The hotel is an old beautiful castle in a very remote area. It made for a really unique experience. Very scenic in the winter.

Hotel Bastei was a great choice. I went with my girlfriend for a relaxing weekend in the winter and found the staff friendly, pool and sauna relaxing, room nice, and breakfast solid. Highly recommened.

This hotel didn't come up on our GPS but believe me you can find it! Look for Klink strasse. The streets are all one way, so be aware! Great hotel location!! Really enjoyed our stay!

The owner was so nice and the service level was extremely high. The hostel is right were the trekking to Brocken starts. The owner was so nice and the service level was extremely high. The hostel is right were the trekking to Brocken starts. When you stay at the hostels you get coupens so you can use an outdoor heated pool nearby. Go to his hostel!!! (It is better than more hotels I have stayed at.)
