The hotel owner was very friendly and accomodating. The breakfast choices which were included were great! We arrived during a cold period and it snowed and was very windy. The heat was not sufficient in the two rooms we reserved. That is my only complaint. Otherwise would be a great place to stay in good weather.

great place. only downside was the bathroom was about 18 inches wide. my knees literally touched the wall when i was sitting on toilet and i'm not a big person! but i'm sure all the bathrooms are not that small. the towels in the room were huge and fluffy. breakfast was adequate.

We had troubles finding maps to the hotel, but based on another person's review indicating that the hotel was just a short walk through the tunnel, we were easily able to find it. The staff was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to others.

We loved staying at Giovanni Rooms! We would definitely stay here again. You couldn't find a better location. The view is absolutely stunning. I think Manarola's the most beautiful city to stay in, too. The rooms are really nice and well kept. The only thing to keep in mind is that walking to the hotel from the train station is a little bit of a hike, just because it's near the top of the city. It doesn't take long (5-10 min.), but it's steep. It was fine for us, but a little bit hard on my older in-laws.

Very gracious hosts. The B&B is very nice and clean. The rooms are incredibly small as were the shower stalls. The road leading to the B&B is in very... poor condition with extremely tight turns some of which were dangerous . We stayed there to be close to the Cinque Terre, but in fact, it's far for the train station. The B&B is basically far from every attraction at all. You can't go by foot anywhere, a car is strongly recommend for the stay. The road to get to the hotel is not easy to find and very narrow. The room was way smaller than it looks on the picture. Not very […] nutritive breakfast. The service is very good. Everything is clean. Good coffee. Free parking and safe. They can give you a bike for the day if you want. Read more

We hebben tussen intensieve stedentrips door enkele rustdagen gehad in Villa Luisa. Het is een mooie locatie met prachtig uitzicht en heerlijk rustiek. Hoewel we onze kamer wel wat klein vonden, was het wel van alle gemakken voorzien; overal snel WiFi, alles was nieuw, en perfect gastgezin. In de zeer nabije omgeving is er niet heel veel te beleven, […] maar dat is een kwestie van even de auto pakken, of zelfs de fietsen die ze ter beschikking stellen. Wel één puntje van verbetering: Villa Luisa is niet/nauwelijks aan de weg aangegeven; wij zelf maar ook andere gasten die wij spraken zijn regelmatig langs de ingang van de lange onverharde weg gereden. Dit kan aanzienlijk beter; desnoods met GPS-locatiepunten (omdat de weg niet herkend zal worden in de meeste navigatiesystemen). We hebben in de buurt wel een fantastisch restaurantje ergens in de bergen gevonden; zelden hebben ze zo goed en authentiek tussen lokale bevolking gegeten. Read more
