Yes, it's a hostel and not a hotel. Usually 4 to a room. Clean. Center of Oslo. Easy to get to everything: public transportation, restaurants, tourist sites, etc. Receptionist even made me a breakfast to go since I had to leave early to catch a train.

Everyone was friendly and helpful to us. We were a little surprised at the cost of the shuttle bus to and from the hotel and airport, but, of course, that is out of your control. Your breakfast was very nice, plentiful with lots of choices. All in all, it was a good value, and with Norwegian prices so high, it was affordable. Takk.

Overall the hotel was a pleasant surprise compared to the relatively cheap price for Oslo. The hotel is located at the outskirts of the city (ring 3) near a hospital. The center is easily accessible by a tram that stops 5m from the hotel entrance (the ride is about 20 min). The young man at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful with all our needs. Both the room size and the breakfast were much better than what we got at the Gardermoen Airport Hotel, that costed 50% more.

This 'hotel' is for the hospital and unwary visitors should not be misled into thinking anything else. The accommodation area, reception, and public areas are all set up for hospital needs. The restaurant for breakfast only is OK but..... it is very spartan and is used by patients undergoing treatment, complete with drip and drainage bags and dressings […] in various stages of freshness. Upper floors are used by the hospital administration and the basement areas are still being fitted out. Half of the external area is a construction site. The few staff on duty were excellent. This hotel is best for those needing basic budget accommodation on site while visiting and attending patients at the hospital. Read more

Fikk veldig følelsen av å være på barsel. De kunne godt ha ryddet ut babyseng fra rommet når de vet det kommer andre hotellgjester. Også litt plagsomt med støy fra babyer.

Som någon antytt tidigare så är detta inte något hotell, detta är ett SJUKHUS. Du får ett typiskt sjukhusrum men med en skön säng i en sjukhusbyggnad och frukosten äter du tillsammans med nyfödda bäbisar och deras föräldrar. Råkade själv nysa på morgonen vid frukostbordet och väckte då en av dessa små. Tyckte det var rätt roligt personligen men tycker […] synd om föräldrarna som bodde där och konstigt med tanke på smittorisk och annat.. Nä ANHUS hotell får inte många poäng hos mig.. Read more

Da jeg endelig fandt en parkeringsplads i området, var det udemærket. I burde have fri og rigelig parkering, når et værelse koster 1500,- kr. Buffeten til aftensmaden, var lidt slap, set med Danske øjne, men billig, ok. I mangler en brugsanvisning til Internettet. Jeg havde problemer med at lokke på, så efter flere forespørgsler i Receptionen, fandt […] jeg selv ud af det. Der skulle lokkes på via Sygehusets hjemmeside. Det vidste receptionen ikke, de kunne bare give en lok ind kode. Ellers et meget roligt Hotel, lidt Sygehusagtigt og hvide kitler, jeg vil sikkert komme igen når jeg skal på messe. Så må I reservere en gratis parkeringsplads til mig! Read more
