"Perfect Stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
The Westin was perfect! Stayed in a suite with friends for a weekend away. The hotel was clean and the service was great. The location is perfect for walking and dining in the old port and totally accessible if you want to spend time downtown or further North. No complaints!

Price at the restaurant was high ei $16.00 for glass of house wine. Gym under reno and card for other facility didn't work

"Perfection in Old Montreal"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 3, 2012
We only stayed the one night at Place d'Armes hotel, on our way back to Vancouver and then home, but we wished we had more time, and will return. The hotel staff were both welcoming and efficient (not a combination one often finds), and the hotel itself was immaculate in every respect. The room was flawless in its design, the bed was soft enough to be comfortable, but not so soft as to feel like one is clambering from a bean-bag, upon rising, (as I found in so many hotels in the States!) I particularly appreciated that the designers had eschewed a bath/shower combination in the large bathroom, and installed a large, stone-clad, walk-in shower with a beautiful glass shower screen, instead. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Old Town Montreal by foot, which was just what we wanted to do, since we only had the one night. When we checked out, we left our luggage with Place D'Armes, mentioned when we would return for our flight and, when we did, a taxi was already awaiting us. Immaculate service.

"Hotel Bon Accueil - great staff, beds a bit small"
This hotel is ideally situated a couple of minutes walk from the main metro station (UQAM BERRI) in the Latin quarter. Any type of food you are after is in walking distance as is the gay village if that is where you wish to visit. Rooms are a little dingy and in need of refreshing and the beds seemed a little small but the staff are very nice and helpful […] and the price is good Read more
"Nice Place"
Very nice little place very well situated if you wish to be close to the tourist area. I was surprised that I had to check in at another address around the block, especially after I had been dropped of by taxi and had to walk through the snow to check in.

"very good"
-Over all ,the hotel is Ok . Clean washrooms, clean linen. The only thing I did not like :there is no parking and I used the line to call local and ended up paying $10.52 (was not aware of that)
Thiss Hotel has disapointed to me . in fact, the comfort of this hotel it's very bad it seems to like an hotel in poor country. Moreover, the neighborhood it's very bad. When i talked with a manager of a restaurant and he told to me this neighborhood has very bad reputation in Montreal. During the night i never close my eyes because the people who stay […] and rest in this hotel make a lot of noise. The room are not very clean. I'm tourist and I come from europ and i never seen an hotel like this. Read more
"Hotel Bon Accueil in Montreal"
The owners were very, very nice-- checked us in and prepared our room, however, that was the last we saw of them. For the rest of our stay, a very rude employee was at the front desk who seemed annoyed when we requested more toilet paper or asked any questions. Stayed in a room with 2 double beds. The room was clean, but very dark at night. Only two […] table lamps for light. No ceiling light. Bathroom was very small and had no bathtub or ceiling fan. No problems with this accomodation. Not fancy by any means, but if you're looking for a place to stay on a budget close to downtown (St. Catherine st.), it has a good location. Tutti Frutti around the corner for breakfast is awesome! Cheap, good food and good service! Read more
