Bali Villa Ubud - Ubud

I enjoyed the Bali Villa Ubud. It once was a private villa and has been converted to a hotel, so each room is unique and the entire property is beautiful. I stayed in a room on the edge of the property and had views over the rice paddy. Enjoyed breakfast in an open air restaurant each morning looking down over the grounds and beautiful pool. The hotel […] will arrange private tours for you at a very reasonable price, and offers shuttle service into Ubud. If you want to be dropped off/picked up at a time other than the shuttle service, it's available for a nominal fee. It does take a little over 20 minutes to get into Ubud, but it's worth it. Ubud is crowded and busy, but the hotel is serene. We used hotel transport to go to dinner each night and took two tours with a hotel driver. I would skip the spa - there's better in town. I used the hotel service for pickup at the airport too, and recommend it. Good price, they'll wait for you with a sign outside the airport, and you don't have to worry about whether or not a taxi can find the place. Villa Ubud feels like a little piece of paradise. Nyoman and his team make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive - and nothing can be too much of an ask. The Villa is located outside of Ubud but there is a free shuttle into town 4 times a day, and you can go anytime for 50 000 Rp which is a fair price. The Villa also offers an Airport Shuttle. […] I had room Mount Batur which was beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean ( a delight after touring Bali for 9 days and having seen quite different accomodations). I am a sensitive sleeper and use earplugs normally - given that I was close to the road I used them here also, speaking to other guests however they did not hear the road noise. The included breakfast consists of either fruit or juice, followed by cereals, followed by either an Indonesian dish or eggs any form, followed by toast, croissant or danish. Tasty and plenty for me. The pool was nice - and so relaxing just viewing the green jungle next to the villa. Shame I could not stay longer, but if I do come back to Ubud one day, Villa Ubud will be my choice. Read more

This was an amzing place to stay as it was very peaceful and a great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, yet still only a few minutes drive away. It felt really intimate staying there as you hardly saw any of the other guests so most of the time it was like having an entire villa and pool all to ourselves. The pool was beautiful […] and very clean and the lounges were wondeful to relax on all day and read or drink some cocktails in. If you have small children I would just be aware that the pool is really deep. The hotel has a free shuttle bus that goes to Ubud 4 times a day and it was only a $4 AUD taxi ride home so only a nominal cost for staying somewhere so peaceful. The staff were all really friendly and couldnt do enough for you. They arranged some tours for us through the office and also booked some others we found on the web that we wanted to do independently. The food from the hotel is generally pretty good, esp the breakfasts which are enourmous, although after a few nights I think we had eaten our way through most of the options. The spa is also really nice and we had some excellent massages there. The outdoor setting is very nice compared with being crammed into a tiny room in the cheaper massage places in Ubud. Overall we found Bali Villa Ubud a fantastic place to relax and get away form it all. Read more

We went to Bali for a relaxing holiday and certainly found this at Villa Ubud! The surroundings (between the forest & rice fields) and the beautiful architecture make this an ideal place for R & R. The service was impecable and made our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend Villa Ubud and will definitely stay there on our next trip to Bali!

This hotel is dependent on expectation, I have stayed in hotels in the outer area of Ubud previously and they have blown me away, this one was a nice place but lots of road noise and the Spa didnt work in the outside spa area the heater was broken. We did like the friendly staff and the Mountain bike hire was great and so was the breakfast too.

Paradise behind the big doors. Great staff, awesome room & good food. Free wifi even in the room & free transport into Ubud 3 times a day which is about 15min drive. Ubud villas backs onto the jungle but myself & my daughter felt very safe. Would definately recommend this place & would definately return.

