The room was very clean and a nice staff. But it was very small and only had 1 outlet to plug stuff in. It was ok but if you want to be more comfortable upgrade to a bigger room, or a window.

Value Hotel Balestier was a decent place to stay for a reasonable price in Singapore. Getting there was a bit of a challenge as the connections between bus and train are not right together. Staff were friendly and helpful and the convenience store next door gives some food for those who arrive late at night.

Room internet and wirelss is non-existent and calls to the front desk got the standard reply: it will be fixed in the afternoon. I stayed 8 days in this hotel and could not get internet access. Fortunately there was a 24hr internet cafe nearby. Laundry service is very expensive so figure out how to do laundry elsewhere - in Singapore, that is near impossible. Rooms are in close proximity. Hotel phones have deafening ring volume, so we could hear every single calls from our neighboring rooms, especially morning and check-out calls, it seemed that the phones does not stop ringing for an hour.

First, I send 3 emails to the hotel email add stated in their web and receive no respond after 2 days. So I decided to fill up the form in their web instead of manually sending an email. Another 2 days pass, still no respond. Got so angry that I actually took all their 3 hotel branches email and forward my email again. The Value Hotel i was in on barister road had a great location right opposite the bus stand. from where i could reach out to almost all the sightseeing locations in singapore. and just 3 to 5 minutes walk to the food court. the fact that the bus stand was right opposite moving about while still being on with the budget using the bus first to the LRT […] then going to any loation very easily and swiftly. I was staying there with my friends, we were in a short trip. I chose this hotel because my friend recommend it. I was stay there for 3 days 2 nights and had a problem on the first day. We booked for a twin room, i was happy enough with the room before I found out there wasn't any handphone signal in the room. I went down to the front desk and asked […] the reason why is it happened. The front desk didn't give me a clear explanation and indirectly they told me its my handphone problem. I asked my friend and my friend had the same issue with hers too. When I informed them if they can do something about it, they just apologized and said they can't do anything. I was waiting for a very important call that day and not having any signal in my room is such a bad experience for me. Since the hotel can't help me regarding the signal, I called to hotels.com customer care and they solved my problem. Thanks to them I was upgraded to deluxe room. Overall, the hotel is have a good location and clean. But, if anyone plan to stay there try to stay in the superior room or deluxe room. Read more

シンプルな部屋でした。清潔で、テレビも大きいのがついていて良かったです。ただ・・、廊下に面しているドアに隙間があることと、廊下の床にカーペットなどひいていないので、廊下を歩く足音とかどこかの部屋のモーニングコールなどでうるさかったです。初日眠れなかったので、次の日耳栓を買いに行きました。耳栓必須ですよ～！！ うるさいのはＯＫってかたにはお勧めです。とくにうるささ以外に悪い点はなかったので・・しいていうなら窓がないので夜中目が覚めた時朝なのか夜なのかわからなかったことぐらいかなー

交通还是十分方便的，门口就有公交车站。乘搭145，几分钟就可以到地铁站。 麻雀虽小，五脏俱全。酒店的前台也很热情，就算用最普通的英文单词，他们也会明白你的意思。 有免费wifi,和免费的行李寄存，很好。下次很有可能会再来。
