The Cooks Oasis Holiday Villas - Rarotonga

The 2 bedroom villa had lots of room so the kids could spread out and there was space for our friends to visit. The DVD library kept us entertained when we needed some down time. The kitchen had everything we needed including a large fridge, and snorkelling gear etc was always available.

The Cooks Oasis Holiday Villas was a delightful place to stay. The owners were extremely friendly and very helpful. The accommodations were large and comfortable and Christina, the owner not only provides a continental breakfast in your villa on your arrival day but will arrange for transportation from the airport. This property has a very small pool but the ocean and a quiet beach are only a short walk from the villas. We absolutely loved The Cooks Oasis. It is run by a Kiwi family who were always there if you needed anything at all. With snorkels and kayaks and a beach, you don't need much. They also coordinated our scooter rental, dinner reservations, and the breakfast was amazing! We will definitely be back! Molly & Baxter

We spent one night here returning from Aitutaki, waiting to catch USA bound flight. The hotel was about 10 minutes from the airport. A lovely island. Climate a little too hot for me when we stayed, limited our activity. The reception was very friendly and the staff most helpful. Quiet area, but several good eateries around. Enough in the kitchen to cater simple meals if needed.

My studio room on the first night was on the ground floor and I was plagued by noise from upstairs footsteps and conversations, the room could not be darkened, it was disappointingly appointed and badly located, and a wailing child in another room opposite meant I could not sleep after 6 a.m.. I paid for 3 nights, with the next 2 nights in a garden […] villa. After my move to the garden villa, everything was sweet. It was much better appointed and was stand-alone. had great stay. Only thing I would recommend is not to book their airport transfers. At $20 a pop pp is very steep and less than 5 mins drive. Also $5 dearer than the resort next door transfer price. We caught the last bus which cost $6 pp and dropped us right off at airport door!

Unfortunately, the first impressions were not so great. Pecel Transport that was supposed to pick me up from the airport, forgot about me. I had to wait for 45 mins and just hang out in the airport till some friendly local bloke kindly gave them a call from his mobile. The housekeepers on their 1st service day didn't make the bed, didn't change the […] towels that I'd put on the floor and didn't take the rubbish out. For some reason, their cleaners kept forgetting to take the rubbish out. BUT, I didn't want these impressions to spoil my holiday and just took it all easy. The good news is that the hosts are really wonderful, especially Roselle! I found them to be very friendly and helpful, which made my stay quite pleasant and comfy. Christine assisted with organising a one-day tour to Aitutaki island, and Kiel took me to the the church on Sunday. On arrival, there was a bowl of tropical fruits, another portion of fruits in the fridge + complimentary breakfast. All these little things were indeed appreciated! The studio itself (I stayed in Villa #7) is very spacious. It had a small LCD TV, DVD player, king size bed, safe, open wardrobe with a few coat-hangers, bedside tables on both sides, a desk and 2 chairs. The kitchen is small, but all the necessary appliances are available: microwave, small fridge, crockery, etc. Water pressure in the shower is good. Read more

Was very satisfied with everything that was on offer from the Cooks Oasis. The owners were very efficient and friendly; helped in every way they could to two very inexperienced travellers. The villa was in excellent repair and very clean plus very reasonably priced.

La casetta e' essenziale ma comoda. C'e' tutto il necessario per gestirsi in autonomia qualche giorno. C'e' una comodissima fermata dell'autobus praticamente davanti e sono due fermate per l'aeroporto. Comodi anche i posti intorno per mangiare. Davanti c'e' la barriera coralina vicino e di finco la famosissima e bellissima black rock da dove si vedono […] anche le balene. Ottimi tramonti! Unico difetto e' che le villa sono "lontane" dal mare e quindi niente vista diretta. Di notte ricordarsi di chiudere finestre altrimenti scende molto freddo (in agosto). Gradita anche la colazione in omaggio la prima giornata. Il trasferimento dal aeroporto costa 21$ a persona ma si potrebbe risparmiare usando l'autobus (attenzione ad orari!) mentre il late check-out (ovvero dalle 10 alle 14.30) costa 50$ ma spesso ne vale la pena. 他の宿泊場所と比べて料金も安かったので、ここの宿泊先にしました。オーナーのご夫婦はとてもフレンドリーでアクティビティなどの相談にも乗ってくれ、楽しい時間が過ごせました。家族経営の小さな場所ですので、24時間の行き届いたサービスを求める方には向かないと思いますが、気侭に自分のペースで過ごされたい方にはお勧めです。部屋も比較的大きく綺麗で、過ごしやすかったです。ただ部屋に電話がなかったのにはびっくりでしたが(笑)。でも全体的にはとても満足しています。
