      our favorite hotel in Sainte maxime. Close to everything, but quiet and comfortable. This is the 4th time we have stayed there, and we will come back.

    Location.
    Situated near the beach in Gassin, Domaine de l'Astragale is close to Port of Saint Tropez, Saint Tropez Citadel, and Musee de l'Annonciade. Also nearby are La Maison des Papillons and Place des Lices.

    My husband and I stayed at the L'Astragale for a weekend away and it was perfect. It was only a 10 - 15 minute walk into town and a 25 euro cab ride... home at night. The facilities at the hotel are very good and the pools were very nice. Can't comment about the nearby beaches, as the weather wasn't great the weekend we were there, but would definitely choose to return to the hotel when we find the time for another weekend away! by Liz A.  from London on 08/15/11
