Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I went down late for the provided morning breakfast, as they were putting the food away. They made sure I got food and coffee. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a typical Fairfield Inn. However, when I went to my room, there was a large sticky spot on the floor in front of the couch. Since I wasn't using the couch, I didn't make a big deal about it, but just put some tissues over the spot so I would not walk in it. The next morning I told the front desk to let the cleaning staff know about the sticky […] spot. When I returned after lunch, the tissues were gone but their remnants remained - along with the sticky mess. I also found one or 2 other things that were not particularly clean. In addition the bed was hard as a brick. Some folks might like that, but not me. Despite it's close and easy drive to the convention center, I will not stay here again. Read more

Great hotel, great ambiance, great breakfast. All good. I had another hotel scheduled for following night in downtown Charleston, was sad I didn't stay here and drive in the 10 minutes to see the sights and go back to this hotel.

Breakfast microwave sandwiches disappointing; no fresh fruit. Overall breakfast choices limited. Very small single upholstered chair in room may have been "cute" but totally non-functional and uncomfortable. Variety in firmness of bed pillows would be appreciated. Major plus was proximity to coliseum.

Well, except for forgetting to replace coffee in the room. Otherwise, excellent. Especially impressed with staff, for example, the breakfast bar attendants were constantly refilling everything. Hotel was clean, rooms comfortable, flat screen, refridge, microwave, and the beds were comfortable.

We were in town for the Jazz festival and the location was perfect. The room had plenty of space for three people without running into each other. The mall was across the street and driving downtown only took fifteen minutes. This hotel was a great deal for the price.

The only thing is this room was displayed on hotels.com as having a sleeper sofa in a double bed room and that option is not availabe. The only room they have a sleper sofa in is a King Bed room. The hotel changed our room to better accommodate for our family. They helped us arrange for a taxi to the airport for 4AM. It has all been update. It is ABSOLUTELY beautiful! We would stay with them again!

Two hour free happy hour was great way to start the night before enjoying a show at the colliseum which was only minutes away from the hotel. Offered a free shuttle service to and from the colliseum. Also, alowd us to check in 3 hours prior to check in as well as check out 1.5 hours after checkout for no extra charge
