"NO COMPLAINTS"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
I was not disappointed in any way. The location was easy to get to and a magnificient view from the room of Niagara Falls set the tone for the whole weekend. Dinning was great and service was above my expectations. What more can I say.
"great experience"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
great hotel with phenomenal service from the front desk staff. i noticed there were no robes in our room and mentioned it to the front desk as we left to visit the falls just so they were aware and i wouldnt get charged for them. i told them i really didnt need them. when we came back, there were 2 robes in the room, fresh cookies on the desk, new chocolates on the headboard, the bed was remade, and there was a hand-written note. could not have been happier with the stay
"Great location and large suits."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The hotel was reasonably priced and a two minute walk from the falls! The rooms were nice (King sized beds!) but watch out for extra charges...they will charge you a hefty rate at the end of your stay for just one nights parking.

Big attractions accompany the big falls experience in Canada. Fallsview Indoor Water Park, one of the continent’s largest, sits at the foot of the Rainbow Bridge. Nearby, MarineLand Canada features killer and beluga whales. Gamblers can chose between Casino Niagara and Fallsview Casino Resort, one of Canada’s largest. On a clear day, visitors can see Toronto atop the 520-foot Skylon Tower.

This place is old ,run down, and simply awful. We got a King non-smoking room with a Jacuzzi tub. The room smelled of mold and cigarette smoke. the carpets were dingy, the bed was worse. the entire room was falling apart. The bathroom was crummy at best. I wouldn't ever stay here again and I wold never recommend that anyone else does either. simply […] awful. Read more

"Not too bad Tropicana Inn MOTEL"
DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE PICKY!!! My boyfriend and I stayed here while visiting a friend in Niagara. I have to say, I expected the hotel to be a lot worse than it was. You have a regular metal key for the room, not a card key, no deadbolt just a chain. We had the king jacuzzi suite, I can tell you, the room was huge. There was us, boyfriend's sister, […] her boyfriend and two of his friends and everyone had a place to sit. The jacuzzi needed a good cleaning, I wouldn't go in there without your bathing suit. The water pressure for the shower and sing were really high. The fridge fit just enough. There was no remote though, I didn't bother asking because we only had the tv on while we were gone and to play video games before bed. Lundy's Lane is a better place the farther you go down. Very close to a nice pizza bar and a cute diner - both cheap and well worth it! Though, the inn is next to a few strip clubs and "sensual places" - THIS IS NOT A FAMILY PLACE!!! About a 5 - 10 minute drive to the LCBO (I didn't pay attention, I was more worried about the traffic) about a 15 minute drive to Niagara Falls. You need to remember this place is next to a strip club, DO NOT sleep under the sheets, use the top two blankets, that will be enough, you have your own air conditioning system which was tricky at first because the knob was put on backward. Customer service is lovely! I asked for extra towels and an ashtray. I could tell the moment we left that house keeping came, although, there were some black hairs left in the sink and the bathroom floor (both our hair is brown but, you could tell they were dark hairs) All in all, since we're young, this was a good place for a two night stay, a nice place to relax and drink. Cheap! DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE PICKY!!! Read more
"boris"
The swemming pool is too small.
"Its a bed."
Its a bed. Theres internet. Definetely a place for the low-maintenance. If you have a car, location is fine. Otherwise, its a very long walk to the touristy part. I would recommend this place for people who are low-maintenance. If you like to complain and are whiny, then don't bother. Actually, if you're whiny, you should just stay at home.
"Jacuzzi was great"
I rented the jacuzzi suit which made the hotel worth the stay. you cant go wrong for the price! Carpets seemed very old, hotel in general is very, very old. Could certainly use some updating. Other than cosmetic apperances this hotel was enjoyable, it was clean the staff were friendly.
"Tropicana INN"
without knowing what we booked in this place to spend the night, it was a horrible experiance. the room was dirty and smelled like ciagrettes, the bathroom was discusing, the towles OMG, we coudnt wait to get the hell out of that place. i sugest , to better sleep in your car then in this horrible palce. A BIG NO NO. places like this shoudnt even be […] allowed to operate. Read more
"Cheap and huge rooms"
The place was fabulously big, the beds were comfortable, the room was warm when we walked in too. It was affordable and more than what we basically needed. The hot water was slow to start, but all in all it was a good place to sleep and hang out.
"tropicana inn"
Place needs some work but overall for the price very satisfied.
"Stripper Alley"
I stayed here recently for a Halloween party in Thorold. Awful. Awful. Awful. There were strippers everywhere and the room was so disgusting, I think the stains were older than I am. The air and heat until didn't work properly. It was either freezing cold or boiling hot. No inbetween. This was the same story with the water in the shower...either really […] hot or really cold. "Luck of Toiletries"
I would like to suggest that if you include a Toiletries in this hotel. Over all the hotel was okay.
"Tropicana INn, Lundy's Lane, Niagara Falls, Ontari"
Cheap and cheerful but needs renovation.

"Not the Ritz"
Read many reviews after booking and thought about cancelling. We did stay the night, and its no 5 star Motel but it was clean, the bed was clean, the jacuzzi was clean. The furniture a little outdated and some work could be done but for the price it was ok. There was little noise and could not hear surrounding business.
"Tropicana Inn - you get less than you pay for"
Tropicana Inn desperately needs a renovation. Hard to distinguish between what's truly dirty and what's just old. Taps ran all night. Air conditioning very loud but not very effective. Not an overly expensive hotel, but still more than I should have paid for the quality.
Hmmm .. Where to begin .. Me and my boyfriend came to Niagara Falls for a weekend getaway .. when we arrived to the "hotel" our room wasn't ready .. even though check in was at 2pm, we arrived shortly after 2. We had to wait about a half an hour but was given our key. We had a jacuzzi room, king bed. when we entered the room, it smelled stale and musty. […] and 2 flies not only welcomed us, but stayed in the room the whole time we were there. the pool was decent. HOWEVER, it didnt look like it was cleaned on a regular basis. dead flies and bugs swimming around with the guests. all in all, for the price it was OKAY. Read more
the room is not that good. there's some fly in the room . good thing we stay only one night otherwise ....
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The room I was in did not have a door which locked properly. There was no chain or deadbolt. The room was not particularly clean, there was no kleenex and the remote control for the TV was missing. The worst part was the lack of hot water in the shower. It came out in a trickle and despite the heat of the […] day, it was not pleasant to take a cold shower. Read more
"LOCATION!!!"
The location of the Tropicana Inn was very dis-satisfying as a Hotels.com rep told me it was very close to the falls, as in walking distance...ahhh WRONG!!! Try more like a $17 cab ride each way. If you plan on spening time down at the falls for the night life i would NOT recommend this hotel as the distance from the falls is devistating!

"Tropicana Inn 8674 Lundy's Lane"
pas à recommander. confort très moyen.
"A éviter"
