The hotel and staff are wonderful and we will definitely stay there on our next visit to Barcelona! The room was very clean and neat and the daily maid service was exceptional. The front desk staff was very professional and courteous. Wi-Fi in the room was excellent. Walking out of the hotel and looking up at the Cathederal every morning was surreal. Beautiful hotel and wonderful location!

Stayed for a five night family vacation. Our room for three was very nice with a king bed and sofa bed. Efficiency kitchen with dishes and silverware and cookware. Compact refrigerator. Very well located in Eixample neighborhood one block from metro station. Easy walk to many restaurants and the Passieg Gracia or upper part of the Rambla Cataluna. However the BEST was the service of the front desk. Whatever the request they were ceaseless in their efforts to please and accommodate. Information, directions, recommendations for eating and transportation, ticketing. The staff could not do enough for us. This is service that is rare to find in the amenities industry: a true personal touch. My family can heartily recommend the Acacia Suites for a Barcelona vacation. The only negative for some is that it is not located directly on Plaza Cataluna or the Rambla but if you want a quieter neighborhood, with a local feel it is a very nice place.

It is easily reached by L99 bus from the airport for 2 EUR. Exit just before police station. Ask the driver to let you know when to exit (police station). After you exit the bus, continue moving forward few hundred yards and turn left to a walk (road) railway overpass. Continue further until you will see the hotel on your left. It is about 10-15 minutes to walk. Railway station is about 25 minutes and the ride to the city is somewhere from 15 -30 minutes depending how many stops. The beach is only 15 minutes walk. I had a great stay, the safe didn't work, and the breakfast was accidentally not included despite I chose the higher rate. Hotels.com told me pay for it and send them receipt to be reimbursed.

"comfortable,good location for port and Las Ramblas"
Good hotel and convenient location for port access, Las Ramblas area but not a four star service. Many room related maintenance issues although eight months old.
"Ok location, poor service/amenities"
Stay here if you must, but you can probably do better with your money at the other Barcelona neighborhoods. While the room was large and does look nice & contemporary, the service & amenities were subpar. Their internet service was out during the 3 nights we stayed, so that was a HUGE bummer. Inside the room, everything looked nice at first glance, […] but if you look closer, everything is pretty cheap looking. We had a lot of issues adjusting the temperature in our room due to a weird/faulty controller, and the phone doesn't work. Perhaps it's the language barrier, but the hotel staff didn't seem to care too much about the problems we had either. In terms of the location, it's ok. It's about 5 - 8 blocks away from the lower stretch of La Rambla, but the neighborhood could get a tiny bit sketchy. However, everything is within walking distance, and the subway/metro was only a few blocks away. If you do stay here, you won't have any issues getting around the city. Read more
"Horrible Experience"
To start with, in fairness, the room was clean and as described. While only 75F (24C) outside the room was very uncomfortable despite the air conditioning on the highest setting. Unfortunately for my wife, young son, and I, having traveled overnight from the US with little sleep we were subjected to a music concert on the closed off street right in […] front of the hotel until 2AM! The hotel staff lied about the concert and at the very least could have put us on the back side of the hotel where it may have been less noisy. The hotel management could have taken steps to prevent having this small but loud concert outside of the hotel and should have informed potential guests of this event ahead of time so we could have chosen to stay elsewhere. Also be aware the facilities (pool, suana, etc.) were not included in the room price and they store luggage in a public unsecured area not monitored by hotel staff. This stay was torture for our family and ruined our remaining day in Barcelona as we were exhausted. At a minimum I expect a hotel to provide clean, safe, and reasonably quiet accomodations conducive for rest and apart from the room being clean they failed miserably and didn't seem to care in the least. Very nice Hotel close to Las Ramblas, Cruise Port and Airport. I recommend it.
the hotel had a modern look to it and was very clean, but a lot of things were broken and needed fixing. The bar/coffee shop service was very poor, and under staffed. Location was the best and close of everything, the neighborhood was not the best.
Everything's fine,except they have some homeless people sleep right around the corner of the hotel.
The hotel is new but the neighbourhood was not appealing and not whjere tourists would want to stay. It is close to a subway. There was no CNN or any other english news stations.

Praktisk plassering i forhold til havna og sentrum. Kort vei til det meste. Måtte be tre ganger om å få levert barneseng til rommet før de responderte.

