fruit and the like. We would stay here again. The train is a 4 block walk which my mom […] thought was no problem. Read more
"truly a surprise!"
STAY AT THIS HOTEL! Esp if you have friends or plan to do things in Brooklyn. Very conveniently located, very nice and clean, with a decent breakfast. the walls are kinda thin, but no complaints overall.
"blink and you'll miss it but great place to stay"
My only issue was the walls -- paper-thin and we could hear everything going on next door, so bad we had to change rooms. But our front desk concierge, John, was exceptionally accommodating and we felt like VIPs. The pictures on the site are deceiving (the hotel is much smaller in person) and the building seems planted in the middle of nowhere - but […] we always felt safe and comfortable and really enjoyed our stay! I would have given this hotel 10 stars if it was just a 1/2 mile closer to the BAM area of Brooklyn... in 30 degree weather, the 2 mile walk was a bit much! My favorite things were the bathroom (gorgeous sink) and the beds, which were oh-so-nice to sleep in. Read more
"The Condor - soaring in Brooklyn"
We stayed 2 nights - parking was a breeze both nights, on-street directly across from the entrance. The room was spotless. We loved the balcony but the view? Not so much, unless you like brick walls. Breakfast was decent - we loved the crepes the first morning but sadly none available on the second morning. The front desk associates we encountered were […] helpful and pleasant. Read more
"Condor Hotel Brooklyn, NY. PERFECT"
The Condor is a very nice, clean and convenient place in the Bedford Hills neighborhood. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Easy access to the 278 expressway. The room was spacious and gracious for the location, we will stay again
"Condor Hotel in Brooklyn"
My overall experience w/ the hotel itself was positive. This was my 1s time to NYC & the front desk was very helpful w/ assisting me in navigating around the city. The hotel itself looked very out of place in a random neighborhood in Brooklyn & it did take me sometime to make my way to manhattan every day. But the hotdog itself was a great experience […] for a moderate price. I would recommend the Condor to others. Read more
"A Nice Litte Hotel"
My husband and I stayed a weekend while apartment hunting and enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly, the wifi worked, the room was nicely appointed and clean.
"OK, but not really near must-see sights"
So, I'm a New Yorker and was looking for a weekend out of the city with a couple girlfriends just to get away. I must say, this hotel is pretty far out there and for tourists that want to be able to get into the city and see everything, this isn't very convenient to most. You can't just step out the door and expect to find a bodega or deli etc. We had […] to walk several avenues/blocks through a sketchy neighborhood (I lived in NYC through the 80s, and I still felt weird walking around in broad daylight here) until we could find a few places to eat, but it's definitely not like in the city itself where you can step out and have all kinds of options. Given location, it is still just a 10 minute walk to the G train and after a couple stops you'll be at the L and can be just a few stops away from downtown Manhattan, which isn't terrible. Apart from the location and sketchy neighborhood, the hotel is pretty nice. It's clean, quiet and each room has a balcony -- though ours didn't have a view of anything but a brick wall I could reach out and touch. Breakfast was nothing special, just some cereal and eggs (which ran out when we got there), coffee (which also ran out) and juice. We had two twin beds in our room and a small TV, but the sheets and comforter were nice and comfortable. All in all, the hotel is cheap for what you get, and it's not terribly far from the city, but don't expect to come in as a tourist and be near any attractions or nightlife whatsoever. Read more
"2 nights near Flushing Ave Brooklyn"
Great hotel if you want to be in that area. Staff and room was perfect for what I needed. I can only recommend it if you need to be in that area as it is too far away if you want to be near the busy night life or find hip eateries.
Beautiful hotel. Extremely clean and the staff is great!! Even the complimentary breakfast was good. We will definitely stay there again.
"Ok Place to stay"
I would probably stay here again if visiting manhattan and need an affordable place to stay. This hotel is nice compared to the neighbourhood it is in. The rooms are clean, although the decor is a bit odd, maybe overmodernized? The water in the shower gets cold every 15 minutes. The breakfast food was great. Looked like it is a place for local couples […] to get away at. noticed a few of them as we walked in and someone was having a loud stormy night all night long next door. Read more
Everyone was very nice and helpful. The room was very clean and nice. Very comfortable place to stay.
"Very nice hotel, extremely nice staff"
The hotel staff went above and beyond to help us, we were there new years eve and they helped call us a cab to manhattan and one to the train. The room was very nice huge king size bed kitchen, full kitchen, very spacious. Only complaints some mildew in the shower and not a very nice neighborhood but I would still stay again.
"One night stay"
Hotel was new, clean, secure and well furnished. I enjoyed everything about the place I can't remember if there were internet in the rooms since I didn't use it. No parking so if you drive it will be a choar to find a parking spot in the area.
"Condor Hotel"
The room was beautiful and the King Sized Bed was extremely comfortable. The free breakfast was an added bonus. On my next trip to NYC, I will stay at the Condor.
"Excellent Value"
Outstanding staff that bend over backwards to accommodate every need. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. Breakfast is eggs, waffles, french toast, cold cereal, yogurt, white bread and coffee/juice. Subway is at least 6 blocks, but when we wanted a car service, the front desk called one and it was there in less than 5 minutes. Great place […] to stay! Read more
"Wonderful stay"
The Condor Hotel is beautiful and the staff were extremely nice. Would recommend to anyone!
"Lovely Rooms and Excellent Staff"
The Condor is an excellent small hotel located in South Williamsburg. No, it's not super convenient, but if you want to go anywhere, you can get there. The price and amenities outweigh the unusual location. The front desk staff are uniformly kind, accommodating, and warm. I would definitely stay there again.
"condor hotel"
the setup in the room was nice and i liked it alot, but had to check out early because there was bugs on one of the beds, (bed bugs) so had to leave early.
"awesome.. didnt think it would be. but it was!!"
The neighborhodd might make some timid... dont let it. The place was great!!! Staff was very helpfull and courteous and the room was awesome.. nicer than the w in manhattan. I had a great experience and would deffinatly stay here again if i was going to the bronx.

