This is a lovely traditional style hotel in Takayama. The location is very convenient to the train and bus stations. Free WiFi in the lobby worked very well, and the public bath was well-maintained. Food was just okay, but the service was friendly, gracious and efficient throughout the hotel.

We really enjoyed staying at this place. The service is great, the rooms are cosy, the food is great, and we liked the traditional Japanese atmosphere, the onsen, etc, etc. We would definitely recommend this hotel to ohter travellers.... and, definetely, include dinner in your package!

This ryokan is one block away from the train station and a 10 minute walk from the main shopping area and tourist centers. As a single female traveller, I felt very safe and welcomed and the hospitality was great. I also liked the fact that I had my own private bathroom so the shared bath experience was an option of my choice, but not mandatory. The […] facility was nicely decorated, has an elevator to the upper floors and I like the fact that they offered scented oils to burn in your room if you choose to. Offers both indoor and outdoor onsens. I am travelling with Kids, they are so meticulous and attentive to have prepare the Yukata for the 3 years and 8 year old that fits. Tge hotel is a traditional ryojan, with hot bath Breakfast and dinner are included which is a bit of a rest You can have dinner in kimonos which are lended by the hotel The staff is extremely nice especially with the kids A fantastic experience, highly recommend it!

Great ryokan with great onsean. Complit feeling of old Japan in a modern facility. Dinner and breakfast were enjoyable testing Japan flavor and traditiation. Location one minute from the station and from the main road and atraction. Staff being all helpful and kind. Very very recommended.

We loved staying at this ryokan which was conveniently located near the train station and within walking distance of all the sights. 非常非常貼心的服務態度，房間也非常漂亮與舒適，離高山站很近，只能用物超所值來形容吧！我們有帶1歲的小朋友，會哭鬧亂跑，但飯店幫我想得非，常周到，除了準備玩具哄小朋友外，還主動幫忙帶小朋友讓我們可，安心舒適的用餐，像家人的感覺，非常非常愉快的經驗，強力大力推薦

Vi uppskattade mycket vår vistelse på Koto No Yume. Rummet var som ryokan rum är, men av god kvalite, och maten - till vilken de flesta klädde om till japansk drakt (yakuta , ingår) - var utmärkt - och ordnat så att det fanns en förste-dags meny, andra-dags-meny, tredje-dags meny, alla omväxlande och goda japanska. "Äktheten" på ryokan bekräftades av […] att nästan alla gäster var japanska men hotellet var van med utlänninge och vi blev väl omhändertagna. 高山駅からは至近距離です。私たちは車でしたので特に問題はなかったです。 確かに日本調のホテルで、食事のときに見ていたら外人が二組ほど泊まっていました。 部屋は普通。エアコンは作動しませんでした。私が泊まったときには全部で六組ほどでしたが （火曜日）土日は予約が取れませんでした。宮川の朝市へのアクセスは、徒歩約１０分。 日本調のホテルに泊まりたい外国人には良いでしょうが、我々日本人にとっては 特に可も無し不可もなしといったところでしょうか。 宿泊料との整合性では妥当な感じかなと思います。