Pros: The hotel is Beautiful....looking. Very secluded if that is t hat you are looking for. Cons: ants on the tables made it hard to enjoy breakfast; breakfast was just ok; creepy at night because there isn't much lighting; service is very slow, the employees speak and understand very little English; only one driver and the shuttle goes into town […] only 3 times a day. There isn't a specific pick up area and the driver is usually late. The pick up and drop off times are 10 am, 12:30 pm, and 6 pm. The shuttle only goes to ubud center which is 15 mn. Away. **this hotel is unsearchable via gps, google maps, etc. Do not arrive after dark or you will get lost. Read more

We were very impressed with the setting and gardens surrounding the villas, as well as the exterior design of the villas themselves. The backdrop of the gorge by the pool added a special touch. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The free shuttle service took care of the somewhat inconvenient location. Request for a villa away from the street […] though, to take advantage of the peaceful surrounds. Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits à la Villa Ubud et avons tout de suite été charmés par la beauté des lieux. La cadre de l'hôtel est magnifique, un réél havre de paix au milieu de la jungle, avec piscine et restaurant. A 15mn de route du centre de Ubud. Plusieurs navettes (gratuites) par jour, sinon 5-7 dollars en taxi. Les + : le personnel, de loin le plus […] souriant et chaleureux que nous ayons rencontré en 3 semaines de voyage à Bali, irréprochable, gentil et efficace. Les attentions du staff à notre égard, très soucieux de notre confort. Le cadre, idyllique pour se reposer loin de l'agitation d'Ubud. La corbeille de fruits dans la chambre, remplie chaque jour. Bons horaires de navette (9h, 12h30, 18h, 21h). L'eau chaude sous la douche! Les équipements de la chambre (clim, moustiquaire, coffre-fort et mini bar). Les - : le lit, que nous aurions souhaité de meilleure qualité et plus propre (tache sur le drap et ressenti des ressorts du matelas). La chambre est un peu sombre, mais spacieuse, tout comme la salle de bains. Le resto, malheureusement pas terrible (par contre très bon petit déjeuner). Les cocktails sont une catastrophe. Read more

渓谷とジャングルな感じが味わえて、素敵なプールがあり、まるで絵画の世界の中にいる様です、中庭の手入れも行き届いていて、規模は大きくないですが、アットホームな空間と素晴らしい景色に囲まれたプチホテルでした。お部屋も広く、床は大理石で敷き詰められていて、天蓋付きのベットでした。ウブド市街までホテルの送迎もあり、静かでとても雰囲気のある、チャーミングなところでした。

Staff uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam.helaas wel achterstallig onderhoud. Vooral problemen met wc. Eten was niet wat je zou verwachten en de porties karig. Voor een cocktail van 5€ kreeg je in een klein glas. Maar het was zeer persoonlijk en zeer de moeite waard om er een paar dgn te verblijven

Un lieu enchanteur et raffiné dans un site à la végétation exubérante ! Le jardin, d'une sobre élégance, fut pour nous un havre de fraîcheur et de repos, après nos journées de découverte d'Ubud et de ses environs. La situation excentrée de l'hôtel, à quelques kilomètres du centre d'Ubud, nous a permis de découvrir le vrai visage de Bali - paysages, […] cérémonies rituelles, habitat, etc. Le service de navettes mis à notre disposition a facilité nos déplacements. Et pour agrémenter notre séjour, un personnel diligent et d'une extrême gentillesse. Nos journées débutaient très agréablement par un savoureux petit-déjeuner, servi en terrasse. La chambre, joliment aménagée et confortable, donnait directement sur la piscine. Notre séjour d'une semaine nous a paru trop court, et nous n'avons qu'une seule envie, c'est d'y revenir. Très bon Hotel charmant , personnel de grande qualité , a vos petits soins et très prévenants . Restaurant tres correct et tres bons petits dejeuners copieux. Dommage que sa situation en bordure de route fait qu'il y a beaucoup de bruit dès le matin 6h30 (motos+++) et toute la journée.... Nuisance importante quand on compte se reposer ..... Cote piscine […] les chambres sont probablement plus au calme et dans la journée le bruit des fontaines sur la piscine diminue un peu cette nuisance.