"Good Quality for the Price"
Good quality for the price. Hotel was clean, staff was super friendly and helpful. It's a bit of a walk from the train station and you need three trains to get to Manhattan, but other than that no compliants. Breakfast also leaves a bit to be desired. They mostly had pastries, it's more conteniental than regular hot breakfast.
"an elegant little hotel"
My son, who lives in the neighborhood of Clinton Hill, recommended The Condor. I was delighted with the place, Although it was full the night I stayed there, the desk clerks were always available to me to help with directions, car service and just pleasant exchange. The room was also fine. I'll be back.
"Nice Hotel"
We stayed at the Condor because it was around the corner from the hall where my son was getting married. All the decor is brand new and spotless. The rooms were large and we appointed. The beds were really comfortable. The closest subway station was about 10 blocks away. If you are going to take a cab to Manhattan anyway that should not be a problem. We […] really liked this hotel and would stay there again. Read more

The Condor Hotel was very nice building. However, with no place to park your car. Street parking made for a very frustrating experience at a very nice Hotel.

"Love this hotel!"
Will def stay here again. This is probably the nicest hotel in Brooklyn. Although there is not much in the neighborhood itself for non-hasidic folks, you are just 2 or 3 blocks from Myrtle where there are a host of restaurants and cafes. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We don't require much, but what we needed was supplied. […] WIFI is solid and fast. Our room had a great little balcony, bar, microwave and fridge. All fixtures worked and were very modern. Bed was comfortable too. Look forward to staying there on my next visit! Read more
"Great stay for a great price--walk to subway ok"
We just stayed here for four nights and made full use of the free breakfast and the comfortable room. After the small hike (six blocks) to and from the G train in and out of Manhatten each day we were thankful for the comfortable rooms and knowing where we'd get breakfast in the morning. Note that you will have to walk to the train, but after the initial […] walk with your luggage, it's really not bad at all. There are people walking around so you don't feel unsafe. We're from Philadelphia, so we're used to city-life, but the neighborhood might have you scratching your head at first--there's a hotel here?, but it's great and close to all the action in Manhatten and we'd totally stay here again. Thanks! Read more
"Wonderful little hotel"
Had a great stay at the Condor. Staff were very helpful and we even got a room upgrade when our electronic key didn't work.
"Condor Hotel on Franklin Ave -Brooklyn-New Your"
I had a long drive into New York in a snow storm and I was in need of some rest. I check in and the room was much smaller then I expected. The room had a leek in the bathroom over the toilet. It wasn't in comfortable on the twin bed, in fact I almost leaded on the floor a few time in the middle of the night. So I would not prefer to stay there again. Thank […] you Tired. Read more
