I was visiting Cork on a budget, and had to find the cheapest place I could. Windsor Inn exceeded my expectations. The location is great for access to the city, the staff is first-rate. It's an inn over a pub, not a true B&B, but the pub serves great breakfasts and meals too. Live Irish folk music every night, what more could you want? The room - especially for the price - was comfortable and clean, better than some B&Bs I have stayed in. An old, old building (200+ years as an inn) but well-managed and well-maintained. You can't beat it for charm, convenience, and comfort. I will stay there again!

We visited betweeen Chrsitmas and New Years. Hands down the most delicious meal we ate in Ireland. Sadly while we were in the middle of ordering dinner my daughter made sick and we had to retire to our room. The staff took pitty on us and brought our three course meal to our room. My husband and spend the rest of our stay in our room caring for our daughter and we didn't get to take advantage of the beautiful grounds. We were impressed with the toy box and children's library. Our only disappointment came at checkout. We booked this stay with our Amex but were told at checkout that their card machine no longer accepted Amex. We just wished we were told that at check in. We would stay here again.

This elegant charmer was wonderful at Christmastime. The service was great and the hotel bar was very festive. Rooms were clean and comfortable although our telephone was not working.

Situated in the heart of Cork, Garnish House Guesthouse is close to Glucksman Gallery, University College Cork, and St. Finbarr's Cathedral. Also nearby are Bells of Shandon and St. Anne's Shandon Church.

Greatly enjoyed our visit to the Garnish House. The breakfast is awesome and the hotel staff are wonderful. We stayed on a very busy weekend but they seemed to move everyone through quite comfortably. "wonderful Irish hospitality"
chose this as a change from a hotel and was not disappointed especially since it had other great reviews. From our welcoming afternoon tea and helpful tourist info; nice spacious rooms and a lovely downstairs area including laundry, kitchen lounge & dining all available for use plus free parking. Absolutely superb breakfasts and that is an understatement!! […] Staff were so friendly and helpful. "Garnish Guest House cork city"
Stayed at the Guesrhouse last weekend, Found the rooms a bit out dated, However the staff were extremely helpful and freindly. Food freshly cooked to order and very tasty. There home made scones on arrivle were a real treat. Only a short distance from towm centre.