"bonito pero incomodo"
Los alrededores del hotel són horribles, esta rodeado de edificios grises y tapan cualquier vista... para mi lo peor fué el lavabo...no te aseguran tener bañera y cuando llegué me apresuré e pedir una con bañera, me la dieron para mi alivio pero la cosa es que lo que es la pica esta fuera del baño, forma parte de la habitación y el baño en si tiene […] el wc y una bañera pequeña y estas dos cosas metidas en 1 metro cuadrado ...y no me alejo mucho de lo que mide realmente... asi que imaginaos la claustrofobia al bañarse o hacer uno sus necesidades! el centro esta a 25 minutos andando asi que cerca tampoco está, lo único que si está cerca es Apolo y la linea verde de metro, ya por último la cama era doble en vez de matrimonio y eso tampocó me gustó nada. para los que se pregunten si el spa está incluido la respuesta es no, no fuimos pero en las fotos parecia pequeñin aunque bonito. Lo bueno? la decoración, si es como en als fotos, minimalista,blanco y algún toque de color, y una iluminación acertada. Read more

Situé dans un quartier calme tout proche du bas des Ramblas à pied (10 minutes max sinon 2.50€ en taxi! Cet hotel est récent et en bon état! L'espace Spa est simpa et gratuit d'accès (même si ont vous demande de payer, dire que c'est inclus avec la réservation sur ce site) Juste en bas de l'hotel ( à 5 mètres ) une boulangerie café ou il est possible […] de déjeuner à moindre coût (très interessant par rapport à l'hotel et très bon)! Chambre moderne et propre, même si vous êtres 2 l'idéal est quand même de prendre une chambre plus grande pour plus de confort! Salle de sport minimaliste avec un tapis de course et 2 vélos! Byli jsme v hotelu 4 dny 2 dospělí a 2 děti (11 a 9 let).Na pokoji nebyla bohužel 4 plnohodnotná lůžka,jak jsme předpokládali,ale manželská postel a 2 rozložená křesla.Z tohoto důvodu byl prostor dost stísněný.Ale to je asi jediné negativum.Hotel je evidentně nově postavený,má velmi moderní,řekl bych funkcionalistický interiér,kterým jsem byl témeř […] nadšen (někomu to ale možná nebude vyhovovat).Milou drobností bylo,že každý pokoj je pojmenovám po některé významné barcelonské osobnosti-náš byl architekt "Antonio Gáudí",jehož stavby nás ve městě nadchly (např. chrám Sagrada Família).Personál,hlavně na recepci velice ochotný,poradil a pomohl koupit vstupenky na Barcu,sehnat spolehlivý taxík apod. Fue un regalo de aniversario y estuvimos muy contentos. La habitación estava muy bien decorada, limpia y daba a un patio de manzana muy amplio. Lo único que no nos gustó fue que la pica del baño estaba fuera.

"Hotel i Barcelona - dårlig service men flot"
Hotellet er pænt og værelserne fine - dog rigtig dårlig service fra personalet. Ved ankomst måtte vi vente længe på et værelse. Da vi endelig fik det, var det af en lavere standard, end vi havde bestilt og måtte vente længe på et nyt. Køleskabet virkede ikke, skraldespanden var ikke tømt ved ankomst, håndtag på skuffer og til ophæng af håndklæde var […] defekte. Der var ikke kaffe og te på værelset, som det stod i beskrivelsen. Sure miner fra personalet, når man gjorde opmærksom på mangler. Spa og fitness kostede ekstra. Hotellet lå centralt men området var lidt skummelt. Blandt andet boede der mange hjemløse tæt ved hotellet. Hotellet er dyrt i forhold til den service og kvalitet, man får for pengene. Read more
Fint hotel i nærheden af mange ting, dog et lidt "slum" kvarter. Pæne værelser. Receptionisten var dog ikke særlig venlig overfor os. Vær opmærksom på at det koster penge at benytte swimmingpoolen. Men alt i alt er Barcelona dejligt :)

Dejligt hotel beliggende i roligt kvarter tæt på grønne områder. Tæt på undergrundsbane - ca. 300 m, tæt ved havnen - ca. 300 m. Venligt og imødekommende personale, Dejlig morgenkomplet med næsten alt hvad hjertet kan begære. P-mulighed i aflåst kælder til overkommelig pris - storby taget i betragtning. Vi kommer gerne igen.

"Hotel Grums tæt på Ramblaen i Barca"
Standarden er meget flot, enten nyrenoveret eller nyt. Personalet lidt mangelfuldt, men ikke af særlig betydning da det er byen og hotellets gode faciliteter, såsaom dampbad og pool i kælderen, samt gode værelser, boede dog også på et superior værelse. Dyr morgenmad og dyr p-kælder. Men bedst af alt tæt på Ramblaen og de mange seværdigheder..

J'étais avec un ami à Barcelone pour un congrès professionnel, Avoir soudain l'envie d'aller aux toilettes et ne pas pouvoir parce que mon ami prenait sa douche est gênant. J'ai trouvé curieux aussi que l'évier pour se raser soit dans la chambre et non pas dans la salle de bain. L'endroit […] est d'ailleurs très mal éclairé pour se raser justement..
