Second time to stay at this hotel, it was very pleasing. The change noticed since the previous stay is that the towels and bed sheets are worm out and over used. Only noticed the room service was slow when asked for Ice 3 times on 3 different days and it took over 30 mins to be delivered. In General, a real great Hotel to stay in.

Beautiful new hotel. Great location. Well equipped gym and beautiful rooftop pool. Staff were excellent. Business center was not functional yet, but staff allowed me to photocopy and print a few documents free of charge. Smoking rooms were available. Shower was excellent with the tropical type drop down with good heat and water flow. Very modern design, […] and the room was absolutely spotless. . A heap of TV channels were available. Well stocked minibar. I did not try the food, and I did not have my laptop so I did not pay attention to wireless connectivity or if it was free or not. There was a LAN connection in the room, and computers in the lobby free to use. The bed was very comfortable with heaps of pillows. Very nice four-star, with adequate gym and pool, and beautiful city views from upper floors. Staff were very nice and quick to help, as one expects in a Bangkok 4+ hotel. Onlt downside was room service food--mediocre, and the waiter forgot at least one item almost every times. This is based on a seven-night stay.

It's close to the shopping and entertainment area of Bangkok. A little out of the way from the river where most of the sights of Bangkok are located but the quality of the hotel makes up for that. It is right next to the BTS commuter train so after you learn how to use it, getting around is easy.

We arrived to find a terrible smell in our room and requested another room. We were accommodated and the new room was fine although rooms are rather small. the next day we noticed the same smell around the elevators which staff pretended to not notice although attempting to suppress the smell with air freshener. This hotel is perfect if you want a Western style (non-mom and pop) hotel while visiting Bangkok. It is 1/2 a block from the Ploenchit Skytrain station so you can get anywhere the train goes for sight seeing and getting to the airport.

The hotel is brand new, modern and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very good ! Its location is very good, right under the Sky train station. The crowded,busy Siam square is 2 stations away. So we enjoyed being in a calm location, from which we could easily go to Siam or other locations.

Prior to arrival was Skeptical about Novotel brand. My expectation was totally changed once I arrived. 1) the hotel is right besides the BTS ploenchit station 2) the hotel is 2 years old which is almost brand new 3) hotel staff are helpful eg we had book rm wz breakfast but upon check in the staff told us it is not. She did not decline right away but […] simply just ask us to forward our confirmation email to them. 4)concierge Panak is very helpful and knowledgable even though the item we are looking for in Bkk is unusual. He still giving his best to look for us and always have the can do attitude. 5) rooms is clean and adequately spaced and the design is contemporary and simple 6) tv had almost 70 channels and has many English channels 7) room service food is better than expected except the basil beef is quite oily to my liking 8) relaxing spa music is played along the corridor to your room and lemons grass aroma therapy oil is burned at the corner which is pleasant and welcoming. 9) breakfast spread has varieties and food is delicious and noodle station is very popular. 10) it is definitely value for money as we paid S$79 per night incld breakfast which far exceeded our expectations. Every thing about the hotel was generally good. Got an early check in. Spacious clean rooms. Water pressure in shower excellent. Minor irritants like Choice of english tv channels poor. Directly in front of the bts station ploenchit. Rooms are on higher floors so no noise issues from the busy road or bts below. Def worth paying extra for the rooms with access to the premier lounge floor. We stayed in a suite which was great and plenty of room for two adults and two kids - good sofabed for kids in the lounge room. We were staying there […] on new years eve and they had a special event in the lounge upstairs which was loud whilst we were trying to get our kids to bed. Spoke with the staff and it was managed well. NYE countdown is the only time they do such and fair enough. A sign of a good hotel is one that beats expectations and on the occasions that they dont then they take steps to address any issues immediately. These guys score highly on all fronts. The hotel is located right next to the BTS - Skytrain which makes it very easy to access most places in Bangkok. The room was very spacious which allowed our 2 young kids to easily put in their beds in the room. The room service was efficient and the food was very good.
