During our stay there was work on-going upgrading... the ground floor and this started early in the morning with much noise.However, this will only be temporary; without this it would have been quiet. Om du är medlem hos Best Western så får du heller inga poäng efterssom du bokat via Hotels.com.     Bra hotell där allt funkar. Fräscht rum och badrum i helt ok storlek. Skön säng. Något litet skrivbord om man ska ha fler grejer än datorn på det. God frukost även om det inte är den med störst urval man sett. Stabilt hotell som sagt där man vet vad man får.

    Det var dansmusik till ganska sent som hördes upp till våning 3 som kallas för våning 5. Badrummet var lite småkallt. Saknar caffe latte eller cappuchino till frukosten. Det saknades också penna för att fylla i förbättringsförlag i den blankett som fanns på rummet. Annars var det helt okej.

    Hotellet har kodlås på rummen som man får via sms när man checkar in. Men när jag kom till mitt rumsdörr så var det mörk framför dörren så man kunde inte se knappsattsen så bra. Inne i badrummet möttese jag av en enomr stank, det visade sig att det var torra vattenslås. Så efter att ha spolat i duch och handfat i ca 30 minuter så blev det bättre. Påtalade […] detta när jag efter dessa 30 mnuter lämnade rummet och bad personalen kolla upp detta. När jag kom till baka senare på kvällen så var all lukt borta och det gick att sov i rummet. Men hur kan vattenlås vara torra på ett Hotel? Det fanns, på rummet, inget extra uttag att ladda mobilen i under natten, så jag fick dra ut kontakten för en av bordslamporna för att kunna ladda telefonen. Kan inte rekomderad detta Hotell.     Allt var mycket bra förutom att hotellrummet var kallt! Det var 20 minus grader utanför fönstret och det märktes! Jag fick ta dubbla täcken samt vika upp gardinerna så att de bara täckte fönstren för att få maximal exponering av elementen.

    Vi tyckte väldigt bra om vårt boende på Hotel City Gävle. Trivsamt och prisvärt. Vi kommer nog igen. Det enda vi saknade var ett kylskåp på rummet.
